Erica felt like hours had passed. Her head hurt and she couldn't see anything. She tried to move but her hands and legs were tied up.

"We kill one and send the other back" she could hear one whisper in a smooth voice. This was the leader Alpha.

"Very good" said a deep voiced man. This was her second in command Beta.

She could hear Aaron screaming "Help!".

Suddenly Erica's blindfold came off and she could see her friend on his hands and knees with his hands tied around his back. His face was covered in blood where he had been punched and kicked.

"You get to decide which one of you dies" Alpha dressed in a mask which had long blonde hair.

"Why are you doing this?" Erica said crying.

"It's the natural way of living. We survive because we are strong. You are weak so you have to die" Alpha whispered in Erica's ear.

Alpha then hit her over the head which led Aaron to fight back and kick Alpha which made her fall back on the ground in pain.

"NOBODY DOES THAT TO OUR LEADER!" Beta shouted grabbing Aaron by the throat.

Aaron, using his prosthetic arm punched Beta in the mouth.

Another member of the whisperers restraint Aaron.

"Change of plan" Alpha whispered being helped up by one of her group.

Back in Alexandria, the sun was going down. And still Aaron and Erica were not back.

The others were growing concerned especially DJ.

"Anyone heard from Aaron and Erica?" Asked Michonne as she and others gathered around.

"No, and they should be back by now" Gabriel said.

A search party was decided to go out and look for them.

DJ, Scott, and Michonne went out carrying torches to look for them.

"Don't worry we'll find them" Scott said trying to reassure his friend.

"I've decided something" DJ said shining the light Infront of him.

"What's that?" Scott asked as they continued searching.

"I need to be with Erica. I love her" DJ said

Scott laughed "At last!! You are perfect for each other".

"Shes my world" DJ added

"Good on you mate" Scott said patting DJ on the back.

"Listen" Michonne said "I think I hear crying".

They all listened. DJ knew who was crying, it was Erica.

He quickly dashed to where she was and saw she was tied up with bruises all over her face and blood.

"OMG Erica!!!" DJ gasped as he untied her.

He wrapped his arms around her as she cried. His fingers in her hair he then kissed the top of her head.

"Aaron is dead" she sobbed into his chest.

The others were shocked "what do you mean?" Michonne asked unable to believe what she had said.

"Alpha!!! she cut his throat right in front of me" Erica cried.

"NOOOOO!!!!" screamed Michonne as Scott grabbed her.

"Hes over there" Erica said.

"I'll go" Scott said.

Scott walked to where Erica pointed and lying on the ground next to a tree covered in blood was Aaron, he was dead.

"Michonne, can you help me carry him back to Alexandria?" Scott asked.

"Yeah, can you stand Erica?" she asked helping Scott lift Aaron's body.

"I've got her" DJ said protectively.

DJ helped Erica stand. "Can you manage? You can go on my back if you have no strength".

"Thanks" she said weakily as she climbed on DJ's back. Luckily he was a strong guy who could carry her on his back.

They all arrived back in Alexandria. To all the residents in Alexandria's horror, Michonne and Scott were carrying the dead body of Aaron.

"Who did this???" shouted one resident.

Erica got off DJ and stood up. "I'm going to tell you all what happened" she declared weakily.

"You need to rest" DJ said concerned.

She pushed him out of the way "no! I have to do this".

"The whisperers kidnapped me and Aaron and they beat us both up. Aaron tried to fight back to protect us both but Beta was too strong and he killed Aaron. They said this was only the beginning".
