CH.3

Weiss is in her room talking to her father one day and they get into a huge argument over her life choices what with him wanting her to come home and marry someone to further the business empire and her wanting none of that but rather to follow her own dreams. It is this that Hancock can't help overhearing. When Weiss is finally done with her call she breaks down into tears as she thinks she is alone and so is alright letting down her façade. Hancock lets her be for a few minuets then knocks on the door.

Hancock "Can I come in?"

Weiss "yeah, Give me one minute" as she dries her tears and tries to put up her façade.

Hancock upon entering asks "I heard you crying, is it anything you want to talk about?"

Weiss "Not really just stupid family stuff"

Hancock "I know what it is like to have things thrust upon you against your wants, you can talk to me about your struggles."

Weiss "It's my dad, he only see's me as an object to be used to further his ambition"

Hancock "I have been seen as an object and used as one as well… It is miserable, it almost broke me, once…"

Weiss "I had no idea, how did you move forward past it?"

Hancock "Well I was close to giving up and loosing myself when someone came and gave me the one thing I never thought I would ever actually have"

Weiss "what was that? Was it Luffy?"

Hancock smiling "no Luffy came later and perhaps one day I will tell you that story but for today I'll tell you of the man who saved me, Fisher Tiger"

Weiss "Fisher Tiger? Strange name even for you guys"

Hancock "yes it is now hush and let me tell you how he saved not only me but countless others." And so she tells Weiss the story of Fisher Tiger at least the one she knows. "For more on Fisher Tiger you should ask Jimbei they where good friends up until the end…"

Weiss stunned at such a tale "And this really happened? Here in remnant? Recently?"

Hancock realizing her mistake "Hold your questions please we need to have a full family meeting because I just messed up I think."

Luffy and the rest had already been thinking about telling the others their true past and why they where here, when Hancock came out and said "we have to tell them I over shared with Weiss and she knows something is wrong with my story"

Luffy "Alright gather everyone and we will all tell our stories"

Everyone goes to get whoever they can for a special meeting. Luffy starts off by saying "As I am sure you are aware me and my family and friends are different than you guys, We are stronger faster and have weapons and powers you have never seen. Well that's because we are not from Remnant, we are from a different reality. Please hold all questions until the end and we will answer them to the best of our ability. Robin your likely the best to talk about how all this worked can you take it from here?"

Robin "Of course my captain, as Luffy said we are from a different reality. There is a place called Raftel in our world where a mythical treasure is stored. This treasure allows the captain of the crew that finds it one wish. Luffy wished to be able to right the wrongs of our world. We don't know much about the treasure and how it works but it took Luffy's wish and brought us to a place between worlds where we where informed we would get to choose a companion for where we where going. We where told this place would need our help and we would be able to make allies to assist us in our cause. I'll let everyone introduce themselves and tell you what they think you need to know right now."

Luffy "I am Luffy and I suppose now I am the King of The Pirates, the freest man in the world. I am really 25 but to get into remnant we had to be turned into 17 year olds so that's why we look so young. I am made of rubber because of a special fruit I ate called a devil fruit its why I don't use a weapon. I have 5 brothers none by blood all by choice, Ace is first amongst my brothers."

Ace "I am Ace and as Luffy said I am his brother unlike him I have a much larger family or at least I did before I died. Don't ask I don't know how wishes work. I also ate a devil fruit it allows me control over fire including turning myself and my clothes into fire. I am 23 or at least I was when I died. I served under Whitebeard as second division commander until the government decided that I deserved to die."

Whitebeard "I am Edward Newgate known as whitebeard to everyone. I also was dead and while Luffy raising Ace was no surprise for anyone Robin choosing me was a surprise for me certainly and I am sure for many of her crewmates as well. I was one of what where called the four emperors basically pirates that where so large the government dared not move against us. I was 72 when I died. I also ate a devil fruit one that allows me to some would say destroy the world. I have fought 4 of the people here and during one of these fights we tore the heavens open or so they say. I didn't raise a crew so much as a family and while Ace may have been my son when he served under me I would be proud to call him a brother as we now serve together under Luffy."

Shanks "I am Red Haired Shanks I gave Luffy that straw hat there after sacrificing my arm to save him. Obviously because we went back to our younger selves I have my arm back. I always looked at Luffy like I would my own kid if I where to have any. I do not have a devil fruit I never saw the need for one though I did cause Luffy to get his. I am 44 years old and I surved under the last pirate king so it makes sense I would serve under this one as well. I much prefer this one to Roger though. Before I gave up my arm me and Mihawk used to have the most heated battles for the title greatest swordsman."

Mihawk "I am Dracule Mihawk the worlds greatest swordsman though that title may not fit anymore after seeing Zoro progress. I was one of what the government called the 7 warlords, basically government backed pirates. I also taught Zoro once upon a time it made sense he would want an equal to stand beside him."

Zoro " I am Roronoa Zoro. I am first mate of the straw hat pirates. I was the first member Luffy ever recruited. I am a master of the three sword style. I have never eaten a devil fruit nor would I if given the chance. I am Luffy's protector and shield. It is not my place to judge what the captain says or does merely to follow the man I call my brother as he is the most honest man I have ever met."

Nami "I am Nami I am the navigator. Luffy saved me from a fate worse than death and for that I will follow him to the gates of hell itself if need be. I really like money and tangerines. This may not be the family I would have chosen but it is the family that chose me."

Nojiko " I am Nojiko I am Nami's sister. I like gardening and tangerines."

Sanji "I am Sanji. I am the chef. Luffy allowed me to chase my dream and for that I am forever thankful. He has adopted me as a brother and I suppose I have done the same for him."

Baby 5 "I am Baby 5. I have a string of former fiancés but that is in the past. I ate a devil fruit that allows me to turn any part of my body into a weapon. Luffy was the reason I turned my life around. If it wasn't for his actions against my former boss I would never have found true happiness."

Brook "I am Brook. I ate a devil fruit that allowed my soul to return to my body after death only problem it was delayed and I am just a skeleton. I am the musician and a gifted swordsman. Luffy rescued me from eternal loneliness. I had been alone for 50 years in darkness because of something done to me by another. After Luffy saved me how could I not follow him."

Chopper "I am Tony Tony Chopper and I ate a devil fruit that turned me from a regular reindeer into a reindeer human hybrid. I am the doctor of the straw hats. Luffy was the first one to actually see past the reindeer and be my friend. This of course became more than meer friendship over the years eventually we all became family."

Robin "I am Nico Robin. I am the archeologist of the family. I know that seems like a strange thing to have on a pirate ship and yes it is indeed a very strange thing however Luffy wanted me not for what he could use me for but rather simply because that's what friends do. Luffy saved my life even when he didn't have to. I ate a devil fruit that allows me to create appendages anywhere."

Franky "I am Franky. I am a cyborg and the man who built this ship. This ship was my dream and seeing it sail has been a dream come true. These guys have been such good friends."

Icdeberg "I am Franky's brother I helped build this ship."

Hancock "I am Boa Hancock. I fell in love with Luffy when he visited my island he never responded in kind but that is alright. I am the queen of the amazons though that was not always the case. I can turn anything into stone so long as it has feelings for me. I was helped save Luffy's life when he landed on my island but then he helped me past my demons."

Jimbei "I am Jimbei and I am what is called a fishman. Luffy fixed a problem I let fester and hurt other people long before he ever met me. I was captain of my own pirate crew after my good friend died but ultimately I had to join Luffy in his quest. I count it a blessing to be able to stand with Luffy and go for what is right."

Usopp " I am Usopp. I am the sniper of the crew. When I met Luffy he helped me save the women I love from certain death. He didn't have to do this in fact it didn't make sense for him to do this but he did it anyway. I haven't always been the bravest of pirates but to be a part of this family I had to be more than I could be alone and I believe I achieved that."

Kaya "I am Kaya I love Usopp and I am training to be a doctor."

Bartolomeo " I am Bartolomeo the cannibal. I was instrumental in forming the straw hat alliance. I ate a devil fruit allowing me to create barriers. I lead my own crew who are all fan boys of Luffy. In fact he is the reason we went to the sea in the first place."

They all look at them in stunned silence after hearing what they can do and some of their history. Unsure of what to even do or ask. Pyrrha asks "So we will never be as strong as you guys then?"

Robin "we have no idea, but we don't care as long as you want to get stronger we will help you."

With Ozpin.

Ozpin "There is something off about that straw hat wearing kid and his group of friends, I don't want you to have them do any sparing until everyone leaves after the vital festival. I have a feeling something is off about this years festival."

Glynda "I'll make sure they adhere to your wishes. Are you going to allow them to compete in the tournament?"

Ozpin "I don't see that I have much choice it would raise to many questions if I don't."

Glynda "Understood"

Ozpin "Can you send Qrow in please"

Qrow "what did you want from me this time?"

Ozpin "I have a group of very strange indivuals they happen to be teammates with your nieces, I was hoping you could try and get information from them under the guise of being here to watch the tournament"

Qrow "You think they could be a danger to the girls?"

Ozpin "I have no idea and that scares me."

After this startling revelation dumped on them everyone had their own ways of handling the situation, Yang likely had the worst way of handling it.

Yang "well after that I need a drink anyone care to join me?" to which several straw hats stand up to go with her.

Later at Juniors we see Whitebeard, Shanks, Ace, Zoro, Yang, and Bartolomeo sitting around a table drinking and talking when in comes Qrow.

Qrow see's his niece and several massive men all sitting around her drinking and talking and laughing. These must be some of her new friends and teammates that Ozpin told me to watch. He makes a line over to Yang and watches as all the men subtly tense as though they are ready to fight while still looking as though nothing has changed, its here he realizes he had better say something to Yang. "Hey Yang did you save any for your old uncle Qrow?"

Yang turning "No but if you pull up a chair I'm sure another round will be delivered soon."

Qrow "thanks I think I'll take that offer. Who are your friends here?"

Yang "well that's whitebeard with the mustache, Zoro over there with the scar over his eye, Bartlomeo with the funny hair, Red haired shanks with the red hair, and that's Ace with the awesome hat. They are friends from school Bartolomeo is on my team and the rest are friends from other teams."

Qrow "Nice to meet you guys I'm Qrow I'm Yang's uncle.

Yang "What are you doing here? Don't you have work or something?"

Qrow feigning being hurt by her question"Can't a guy come see his favorite nieces? Besides I just finished an assignment figured I would take some much needed time off and watch you compete in the Vytal festival. Glynda said you have a good chance at winning is that true because that would be awesome"

Yang in a serious tone "My team won't win, we will get to the final 8 and that won't be problem but unless one of the other teams does something crazy we wont win."

Qrow unsure of what to make of the tone Yang just used or what to make of what she just said "really? Well that is sad to hear. Why won't you advance past that?"

Bartolomeo "Because the final 8 teams will be the 8 best teams from beacon of which we currently sit 6th and its not even that close."

Qrow "wow those other teams must certainly be good then if Yang her team are not even close given what Glynda said about her team."

Whitebeard "yeah I lead a team but honestly the team that likely will win is Franky's."

Everyone laughes at this except Qrow who doesn't get it. By this point more drinks have come and they delve into drinking and swapping stories. In the straw hats stories they have been changed to fit the world they live in of course. Qrow as he is hearing some of these stories can't believe these guys are lying to him simply making stories up. He can't figure out why they would do that though. He keeps thinking eventually I will get them to reveal something if I just keep getting them to drink. Around midnight Junior comes over with the tab and goes "You have drank everything in the bar here is your tab please come again whenever you want."

Whitebeard grabs the bill "we certainly will be back you have been a most gracious host sorry about drinking everything in here we will try and refrain next time." He pays the tap with cash and asks "Is there a liquor store or something that is open at this time?"

Junior looks at the cash he was handed and is in awe that he didn't even bother to look at the bill he just handed a wad of bills to more than cover it. "Certainly, there are a few I'll write down directions to them for you since I believe you are going to need more than one."

Shanks "that would be much appreciated"

Junior returns with a list of places to visit and sends them off into the night. They visit every one of the stores and buy them out of booze. Qrow asks "what is all of this for?

Shanks "well a pre festival party of course. It wont be like the last one we had now will it Whitebeard?"

Whitebeard in a rememberance tone "No it certainly will not, to many faces missing and not enough booze."

Qrow upon hearing this is confused now he could just be hearing things because he is rather drunk but he thought he heard them say they where missing their faces. He certainly hopes he heard wrong as that would just be the worst to have to explain to Ozpin. Yang asks "where are you staying? I'm sure you could stay with us on the Sunny there should be room right guys?"

Zoro "Yeah there is room if you want to stay with us your welcome to."

Qrow thinking this would be the best for his mission from Oz readily agrees not really knowing who this Sunny person is and not really caring. "Who is Sunny and are you sure she won't mind me staying with her?"

Everyone laughs. Zoro "Sunny is my home and has been for a good long while not a person though sometimes I think there is a spirit to her."

Qrow "Oh"

They head back to the Sunny to get some shut eye before early morning training. When they get back Yang thinks it would be fun to have Qrow sleep in the training room seeing as he is mostly passed out at this point anyway. Everyone agrees it will be fun in the morning. They all go to bed not realizing tomorrow would be the last day of normal for awhile.
