The One Time Ally Left The TARDIS In Space

Donna

I can't believe it. I'm going to a holiday resort on another planet and we're taking Ally with us. The Doctor says this is the safest place we could possibly ever go on holiday, which is boring. Mind you, that time on Midnight... that was supposed to be safe to and look what happened there. Still, something bad can't happen everywhere we go, right?

Ally

I'm looking forward to leaving the TARDIS. I mean it's huge but it can get boring, especially when you get lost... or is that just me? I can't say the TARDIS and I get on that well. It's probably because I'm a little upset with The Doctor at the moment. I'm a bit nervous about being in space, I'm not used to it yet even though I've been here almost a year so this is a bit of a push.

The Doctor

I do feel a little guilty about making Ally come out here but I want her to see how beautiful the universe can be. I know she's not really angry at me any more just nervous but I'm sure things will be just fine.

Ally

The first two days have been great. we've mostly stayed on the resort so I've been swimming and I went to the spa with Donna. The food is really good to. Later we're going to go to the market off the resort.

Donna

"I told you she's not for sale!"

I turned to look down the street. The Doctor is shouting at some kid keeping Ally close by. I run towards them.

Ally

I'm pulled tight to The Doctors side as he shouts at a boy we've never met. I'm not sure what's happening. I think he's trying to buy me. The Doctor would never let that happen, I know that. I'm still anxious, what if he tries to take me anyway? I don't speak, I don't know what to say, though it's probably best I don't say anything at the moment anyway.

Donna

"What's going on?"

"This child seems to think that however many times I tell him Ally isn't for sale if he ups the price eventually I'm going to give in but I said no! So what are you still doing here. Go away!"

"You want to what! Oi look here boy! Just because I'm a woman doesn't mean you can ignore me. You keep you're hands off our girl or I'll kick you where the sun don't shine!"

Finally giving up the boy slips off to find another target.

"I can't believe that he did that. How old was he, 9?"

"Slavery doesn't only exist on Earth Donna. I think we should go back to the resort."

Ally

What the heck just happened! I was minding my own business when all of a sudden there's that kid trying to buy me off the Doctor. I don't really know how to feel about it. Did I really nearly just end up as a prostitute? If the Doctor wasn't there would I just have been kidnapped? I can't stop thinking about what happens to other girls like me, the unlucky ones.

The Doctor

That was a close one. We should have stayed on the resort. If I hadn't been with her... I don't want to imagine.
