A CHB Snowball Fight
Jason laughed, soaring above the others as he pelted them with snowballs. He easily dodged a snowball from Travis that, coincidentally, landed in Katie Gardener's head. Okay, maybe Jason did direct it a tiny bit. It was a rare snowy day at Camp, with brilliant weather. Everyone was joining in, laughing, drenched from head to toe, even Annabeth joined in. Thalia was allowed temporary leave from the Hunters to spend Christmas with her brother. Everyone participated.
Except one. One certain green-eyed boy.
Percy was just standing there, leaning on his bronze sword buried in the snow. Watching amusedly at the carnage.
"Hey! Percy! Why don't you join us?" Jason shouted.
"Yeah Perce, we could use you on our side!" Connor added.
"Nah, I'll just watch," Percy said, a mischievous glint in his eye.
"Aww, why not?" Miranda asked as Annabeth tried to stifle a laugh.
Jason thought for a bit. "Oh. Ohhhh."
A few others seemed to catch on. "Why? Too scared, Kelp Head. Scaredy-cat!" Thalia teased.
A huge circle of snow around Percy was ripped from the new grass, and dumped onto Thalia, only leaving her head poking out.
"Because snow is water, idiot."
