Prologue
You open your eyes. You don't know where you are and you really can't see much of anything except for a wide grey void of space time. You hear a man's voice behind you start to speak and you whip around.
"Welcome to the world of Pokémon! I am Augustine Sycamore, the Kalos region's very own Pokémon Professor. This world of ours is widely inhabited by creatures known as Pokémon! These mysterious creatures can be found in every corner of our world…"
The man, who is wearing black pants, a blue button up shirt covered by a white lab coat, leads you to a painting filled with different types of Pokémon.
"Some run across the plains, others fly through the skies, and others yet swim in deep oceans. We live together with these Pokémon, lending our strength to one another to live and prosper. Let's get started with some quick questions…"
Before he could continue, a woman's voice making a buzzer sound effect sounded. "Yeah, let me stop you before you build up steam, Sycamore. This isn't their story here. It's mine! You promised me you wouldn't do this!"
"Yes, I know, I know, but I want a chance to tell a lighthearted tale again. Yours is so… not that. At all, Elaine." Sycamore said.
The woman, Elaine, rolled her eyes. "Yeah, don't care. You promised. Anyway, my name is Elaine du Blanc, daughter of Frostine du Blanc. By the name, you could probably guess that I am, indeed, the heiress to Du Blanc Studios, one of the biggest film studio companies in the world and all that entails.
"However. I don't really care about all that. I am a Pokémon Trainer. My mother wants me to do the thing that all highborn women do and pop out an heir or heiress to continue the 'family legacy'. Again, I don't care about that and I set out to prove I could make it in the world without my family's money or status backing me and that I could do it better than my mother did. This story is how I did all that."
AN: I am finally back from my long hiatus! Work kicked my rear end… I'm sorry. I have a new story, though! I'm not sure if I'm going to continue Loriana's story, honestly I may just scrap it but I had this idea for a Pokémon story from a comic I read from The Kite. I can't say what the comic is called because the title is… not exactly SFW. Neither is the comic itself! I pull from all sources. If you want to read the comic, search up The Kite on Google and look for a comic with a shiny Gardevoir. That's the first part, there are two as of this posting. They are long and I can only recommend this if you are 18 or older. Do not say I didn't warn you.
