It was the day of the community fair.
"I'm going to be helping the highway men guys make sure people get to the kingdom without any problems before I come and join you and we announce our news". DJ said as he kissed his new wife.
"Ah ok, I'm going to help the others at the kingdom get set up". She said getting ready.
"Do you want me to walk with you?" he asked.
"Oh,no, there's a group of us going so I'll be fine" she smiled.
Little did either of them know what dangers they would be facing.
"Well im going to join Ozzy and Alek"he said as they headed to the gates at Alexandria.
"Ok I love you. Be safe" she replied.
They kissed intensely as DJ then left.
For some strange reason, Erica had a bad feeling that she could not put her finger on.
DJ joined up with Ozzy and Alek. They were only helping patrol in exchange for watching a movie at the kingdom, but DJ was doing it to protect everyone especially his wife and unborn child.
"I'm DJ, I've come to give you guys help" he said holding his hand out which the other two shook.
"I'm Ozzy,this is Alek" Ozzy who wore a black hat said.
"Good to meet you" Alek said.
"So tell us about you" Ozzy said.
"I live at Alexandria with my woman Erica" DJ said carefully avoiding saying wife.
"You been together before all this?" Alek asked.
"No, we met during this" DJ replied.
"I'm genuinely happy for you" Alek said.
"Thanks, what about you guys?" DJ asked.
"We been out here for a while. And when Carol promised me a movie in exchange for keeping an eye on the road, well it was too good an offer to turn down" Ozzy explained.
"Do you know much about the whisperers?" Alek asked DJ.
"They killed some of our people including my girl's best friend" DJ explained.
"Shit, I'm sorry" Alek replied remorseful.
"Its ok" DJ said.
A few hours passed when they bumped into
Michonne, Daryl, Carol and Magna in the woods. They found an overturned abandoned Hilltop wagon.
Back at the Kingdom, all appeared to be going great. But the reality was Alpha was there disguised as a woman she had murdered several hours before who was on the wagon.
Also, some of her group were in there disguised in order to kidnap Frankie, Tammy Rose, Rodney, Addy, Enid, Tara, Henry and Erica.
