CHAPTER 13

They were staring at her, she could feel both of their intense gazes on her. Lantash sat in the throne-like commanding chair of the Al'kesh, golden mask and glowing blue eyes boring into the back of her head. Le'um stood next to him with his lower face covering and staff at the ready. He didn't bother trying to hide his glare, brown eyes full of hatred and mistrust.

Eelien tried to ignore both men as best she could from her place next to Rak'nor who wasn't staring at her but instead doing something useful like flying the Al'kesh. It was an odd feeling having one man stare at you with malcontent and another masked man who oozed sexual desire.

Her thoughts shifted to last night, his hot mouth on hers, his fingers digging into her hips. She rubbed her thighs together trying to ease the tingling feeling, all she managed to do was make it worse. Damn him, them. Damn them both.

She slammed her free hand down on the control consul, swearing at the shock wave of pain shooting through her arm.

Rak'nor flinched as his head snapped towards her. "Do we have a problem, pet?" He barked.

She dangled her chained wrist in his face. "We are in a ship in the middle of space, why am I chained?"

"Because, pet, we are hauling a ship only you know how to use. Also you can't be trusted to sit there without wrecking havoc. So shut up and let me do my job!." He looked back at Le'um and nodded in her direction, telling him to do his job.

They had told Le'um the reason he was coming along was to keep their Gods pet in check during their visit to the Citadel. She didn't like the idea of him touching her or breathing near her but it added fuel to the seething rage that she would unleash on him given the opportunity. The man had been more than happy to be invited by the First Prime and Amun on a 'chance of a lifetime to prove his loyalty.'

Fucking brown noser.

She glared at Rak'nor and hissed as Le'um approached her. "Touch me and I'll break every bone in your hand."

Lantash took pity on her and motioned for Le'um to unlock her from the chair and take her to him. Once free of the chair he pulled the chain making her stumble as he half dragged her to Lantash.

Angrily she stretched out on Lantasha lap and caressed his head piece, whispering loudy. "I'm going to kill him."

"Shh, don't make threats you can't keep." He cooed back. She caught the underlying meaning of his words: you can't kill him yet. "Prime, how much longer till we reach the Citadel?"

"A few minutes, my lord. We should receive landing instructions soon." Rak'nor replied.

Le'um looked to the open hatch of the cargo bay where Eelien's ship sat. "I don't mean to question you my lord, but why have we brought her ship with us?"

That had been her idea, there was no way she was going to leave her ship behind. Instead, since Ba'al seemed so interested in her being a Sourin then maybe he'd be interested in her ship. She didn't want anyone touching her ship but it was a great excuse to bring it along.

The form of Amun didn't bother to look at the simpering man. "It in fact seems you are questioning me." His smooth deep voice sent shivers down her spine and she couldnt help but smile gleefully at Le'ums irritated face.

"My apologies." He murmured, eyes narrowed as he glared back at her.

She stretched again like a feline in Latashs lap, struggling to drape a bound hand along the back on the throne basking in his irritation. Lantash stroked his metal-covered finger along her spine where the Jaffa couldn't see, making large sensual circles that didn't help the heart beat in her nether regions.

The flight consul beeped and Rak'nors fingers flew across the glowing buttons. "We have received the instructions my lord."

Eelien looked out the window, there wasn't any floating mega ship like she expected, nothing but the vast emptiness of space. Before she could ask where the damn Citadel was, an electrical surge flashed before them and the Citadel was just...there. Her skin went cold and her fingers gripped the front of Lantash's robes.

The entire Citadel had been cloaked.

"That's Sourin technology." She whispered as she slid off his lap and approached the window. Before she even took two steps, Le'um yanked on the chain and pulled her to the ground. Her hip slammed into the cold floor and her arm gave a sickening pop as it separated from her shoulder.

Eelien screamed at the sudden pain and rolled onto her back holding the separated shoulder. The cabin of the ship was quiet, Rak'nors eyes focused on their descent and trying not to react while Lantash gripped the arms of the throne.

"Watch where you're going whore." Le'um whispered as he stood over her, eyes glistening with excitement at her pain.

"Leave her alone." Lantash stated, his voice steady and bored but he gripped the arms harder till his knuckles turned white. "I think she gets the point."

Le'um dipped his head and stepped away from her, no one moving to help as she sat up.

Tekmak showed her a series of pictures of how to pop the arm back into the socket. Eelien silently thanked the AI and following her instructions she popped the arm back into place. She bit her lip hard enough to draw blood, refusing to cry out since Le'um seemed to like it. Her arm throbbed as she flexed her hand hoping the pain and tingling would dissipate.

Rak'nor mauvered the Al'kesh into a landing bay, setting it down with perfection. "We have arrived, my lord and have given instructions to disembark."

Lantash stood up, flipping the sleeves of his robe out with all the arrogance he could muster. "Le'um, announce me." He demanded, not even bothering to look at the man.

The Jaffa bowed deeply and disappeared from the command deck.

As soon as he was out of sight both Rak'nor and Lantash leaned down and helped Eelien to her feet.

"Are you okay?" Lantash murmured, running the palm of his hand along her shoulder, checking for injuries. Her wrist had a deep bruise already but the feeling was coming back to her fingers.

She nodded, watching the door to make sure the Jaffa didn't come back and catch them. "I heal fast, it'll be fine."

Rak'nor waited pateinty as the Tok'ra continued to check her hip, pushing the slits of the skirt apart. She slapped his hand away and straightened her hair and clothing.

"Are you sure that was your peoples technology?" He asked, placing his own golden mask on the lower half of his face to honor his 'god'.

"Tekmak is running a comparison right now but it looks like the same cloaking technology I use on my own ship."

Lantash flexed his fingers in his gold gauntlets. "We should have gone back to check on the Sourin after we left. Somehow the Goa'uld made contact with them."

Eelien couldn't stop the feeling of hope bubbling up in her chest. "Or some of them managed to escape before the planet fell apart."

The group pulled themselves together and exited the ship, Rak'nor first in his position as the Prime, followed by Amun who in turn dragged Eelien behind him. Le'um was face down on the ground in a low bow as Ba'al himself walked towards them, arms spread open as if he intended to hug Lantash.

"Amun, my friend, it has been far too long since you've graced the Citadel with your presents." He stopped next to Le'um who was still lying on the ground in the Goa'ulds way. Ba'al kicked the man in the ribs. "Get out of the way rat.'' His voice became cold and threatening, face contorting with disgust.

Le'um quickly crawled away on one arm, the other clenching his ribs. Eelien smiled after him, for almost a moment she didn't hate Ba'al quite as much.

He smiled again and turned back to Lantash. "When was the last time you were here?"

Lantash didn't look at him, instead he pretended to look around the ship as if it was the most interesting thing ever. "Last time I was here the System Lords helped my brother Ra steal my armada and most valuable planets. He even stole my name."

Ba'al laughed uncomfortably and rubbed his hands together. "Such a nasty business that was but if it makes you feel better he ended up betraying us all and set himself up as the King of Gods above all."

Lantash shrugged. "Not really, but I was happy to hear when he was destroyed, even if it was by the Tau'ri."

Ba'als smile faded all together and again that dark look rushed across his face as it had when he kicked Le'um. "And they are the subject of today's summit meeting."

Lantash changed the subject quickly, another tactic to make sure Ba'al knew he thought of him as little more than a nuisance. "The new cloaking technology looks familiar."

Eelien instantly looked to Lantash, thankful that he asked the question she was dying to know.

The Goa'uld smiled slowly and his eyes found their way to her making Eelien's skin crawl as she felt his gaze rank over her scantily clad body.

"Yes." He hissed out through his cold dead smile. "You have seen Sourin technology before."

Lantash yanked on her chain that pulled tightly against her already bruised wrist, forcing her to his side. "I guess I'll make proper introductions. My pet, this is Lord Ba'al. Ba'al this is my pet." He emphasised the 'my' part heavily, laying claim to his property.

All it did was make him smile more as he grabbed her hand and brushed his lips along her knuckles. "A pleasure to meet such a beautiful and rare creature."

Eelien rushed the dark haired man, hand snapping out to punch him in his smug face. Lantash, anticipating the movement, yanked her back hard, her hand just an inch short of making contact.

Ba'al took a step back and laughed again. "A wrathful little thing isn't she?"

"It's been fun trying to break her." Lantash replied coolly before motioning to the Al'kesh they came in on. "Since you seemed so interested in her I thought you might like to take a look at her spacecraft."

Before leaving, Rak'nor had made sure to remove the Tok'ra communication device and pulled the memory card for her. He now kept it in his luggage for when they may need it again and made her ship nothing but useless space trash.

"Yes! Please! I would love to see it." Without further invitation he motioned for some men standing in the landing bay to unload the ship. "While I look it over, how about you get settled and I'll see you tonight for the beginning ceremonies." Ba'al gave them one final smile before moving off to get a look at her ship.

More people rushed forward to unload their luggage while a man in nice silken pants sporting Ba'als mark on his brow, approached and motioned for them to follow.

As they passed by where Le'um still bowed on the ground, Lantash snapped. "Get up you fool." Le'um scurried to his feet, a dark look on his face as his embarrassment.

They followed the man, his bare chest was creamy and back heavily muscled. He was probably the prettiest man Eelien had ever laid eyes on . She leaned over to Rak'nor and whispered. "He doesn't have a pouch like you. Is he Jaffa?"

"Yes and no, he was most likely picked as a backup body should Ba'als get too badly damaged. He is kept as a pet like you, only he sees it as an honor." He replied, his eyes boring disgustedly into the man's back.

Eelien shivered and tried not to gag. She never would have guessed people would happily be used as a spare body like that.

A few minutes later and a dizzying number of elevators and hallways they finally arrived at the guest rooms where she and Lantash would be staying.

The man bowed at the waist and motioned them in. "You'll be staying here, honored guest. If you should need anything then ask for Munin, that would be me." He gave Lantash a dazzling smile before frowning at Eelien.

Lantash shut the door in his face in a hurry, not bothering to ask where Le'um or Rak'nor would be staying. Instead he pulled off his mask, unlocked the cuff on her wrist, pulled his metal gauntlet off his hands and dragged her into the private bathing suit. It looked almost exactly the same as the one back on Amun's ship, the only thing different was the view which wasn't much.

He ran hot water in the crystalline basin and forced her hands into the water, pouring soap in the water with his free hand.

"What the hell are you doing!" She demanded as he rubbed her skin as hard as possible.

He didn't answer, instead he snarled and focused only on her hands as he washed them over and over again in the hot water, not caring that his own skin was turning a throbbing red from the heat.

She blinked at the primitive sounds erupting from his chest. Finally she yanked her hands away from him spraying water all over the room. "What's your damn problem!"

"He fucking touched you!" The voice that came from Lantash wasn't his usual hypnotic and deep alien voice nor was it the gentle calming tone of Martouf. Instead it was an overlapping of the two as if both had somehow managed to speak at the same time, with the same mind. "That disgusting monster put his mouth on you!"

Eelien stepped back, shocked at the savage look in his eyes and hard set of his shoulders. He stalked towards her as she continued to back away from him almost terrified of his flashing eyes. Her back hit the cool wall, halting her escape.

He slammed his hands on either side of her, pinning her to the wall. "He's probably going to find ways to touch me as often as possible, you both will have to get over it. You can't freak out everytime." She stammered, looking for a way to escape his intense eyes.

He grabbed her face and forced her to look at him, his eyes boring through her soul. Her heart slammed against her ribs and her hands grew sweaty, the tingly feeling from before finding its way back between her thighs.

Was this turning her on? God she was no better than Lantash, that pervert.

"Let go of me." She said halfheartedly, grabbing his wrist to pull her face from his grip, her nails digging into his skin. He relaxed his grip and she tore her face free and turned trying to run under his arm. He grabbed her shoulders, twisting her as she tried to escape and pushed her chest to the wall, pinning her with his body.

"He's not allowed to touch you, no one is allowed to touch you." His voice dropped several octaves and his breath danced along her ears. He pulled her wrists above her head and slid the other between her and the wall, his palm gliding along her exposed midsection.

A shiver ran down her body at his touch, yes she was enjoying his jealousy. A lot. But wasn't it taking advantage of the situation to let him continue when he was so obviously blinded by rage?

Maybe...but she also wanted him to touch her to relieve the ache that had been building up since the night before.

His grip on her wrists hurt, mostly because of Le'um yanking the chain earlier but she eagerly ignored the pain once his lips began tracing the shape of her ear and his wandering hand found its way to her breast.

Alright she needed to put a stop to this no matter how much she really wanted him to continue, especially when his cool fingers wrapped themselves around her sensitive nipple.

Mentaly kicking herself, Eelien twisted quickly in his grip and pulled her wrists free while dropping under his arm. Her bones complained at the continued abuse as she rolled across the floor and popped up quickly. "Excuse me Mr. Grab-Hands but you don't get to tell me no because I was emotional then go all barbarian on me."

Lantash slowly turned to her, teeth bared in a savage grin as he spoke in that strange double voice. "And the game continues, try and run."

Heat blossomed between her thighs again at his grin and her nerves began to fire all at the same time, it was strangely a similar feeling she got right before snapping someone's bones. The relationship, if you could call it that, was going to a dark and possibly toxic place quickly.

And Eelien couldn't find it in herself to be worried about it, nope it excited her.

Just when she thought she might throw caution to the wind, the light of Lantashs symbiote died in his eyes and he blinked rapidly, the cruel smile slipping from his face. "I'm sorry El, I don't know what came over us." His voice had returned to the normal deep voice of Lantash.

She straightened her spine at the sudden change and shrugged trying to hide the intense desire that had been consuming her all day as if she hadn't just been pantanting at his touch. "Is it normal for a symbiote and host to control a mind and body simultaneously?"

He turned and looked into a long mirror, studying the reflection as if he could see himself and Martouf at the same time. "If others have experienced it before then we've never heard about it. It was a strange feeling."

An uncomfortable silence fell over the pair and the air grew eerily cold, Eelien watching Lantash and Lantash watching himself as if the person staring back at him was a stranger.

Someone pounded on the door to the suite and Rak'nors voice followed. "My Lord?"

"Oh, thank fuck." Eelien whispered, the tension shattering by the arrival of the Jaffa. "I'll let him in, go get the mask just in case." She didn't wait for a response, she needed to escape whatever happened between her and them.

She pressed the control crystal and opened the door stepping back to allow Rak'nor to enter. He entered the room quickly and shut the door behind him. When he was about half way through the room he stopped dead in his tracks as Lantash emerged from the bathing room, sensing the atmosphere almost instantly. He turned to Eelien and opened his mouth to ask a question. She cut him off quickly by shaking her, don't ask, he shrugged his shoulders and turned back to Lantash.

"The other System Lords have arrived and the festivities for the night are going to start soon. He has requested Amun's presents and the presents of his pet." He stated keeping his face neutral like the pro spy he was.

"The festivities? What? Like a party? I thought this was a summit or whatever to discuss the Tau'ri scourge." Eelien asked, actively avoiding Lantashs gaze, her raging hormones still causing too many issues for her brain to catch up.

Lantash grabbed the massive golden mask and placed it on his head. "It's customary to revel in a night of debauchery to make everyone comfortable before actually doing any work. Ba'als taste might be especially shocking so prepare yourself."

Eelien scoffed and gave both men a crooked smile trying to muster up as much false bravado as possible. "He can do his worst but I won't be shocked so easily. You forget I have been planet hopping for the last three years, I have seen a lot."

She expected Lantash to make a joke or even a thinly veiled innuendo as he's been doing the last few days. Instead the Jaffa and the Tok'ra just stared at her as if she had said something incredibly stupid. "What?"

Lantash walked past her and opened one of the chests, pulling out a neck cuff and silver chain. They had brought the neck restraint so her hands could be free during the summit in case anything went sideways and she would need to defend herself. He threw the restraint to Rak'nor and motioned to Eelien with a dip of his covered head before finally facing her. "As a women that recently panicked over her first kiss, I can guarantee you have no idea what's in store for you."

His words slammed into her chest as if he had kicked her, it felt as if her heart was being squeezed in a vice at his tone. The intense feelings of desire and lust vanished, only to be replaced with shame by his cold words. She didn't know why but it embarrassed her for him to reveal her lack of experience to Rak'nor.

Rak'nor coughed uncomfortably and snapped the icey collar around her neck. "We'd better get going. I just want to get tonight over with as quickly as possible so we can proceed with our mission. There will be too many eyes tonight to do anything."

On cue another knock sounded on the door and this time it was Munin that called out to them in a bubbly voice. "Excuse me My Lord, I know you haven't had a lot of time to rest but it's time!"
