It was simply a normal day. Serena was simply designing a bow for her Braixen, when she heard a loud explosion on the front yard. She ran out as fast as she could, thinking it could be trouble. The only thing she did see was Iris, clearly beaten up and bruised, as if something dangerous had attacked her.

With there clearly being nothing to worry about, Serena left.

"Wait... Serena..." With weak breaths, Iris crawled over to Serena and grabbed her leg. "I don't want to die like this, all alone..."

"So?" Serena was as empathetic as a rock. Actually, rocks were more empathetic.

"Before I die..." Iris's words started to fade. "Please give me... one last kiss."

From Serena's pov, this was awful. Iris looked like a terrible witch, with an ancient power flowing around her. Instead of what Iris actually said, Serena heard "Please give me... your life!" as if she was about to drain her of her life.

Serena didn't have the most favorable opinion of Iris.

So what is the logical thing to do when one is presented with a terrible witch that threatens to kill you? You scream out to the heavens of course.

"Serena!" Misty ran from the back yard to the front, stepping on Iris's arm in the process. "Are you alright? Did Iris do anything?"

From Serena's pov, this was amazing. Misty looked like a knight in shining armor, one that used incredible strength to destroy the witch in one blow. In her mind she looked at Serena with a shiny smile, before saying "You are the most beautiful thing alive. Marry me." and giving her a ring.

Serena had a favorable opinion of Misty.

"Yes." Serena looked at Misty with the biggest smile. "I accept."

"I'm not sure you heard the questions correctly..."

"I didn't even do anything this time," Iris said, crying alone on the front yard.
