A/N: HAPPY NEW YEAR! I really wanted to write one special RanmaxAkane fluff, to thank all of my readers who had helped and supported me throughout this year. If I am an author now, it's only because of the kind support I got from you guys. I still can't believe that at last I managed to post as I wanted to ( issues issues issues)! But here I am, presenting you all a festive special! I really hope that you guys will like it :).. ENJOY!

The loud music sound was coming out from the dojo area as well as the noises of the invited guests. Ranma growled in irritation as he put his pillow tightly over his left ear to stop the sounds to irritate him furthermore. He is currently laying over his futon sideways as he tried to ignore all the craziness that's happening at the Tendo's. His mood is sour and he is feeling way too grumpy for any party that night. So what if it's a new year's party, so what if Kasumi had dreamed of having a new year's party this year..! He is not bound to attend any party if he doesn't feel like attending! He growled again when he heard high pitched laughing noises coming from downstairs..
'Damn it..! I can't take this nonsense anymore!' Ranma thought bitterly.
*knock knock*
"Ranma! Hey, are you in there?"
Ranma snorted and grumbled as he heard Akane calling him. He heard the knocking again and decided to answer her,
"Yeah, I am in here.."
The knocking stopped as she asked him,
"Why are you taking so long to come? Can I come in?"
Ranma stands up grumpily and starts walking towards the door. He opens the locked door and immediately become amazed when he sees her standing there, wearing a beautiful blue dress, which is giving more complement to her beautifully bunned blue hair. Looking at her elegant features, Ranma became so dumbfounded that his voice immediately got caught in his throat and he completely forgot what to ask her or why he was angry in the first place..!
Akane was also at the same state as him.. she became so stunned to see him in his messy normal attire. She could only stare back at him and nothing came out from her mouth at all.
After some time, Akane clears her throat which brings Ranma back to reality again. He also clears his throat as he says to her,
"Whoa, Kane! You are looking kinda.. You know.. Cu cu cu.. What I mean to say is.."
"Cute?" She finished for him as she smiled at him.
Ranma realised a breath he was holding as he whispers to her,
"Uh.. Yeah something like that…"
Smiling warmly at him, she shook her head and then suddenly, her mood changes from a happy one to a concern one. Then she asks him,
"And why are you not ready yet? Hmm?"
That statement of hers brought him back to himself as he remembered why he was angry some moments before and why he was hiding here in the first place. He growled again and said to her grumpily,
"I don't wanna go there.."
Saying that, he started to return to his futon as he sat back down over it.
Akane sighs, knowing very well why he is acting so grumpy right now. She slowly enters his room and closes the door. Then she slowly came by his side and sat down facing him.
"Ranma, look at me.." He turned his face to the other side, ignoring her even more. Akane pouted at this and said in a low voice,
"Pretty please…"
Ranma pouted and narrowed his eyes at her and asked, " 'Kane, what.." He couldn't finish as his eyes went wide open with surprise when he heard some loud laughter coming out from the dojo downstairs, "They are here?!" Ranma whispers in complete disbelief. When he saw her nodding her head he got even more furious and almost snapped at her, "And why are they here?!"
Akane shrugged her shoulders and sighed defeated as she answers him politely, "Well duh! It's Kasumi's party after all!"
Ranma growled in frustration and said, "I am definitely not going now. No way!"
Akane sighs and says while whimpering,
"Look, I won't blame you if you don't want to attend the party today. But Ranma… Kasumi and Obasama have worked so hard for today's party. And obasama has made sure to make every dish that you love to eat. And it's not only that Ranma, this party is also more special because.." She stopped her talking as she slowly puts her hand on his cheek and made him look at her.
When his wandering blue eyes meet her warm brown eyes, she smiles at him and says,
"Because it's the first new year's party you are going to attend with your mom after your long separation from her. It's really important, Ranma.. And only just for her.. Get ready and join the party, hmm?"
Ranma sighs defeated and nodded his head and whispered bitterly,
"I hate all this.."
"You can despise it all later.. Now be a good mama's manly boy and come downstairs.." Akane said while giggling and stood up while pulling him to stand up with her. She slightly pushed him towards his closet as she started to get out of the room. But before leaving she turned to him and asked him, ..
"Ranma.."
"Yeah.." Ranma turned to her as he scratched his back head.
"You are going to wear that, right?"
Ranma smiled at her and said, "Of course.. What else.. Do I have any other choice?"
Akane smiled back at him and said while leaving him,
"Come soon, baka.. Everyone is waiting for you.." And she left him to get ready for the party.
Ranma sighs as he tiredly opens his closet door and looks for the gift that Akane had gifted him for the Christmas. It is a blue Chinese shirt that has dragon prints on it. He liked it a lot but he was upset when he found out that she didn't made him anything this time.. But whatever it is, this gift is from her and that's special enough for him.
At the dojo.
Surprisingly, the party has been going smoothly. Hours passed by but nothing chaotic happened, which is way too unusual for all the residents.
Ranma eventually came down after Akane left him in his room. He came to join the party in a fake good mood, but when he came face to face with his other fiance's, he couldn't even fake his happiness anymore. They tried to approach him, cling to him and get closer to him. But he ignored all of them, even growled in irritation when he felt their nearness. When they dared to grope him, he gave them the most heated glare which was so unlike of him. So, after some trying and after all their failed attempts, they eventually gave up as they started to enjoy themselves with others.
Akane noticed all these happening from a distance. She began to worry for him because she knows why he is acting this way towards them. And she just can't blame him for acting this way. In some moments their eyes meet and they stare at each other with concern in their eyes. But Akane didn't approach him , she gave him time to compose himself and to cool himself down. She tried to talk to him once when he was standing alone and he was okay with that, but when he dared to smile at one of her teasing words, his other finances joined them forcefully, groping him and started demanding him to laugh with them as well. When she felt a near battle ready to start anytime soon, she excused herself from them and tried to focus on attending the other guests, which was getting more difficult as she noticed how uncomfortable he began to look.
Ranma just wanted to finish his meal as soon as he could and leave the place in a hurry. He was feeling so angry just by looking at his so-called wanna be fiances.. He felt light-hearted when Akane came to him and they shared little time with each other, but then again, Shampoo, Ukyo and Kodachi had to come and ruin everything for them.. He was close to snap at them, when Akane excused herself and left him again. They didn't leave him alone though.. They kept bothering him, rubbing themselves on him and started demanding his response as well.. At last he had enough and got irritated at them and snapped at all of them as silently as he could, so as not to disturb the ongoing party.
After that, Ukyo started giving him cold shoulder, 'as if he cares', Shampoo started showing off with Mousse and other guys and Sassuke took his fainted distress mistress out from the party. Ranma knows his mother has worked so hard to make all the dishes here, so before leaving the party he had tried all the foods in haste and after eating, he left the place unnoticed…
But unknown to him, someone was observing his every action closely and when he left, that person also followed him outside.
Ranma left the Tendo resident, feeling so hopeless and upset about everything. He went to the nearest park and sat down at a bench which was in a quietest area of the park. He sighs sadly and thought to himself,
'I really want to start the new year with her.. But with them surrounding us, I don't think they would let us get close.. So it's better I stay here..'
He sighed again and looked down at his fisted hands as he grumbled, "Damn it.."
"Ranma.."
Startled to hear the voice, he hastily looked behind him and became shocked to find his mother standing there with worry on her face.
"Mom!" Ranma stood up in a hurry and went to her, "What's the matter, mother? Why are you here?"
"I was following you my son.." She said smiling when he reached her side.
"You were?!" She nodded her head, still smiling, "But why?"
"I want to talk with you.. Can we go there and sit?" She asked with a soft tone.
"Oh, sure mom! Let's go.."
They sat there and got quiet, both lost in their own thoughts. After several moments has passed,
Nodoka clears his throat as she asked him,
"Ranma I.."
"Yes mother.."
Nodoka sighs as she turns to him and lays her hand over his cold hand, then she asks him in a motherly concern tone,
"Son, I have noticed that you are not behaving like yourself for the past few days. You look so pissed off and upset all the time.. What happened to you, dear? Is there something bothering you?"
Ranma started stuttering as he said, "Uh.. That is.. You can tell?"
"Well of course, honey! I am your mother after all.." Hearing her say that he sighed guiltily as he lowered his head again. Then she began saying, "I worked so hard today on cooking only because I know how a Saotome's belly works when they are upset. But I think you didn't like any of what I made today.. Oh, Kami, I think I have put less sugar on the cake today. I should have been more careful about that." She finished as she sniffed and wiped her eyes with her kimono.
Ranma was shocked to hear her say that. He doesn't understand why his mother would ever think of him getting upset about the cake being less sweet! Which is not the case in the first place.. Then when he heard his mother sniffing again, he hurriedly started to say,
"Mom! It's not like that at all.. The cake tasted so good!"
"Really!?" She asked expectantly looking up at him..
"Uh of course, mom!" He smiled at her in assurance. Then he said to her while chuckling to himself, "You always think, all I care about is food, don't you mom?" He asked her with sarcasm as he shook his head in amusement.
"Oh dear! Ranma.. Is it not?! I am sorry, actually the way I saw you eating I thought you didn't like any of it..."
"Nah, mom! I was just tryin ta get out there as fast as I can.. There was nothing wrong with the food.."
She was startled to hear that as she asked him, "And why you wanted to leave that party so soon, Ranma?" He didn't answer her as he averted his eyes from her. Feeling his discomfort, Nodoka puts her hand on his shoulder and asked him in a serious manner,
"Son, I am here to help you.. Please tell me what is bothering you.."
He sighed and decided to share his thoughts with at least one person, who is willing to listen to him.
"Mom, I… 'sigh' .. I couldn't buy anything for Akane this Christmas.." He said in a low voice.
"Huh! That's it? That's the reason why you have been so down lately?" He nodded his head as she said, "This is nonsense! You should've come to me for this dear.."
Ranma shook his head, saying no to her as he replied,
"She made me promise her that I won't ever borrow any money from anyone to buy her any gifts.."
"Oh! So, you didn't manage to save up enough then?"
"No, mom! I did manage!" He said almost whining.
"Then what's the problem..?!"
Ranma took some deep breaths as he began saying his tale to her in a haste,
"I was saving up for her for so long to buy her one decant gift this year.. And I have to work hard too for that.. I wanted to give her one pendant that she wanted for so long. She never told me, but I saw her outside the shop lots of times. Looking at it, asking for the price. She never knew that I saw her at that shop or the fact that I know how badly she wanted that for her. I wanted to surprise her with that, mom. And at the day of Christmas Eve, I managed to buy it for her and in my excitement to surprise her, I didn't even notice where I was giving her the gift. And before I could even give it to her, Kodachi came and snatched it from my hand with her damn ribbon and then Shampoo and Ukyo came, demanding a fight over that gift.
I tried to stop them and take that box out from them. But they all became completely insane and acted so violently over that gift. The worst part was when they tried to team up to hurt Akane if she dared to come closer to that thing. Eventually, they started fighting for it and things got out of hand. I was furious at them and was actually ready to fight them for the first time.. But, Akane didn't let me. She took me away from them and started pulling me towards the house…"
Christmas eve..
" 'Kane… 'Kane! Let me go, you tomboy.." Ranma yelled at Akane as he tried to get out of her gorilla grip.
"Keep quiet, Ranma.. You don't have to go there.." She said panting as she was having hard time tugging a resistant Ranma.
"Akane, you don't understand they took that thing… It's for you, damn it! "
At that she stopped and turned to look at him with a sorrowful eyes,
"I know that, Ranma.. And.. It's okay.. Let them have it.."
"What! How could ya say that?"
"So what do you want me to do, Ranma? You want me to go and join the fight?" Akane snapped at him.
Ranma stopped as he averted his eyes from her. Akane sighs and took a hold of his hand and said in a soft tone,
"Oh honestly, Ranma.. Don't look this distress.."
"So you are saying you are okay with them having the gift that I bought for ya?" He asked her in a sad tone as he looked at her with disappointment.
Akane smiled and said, "As long as I get to spend Christmas Eve with you, Ranma, I don't care about any gift at all.."
"But Akane.. Try 'n understand, I don't have any money left with me right now. I can't give you anything for Christmas this year if I don't go and take that thing from them."
"I don't need anything, Ranma.." She said in a low voice, "Look, I saw how much you have worked hard to buy me a gift this year. Trust me Ranma, that trying alone is more than enough for me.."
"But 'Kane.."
"Please, Ranma.. Please no more sad faces.. Let's not waste any more time worrying over that gift.. You can give me a gift later if you want.." She heard him growling in irritation but she ignored it and hooked her arms with his arm as she started cheering him up as they started heading for their house, "Hey cheer up! There are still rose day, teddy day, chocolate day…."
Present-day
They both become quiet after Ranma finishes telling her the whole story. Then after some moment Nodoka spoke up,
"Ranma, tell me, is that the pendant that I saw on Shampoo's neck?"
She turned to look at him for his answers and saw him getting rigid as his jaw tightened with rage. Nodoka sighs and said,
"Oh dear, and to think that I complimented her for that beautiful pendant as well.. She said you have given it to her as a present for Christmas.. I was shocked at first, but now I know, it's nothing but a stolen gift… Oh my son, I am really sorry for that.."
"Well that's the reason why I wanted ta leave that place as soon as I can mom. I just can't see her showing off that thing to Akane again and again. I know Akane would never complain about it, but I somehow feel that she was upset about that… And I.. I was feeling uncomfortable when I saw her wearing that. That doesn't belong to her! No! Not at all!" He finished while panting in rage.
Nodoka gave him a sympathetic pat on his shoulder as she said,
"You really want to give her something, don't you?" He nodded as she began, "Son, tell me something honestly dear, do you have any kind of romantic feelings for her?"
Ranma turned to her with surprise in his eyes as he started stuttering,
"Why you? I mean to say… uh.. Why are you asking me that out of nowhere?! Why would I have feelings for someone as tomboyish and uncute unsexy gorilla girl like her!"
Nodoka giggled hearing that and said, "Oh, so that's how you feel for her then? In that case, you shouldn't be worring about giving her anything at all.. ! And by the way, why only her? What I mean to say is if you really feel that way about her, then why do you even want to give her gifts anyways? You have lots of other good choices you know… Let them have it.." She finished with a tight smile on her face.
Ranma's mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water. He couldn't believe what his mother was telling him. Then he tried to say,
"Mom! What are ya saying?"
"I just wanted you to be honest with me, my son.."
Ranma sighs in defeat as he rested his back on the rail of the bench.. Then he said plainly,
"Mom, try 'n understand, I just can't go there and confess to her about my feelings that easily! Just look what they did with that pendant! I just can't risk Akane for anything.. They could harm her if all of them finds out that.. that.. that I I. ..I.. Mom, please I just can't.. I have to fix the fiance problem first before telling her anything.." He finished with a defeated sigh..
Nodoka smiles at that and puts her warm hand over his fisted one, as she said,
"You know son, you still have time to give her something special if you want to.. Something that won't cost you any money… And something that will be only for her and nobody can take that from her. For which you don't have to confess your feelings to her , so there will be no risk for her wellbeing as well .And on top of that, no one can steal that from her…" Hearing her genuine voice, he looked at her unexpectedly and asked her..
"Mom! What are you talking about?"
Nodoka smiles and nods in his direction as she begins to tell Ranma about her plans...
At the dojo..
"Have you seen Ranma anywhere, Kasumi?" Akane asked in a low tone as Kasumi turned to her.
"Oh my! I haven't seen him for a long time now. Last time I saw him filling his plate with food."
"Oh! Honestly! Where that baka could be..?"
"Yes! And I haven't seen Aunt Nodoka as well.. " Nabiki says while drinking some juices.
"Oh yes! Where could they be?!" Kasumi said worriedly as Akane spoke up in urgency.
"I think I should go and look for them.."
"But Akane, the countdown will begin within thirty minutes.. Can you manage to bring them on time..?" Kasumi asked in a soft tone.
Akane looked at her and nodded, "I will find them and bring them here before the countdown begins, okay?"
"Who are you searching for?"
Suddenly they heard Nodoka's voice as she came behind Akane and put her hand over her shoulder. Akane was startled to hear her voice suddenly as she asked her,
"Obasama! Where were you?"
"And where is Ranma?" Nibiki asked as she looked for his trace.
"Oh he will be here any moment now.." Nodoka said smiling.
"Oh here he is!" Suddenly Shampoo declared happily as she ran to Ranma's side. But before she could grope him, he puts his hand to stop her from hugging him fully, but she managed to hug his arm tightly. "Where you go, Airen? Shampoo miss so so much.."
"Hands off of him you bimboo.." Ukyo came and took hold of his other arm as she said, "I missed Ranchan more than you did.. Anyways, where were you honey?"
Ranma sighs and suddenly his eyes meet with Akane's concerned one. He smiled and nodded in her direction. Then, as gently as he could, he untangled his arms from them and said to them in a tight voice,
"I will really appreciate it if ya guys give me some space today.."
"Airen!"
"But Ranchan.."
"Please Ucchan.." He turned to Ukyo with his pleading eyes as she sighs and leaves him alone.
After Ukyo left, Shampoo was not ready to leave so Ranma said harshly to her,
"I still haven't forgiven ya for stealing that pendant and ya dare to lie to my mom about it too! Ya know my mother said you have to give her a good explanation for that.."
Hearing his tight voice, she gulped and left his side as fast as she could. Akane noticed all this and when she was trying to come to his side, he just smiled at her direction and started walking towards the small stage that was made for the music and dances.
Akane became so astonished when she saw Ranma went to the stage area as he puts the music off. He took the microphone in his hand and turned to the surprised guests who were staring back at him with stunned expressions..
"Sorry for the interruption guys.. I won't take too much of yar time.. " he turned to his mom who nodded at him with encouragement and then his eyes fell into Akane's wondering ones as he smiled and began saying,
"Uhh.. I wanna say something.. No scrape it.. I actually wanna confess something to Akane.."
Akane got rigid as her face flushed red in embarrassment. Soun got excited and started to encourage Ranma with his flags on his hands as the Panda Genma held up a board saying, 'about time!'
Shampoo and Ukyo both had become so furious, they were ready to go up to the stage when suddenly Nodoka came in front of them and said to them in a soft tone,
"Oh hello dears, you know something, today I have perfectly sharpened my katana. Isn't it great?" She finished as she gave them a knowing look, making them sweat as she stood in front of them, her back to them as she gave her full attention to what her son is about to say..
"Hey hey ! Don't be so excited old man, I am not gonna confess anything love related at all.." Ranma said when he felt the tension and excitement growing in the room. After his declaration, he saw Akane and the other girls sighing in relief as Soun started crying silently and his Dad held up one more board saying, 'You Coward..'
He smiled at all this and gave his full attention to Akane as he began again,
"I am sorry 'Kane, I am sorry that I couldn't manage ta give ya any gift this year.." Akane shook her head as he says again, "I know that you said you don't want any gifts from me and you'll wait for the next term. And ya can say, today is the next term. To be honest I am totally broke now and as I promised ya I haven't borrowed from anyone to give ya anything.
So, as a gift this year, I want to confess my gratitude to you in front of all these people, which I should have done long time before. I know it's simple what I am about to do but I know I had ta do it, because it really means a lot to me. From the day first , when we first met, all we did was fight tooth and nail with each other. You kept hitting me and I kept insulting you all the time.. I don't know when but, soon this became us.. Ranma and Akane, who have the most unique bonding which we address as friendship. Yes, we are friends , to be honest you are my best friend. Someone, who I can count on with my eyes closed, who never expected anything in return from me and who cared enough to ask me what I really want. Who never forced any relationship on me and made me realize the freedom I deserve, which is, trust me so new to me.
I have called ya names, insulted ya in front of others. I even dared to compare you with other girls and put ya down infront of them." He clears his creaked voice as he rapidly blinked his eyes, "but ya never left me 'kane. People called ya violent, angry and what not! They judged ya because ya hit me, but they put blindfolds on their eyes when I insult you. They never judged me for my behavior towards you, they only dared to insult you because you single handedly defend yourself. And to think that I can't blame them fully for what they said to you, only because, like you, who always fought for defending my pride, I never fought to defend your pride in front of them and I kept insulting ya. You are right 'kane, I am really an insensitive jerk.."
Ranma sighs, "At the end of the day, all say that Ranma saves the day. But have they ever noticed who the person who always saved Ranma? Hmmm let me count, but honestly, I don't know where to begin actually! When I became the weakest, thanks to Happosai, to cure me she didn't even think once to put fire on her arms and to jump on that crazy wind for the cure. When I had a bad fever and I was trying to meet my mother, you were always there for me. To deal with the fake Ranma when he tried to play with my mom for the umensenken, you didn't hesitate a bit to be that person's fake fiancé to reach him and give him my message.
You always understood the urgency of my heart, about why I always tried to meet my mom as a man. You helped me in every way you could to see my mother as a man. You never thought twice when I asked ya to discard your battle suit for me. When me and Ryoga became a kid , you were the one who took care of us and made sure we got the mushrooms in perfect inches. You took risks at the mirror mansion for me and when we were stuck at the poisonous garden, you gave me the 'talisman', which Cologne gave you to save your life, instead of using it yourself, Ya gave it to me, to save my life. And how many times, only because of me you had to face the danger, which ya never might have faced if I never came ta yar life, Kane..
And how can I forget about our recent events in jusenkyo.. Getting nannichuan is my problem to fix, but you get dragged into that situations again and again. First being drowned and getting kidnapped for me. Honestly, If ya hadn't dared to close the tab there in time, I doubt that I would stand here today and talk to all of you right now. You not only once, but three times risked your life to save me there. You even… I thought ya.." He clears his throat as he composes himself and says, " I thought I had lost ya forever, but ya came back to me. Yea even agreed to marry me to bring me the nannichuan.. It's always for me, huh.. It always frustrates me when I think, why you never think of yourself first, because that would have made my life more easier, yea know.."
Some of them took sharp breath upon hearing that from Ranma along with Nodoka. She knew tits and bits about their journey together, but she never knew the depth of this. The more she was hearing his son speaking his heart out , the more her heart was filling with gratitude for that young woman. She slowly turned to look at Akane and her heart melted with love for her. She saw her wiping silently as her eyes were locked with Ranma. Then she got surprised when she heard her son saying again,
"You know, I was right. You are a dummy. Yes, I am saying that because, after all you have to go through for me, after all that nonsense that I called you, the insensitive way I always behaved with you, you never left my side. Ya never ever complained! I don't know what is the right name for the relationship that we share. And to be honest, I don't want to give it any names. And I don't want to thank you as well. Because, I know saying thanks to you is not ya deserve. And I don't know if there is any other way to repay you for all that ya did for me.
What I mean to say is, today in front of all the guests present here, I want to confess that… that… You are really precious to me, Akane. A precious gift from Kami itself. I don't know what the future holds for us... but all I know is, I will always be grateful for having you in my life… I owe ya my life ,'Kane.. You will always be my precious tomboy.."
Ranma finished his speech and soon the room filled with claps and aws. Ranma's heart was beating rapidly as he looked at her emotional face. He smiled gently and slowly came by Akane's side, who was still wiping silently. When he reached her side , he wiped her tears tenderly with his shaky hand. Akane sighed happily and gave him a friendly hug as ranma asked her,
"Did ya like yar gift, Akane?"
She laughs a bit and said while sniffing,
"This is the best gift anyone has ever given me, Ranma. Thank you so much..."
They broke their hug quickly and held each other's hand tightly as they grinned at each other. Soon their family joined them and they all started enjoying the night and started the countdown for the beginning of a new year together….
Later that night…
"I still can't believe that you have said all this in front of all those people and no less, in front of Ukyo and Shampoo!"
Ranma turned towards Akane and saw her looking at the ceiling with an amusement expression on her face. He chuckled at her and puts his hand over her belly as he pulled her towards him. She immediately turned towards his side as she giggled and hugged his bare chest. She buried her face deeper on his chest as she took some deep breaths and said while moaning,
"Mmm You smell so good, Ranma.."
"Hey, you stole my line, tomboy!" He said smirking as she playfully slapped his chest. He took her hand which was on his chest and kissed it lovingly, then he heard her whispering,
"For a second there, I thought, you are going to.."
"Propose you?"
"Not propose, I just thought that you might say the word.." She said in a low tone while tracing circles over his chest.
"Say what?" He asked playfully as he laid down fully and pulled her up over himself. "About how much I love ya?"
She giggled as she rested her chin over his chest as she said,
"They will freak out if they ever finds out about how close friends we are actually now.."
Ranma smirked hearing that as he looked at her and said while smirking,
"Tell me 'bout it.. Heh..!" He paused for a moment as he looked at her lovingly. He tenderly puts her strand of hair behind her ear as he said with a genuine tone.
"Ya know, I was using all my power to stop myself from confessing in front of all of them about how much ya meant ta me and how much I love ya, Akane.."
Akane sighs happily as she curls up to his body and comes face to face with him. Then tracing his forehead gently with her hand, she whispered to him,
"How come I got this romantic person underneath me! Hum? I thought I got hooked up with an insensitive baka, who doesn't know how to show his romantic self at all.."
Ranma arched his brow at her as he asked her,
"Oh really!"
Akane giggled and said playfully, "Uha!"
He growled playfully as he narrowed his slits at her and hissed to her "And after all that daring thing that I said for Ya in front of all those people.. You shouldn't have said that to me at all, Ya tomboy.. You are going to get punished for even thinking of me like that .."
Saying that, he hastily changed their position as he pulled her arms up above her head and locked her in her place. Akane kept laughing softly so as not to let her voice rise. Ranma chuckled as well as he started to give tickles her on her belly. Akane's eyes went wide with surprise when she felt him tickling her, she jerked and tried to suppress her laughter with so much difficulty as she said to him in between panting and laughing,
"Ranma! Everyone will find out.."
"Let them find out! I don't care! And after today, I want them to find out…" he said in a serious manner as he stopped his tickling.
"Ranma!?" She whispers as she looks up at him.
"I know it was my idea to hide this from everyone… but Kane." He sighs as buried his face on her bare shoulder and said, "I think I can't.. I want to tell everyone that we are together now and I want to make ya mine forever.."
Akane gently traced his back as she whispered, "I am all yours , Ranma. You shouldn't be worry about that.."
Ranma sighs as he looked up at her and puts his forehead over her,
" And that's all I need… But I don't want to pretend anymore. Akane, doesn't it bother ya a bit that we are hiding this new relationship that we share?"
Akane sighed and whispered to him as she caressed his cheek lovingly, "As long as you are with me, nothing can bother me at all. It's all up to you, Ranma. If you want to hide it or declare it to the world, it's all up to you. Always remember, whatever happens I will always be by your side. I trust you with my eyes closed. You have given me the most valuable gift today, trust me I will cherish it with my heart my whole life.. I love you, Ranma Saotome…"
Ranma smiled down at her and started giving her butterfly kisses on her face as he whispers between his kisses,
"I love you too, my soon to be Mrs Saotome." He heard her giggling as he sighed and looked at her with desire filled eyes. He closed the distance between them as he captured her lips with a desperate kiss as he mumbled to her,
"You are so precious to me, Akane… I love you.."
