It was early morning and everyone was asleep, except one. Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third was already up and ready to leave for school. When he arrived, he looked at his old clock, it was 8:00.
Hiccup's mother was dead and he never knew his father, so he only had a stepdad, Stoick who ignored him.
"Well... I should get ready for class." Hiccup muttered.
Soon his classmates and teacher arrived. Nave, his best friend came and sat down next to him.
"Hey Hiccup!" she said, she had black hair and she had blue eyes.
"Hey Nave."
"Bad day?"
"So-so."
"Wanna talk about it?"
"Nah,"
She had ADHD like him, and her mother had passed away so she was living with her new mother and father.
After his daily routine of classes, Hiccup was sitting in front of a computer with Nave.
When computer class ended Hiccup went over to Nave and asked,
"Nave, do you want to hand out today? My house, after school." asked Hiccup.
"Yeah," replied Nave, beaming.
They arrived at Hiccup's house, then they went up to his room which was full of notes and making materials. His bed was a mess covered by all kinds of books and tools, like a true science nerd.
"It's a little mess but I hope you wouldn't mind…" said Hiccup, blushing scarlet.
"It's fine," said Nave, pushing aside some books and taking a seat on his bed. "Hiccup what are you working on now?"
"You know, the teacher said make an imaginary creature out of clay or playing materials for homework so I'm making a miniature Dragon." said Hiccup, taking a note from the wall.
"Neat!" said Nave.
Few hours later Hiccup's stepdad entered the room, surprising both Hiccup and Nave.
"Dad!" \"Hello, sir!"
"Hiccup," said Stoick. "what did I say about bringing your friends home?"
"I should tell you first." mumbled Hiccup. Nave looked guilty.
"Hiccup when will you ever listen to me?" he asked, looking down at Hiccup.
"Sorry dad…" mumbled Hiccup.
After a forced good-bye with Nave, Hiccup went up to his room and jumped onto his bed.
"Ow!"
Few hours later he started getting ready to go to sleep but he suddenly felt dizzy.
So he went to bed and that night and had a nightmare. There was a voice saying that he will figure out all the things that happened around him, and telling him that he will meet a friend that will guide him and an enemy that will try to keep his destiny contained.
The next day Hiccup woke up breathless.
