"Hey, Harry," a suave voice said. Harry felt his heart skip a beat. He turned around, reaching a hand up to smooth his hair, and faced the speaker.

"Hi, Cedric," he squeaked, adjusting his books with one hand and hiding the other in the mess of rumpled black hair. Cedric smiled at him and Harry felt his heart melt. He's had a crush on Cedric forever, since the day Cedric's Quidditch team had beaten him. Harry had shaken hands with all the Hufflepuff players after the game, and he'd felt a sharp jolt of electricity when his and Cedric's hands touched.

Harry was gay, he knew that. It was all Draco's fault, at first. The blond boy had provoked something in Harry, something that wanted Harry to grab the polished boy and kiss him senseless. But Harry was over that now. For Cedric. Harry couldn't logically explain why Cedric had enchanted him so much, ever since the day they'd met. It was something about the rugged handsomeness combined with the perfect smile and the gentlemanliness that came with being a Hufflepuff. Basically, Harry adored him.

"Harry?" The ruggedly handsome gentleman in question said, waving his hand in front of Harry's face. Harry snapped out of his stupid daydream and reminded him self, yet again, that Cedric was straight. It didn't matter that he was kind, and sweet, and calm, and adventurous, and perfect in every way possible. Harry could never have him, because Cedric. Was. Straight.

"Yeah?" Harry answered, somewhat sadly. Cedric looked at him closely, and Harry tried very hard not to react to Cedric's face coming within mere inches of his own.

"Are you alright?" Cedric asked, concerned. Harry nodded mutely. Cedric brought out the stupid boy in him, the wordless boy who never reacted, even when he was called stupid, crazy, evil, wrong, insolent, everything he wished he wasn't. Was he, Harry wondered. Am I crazy?

Cedric cleared his throat, and Harry blinked away his questions. "Sorry," he said. "Just, um didn't get a lot of sleep last night."

Cedric nodded in understanding. "I know the feeling," he replied.

Harry tilted his head to one side, curious. "What keeps you awake?" he wondered aloud.

Cedric smirked. "Wouldn't you like to know?" He shoved Harry playfully. Harry laughed, a sweet, happy sound, and shoved Cedric back. And so the war began. Push, shove, push, shove, until Harry pushed Cedric against a wall, stumbled, and landed on Cedric's chest. He flushed a brilliant red and stepped away, or tried to. Cedric caught him and pulled him close.

"You know, you're awfully strong for fourteen," he murmured, fixing his soft gray eyes on Harry. Harry raised an eyebrow and responded cheekily, "Maybe you're awfully weak for seventeen."

Cedric laughed, "I'm not weak!" he exclaimed.

Harry snickered, "Yes, you are!"

The laughter died from Cedric's eyes, leaving them smoldering. Harry gulped. It really wasn't fair that Cedric could have that effect on Harry, leaving him speechless, while Harry himself was just a young, playful boy to Cedric.

"Only when it comes to you," Cedric said, his face brimming with sincerity. He leaned down until his face was level with Harry's, then carefully shifted forward until their lips were millimeters apart. Harry's breath caught in his throat. Cedric's breath smelled like sweet mints, cool and perfect, the scent washing over Harry's face. Harry's fingers trembled with anticipation as Cedric leaned in.

Their lips touched slightly, only for a second, then Cedric pulled away slowly, with a soft smile decorating his face. Harry glanced into his eyes and leaned forward again. Their lips met softly, slowly, moving in unison. It was a perfect first kiss.

As Harry gently shifted back, he had one thought coursing through his mind. So that's what they mean when everyone talks about fireworks.

Hi everyone, my name is Ally. This is basically going to be a bunch of HP oneshots, primarily Draco x Harry(Drarry) and Cedric x Harry(Hedric), but some others as well. That's all, and thank you for reading. Leave a review if you enjoyed this please!

Love, Ally
