Hi! Welcome to my K-Pop fanfic book, 'ASTRO Fluffy Minutes'.
For those who have known ASTRO and have clicked on this book because of that, I want to say thank you for opening this book. I wish you'd have fun reading my work and simply enjoy it.
For those who are not familiar with ASTRO, I suggest you get to know them first before reading this book. I recommend you to watch 'To Be Continued' ep.1-12. You'll love it.
And listen to their music and watch their music videos.
But if you are an Aroha who's reading this, you probably can't wait to finish this note.
Though this is not the first time I've written fanfiction, this is my first time writing fanfiction about K-Pop idols.
I've done my research and have honestly enjoyed working with ASTRO in my book. But take note: any names and events similar to real life is coincedence.
Some of these events are purely fiction, only intended to entertain.
ASTRO, if you're reading this, I hope I've done some justice for you guys. You're the very first K-Pop group that I grew to love and because of you guys I got to appreciate what K-Pop music has to offer.

Chapter 1: Sick and Confession
Hay...
Who knew that my day would only be filled with hours of staring up the ceiling...?
Hi, I'm Imari. And I'm sick.
These past few days, I've been down with a cold. I've got a headache, my body feels weak, I can't do any physical work. All I can do is to sleep in bed and loiter about the room I'm stuck in.
I used to be so busy, going out of the house to work at my part-time job at the fastfood restaurant called Jollibee, house keeping at my Aunt's resthouse-for-rent, going to the market.
Now that I've got this stupid flu I can't do anything!
Collapsing on my bed, I shuffled my feet on the mattress and wondered: 'Will my life be like this forever?'
Staring up the ceiling, I rested an arm over my forehead as boredom started chewing at my white and blue pajamas.
I wanted to draw my own animé art, but I'm too tired to focus my energy and concentrate.
"Augh..." My hand started reaching to my left drawer to grab my phone and browse the internet. I opened Facebook.
Browsing through my news feed, I saw this particular fanpage that I've been following out of the blue had posted an update. A string of commercials featuring this abnormally good-looking guy.
I smirked, chuckling to myself. I clicked the video and started watching it.
Fried chicken in three different flavors, Eyewash, TikTok, clothes, you name it. He's endorsing it. It's ridiculous. I felt my jaw drop when it came to the ice cream part.
I've never felt so entertained by commercials in my life.
This guy...what's his name?
The post said, 'Cha Eun Woo'.
Who is Cha Eun Woo?
I took in his features, trying to figure out what makes him so pleasing to look at.
Is it his black hair, his dark eyes? Or his face frame, his tall height and his snow-white complexion?
He looks so perfect that he resembled a mannequin.
I looked at the comment section.
"I love you Eun Woo!"
"Oppa"
"Eun Woo my love"
"Love you Dongmin"
"So handsome"
"Honey my bebe loves"
"I love him."
"Eun Woo"
I frowned, disappointed. The comment section does not explain who he is as a person at all. I investigated further.
"His birth name is Lee Dong Min."
"He went to the Philippines before when he was in Grade 4."
"He is loyal and likes a girl who is wise, caring and intelligent."
"Cha Eun Woo is a member of a K-Pop group called ASTRO."
Reading all these information from the page, I can't help but smile until the last one I've read.
Wait, what's ASTRO?
I tried looking for videos but the videos I can find in the page are all about Cha Eun Woo, since I never thought of looking at other pages.
Eventually I found a fancam video. It showed Cha Eun Woo wearing an all-black ensemble while dancing on the stage and singing "Confession" with his group mates.
Listening to the music, I can't understand what the heck they were saying...since I know not a single word of Korean. But I have been hooked into the melody and notes of their song.
It felt bittersweet,their voices singing in nostalgic love that had me frozen on my spot.
One thing that caught my eye is what Cha Eun Woo expressed. In a glance, I can tell that he seems to be troubled, searching for something.
As if he's been stuck in a dark tunnel trying to find the light at the end.
'Does he feel...empty?' I thought to myself.
Emptiness... It was something I can relate to, since I've felt it before.
Another thing I also noticed is how the other members seem to be competing for attention.
Why?
I have no idea how life is for K-Pop groups. Everything's new to me. But man, I gotta hand it to them. They're darn good.
They're dancing in swift precision that I can't believe they were singing at all! For a second I thought they were lip-synching.
'Who is that guy? He dances with such charisma he leaves an impact to the viewers...
...Who is dat guy? I didn't notice he was short, he dances with such feeling that he appears bigger than he really looks...
...Who is DAT guy?! He sings through the bone!'
'Who is ASTRO?!'
I turned off my phone, exhausted. With my sickness, I can only last for 15 or 30 minutes of screen exposure. I'll have to wait for tommorow to watch videos again. Heck, I shouldn't even be using a gadget right now.
Laying my head back into the pillow, I stared at the ceiling once again.
'ASTRO, ASTRO, who is ASTRO? I need to do my research.'
Glancing about my bedroom walls painted pale pink, I can't forget about Cha Eun Woo's expression.
Being up on stage, appearing like he's got it all, at the top of the world...
...yet his body language exudes loneliness.
Emptiness, isolation.
Is he feeling these things? I frankly am not familiar with him, but I do know those kind of facial cues when I see one. And my heart just reaches out to him.
Why are you feeling like this, Cha Eun Woo?
Who are you?
Sleeping in my bed that lazy afternoon and my boredom replaced with anticipation for the next day, I closed my eyes, smiling to myself as I finally felt that my condition right now will start fading away.
Thanks to that melody that made my day.

ASTRO in Korea, rehearsing in Fantagio studio:
Jin Jin:(suddenly sneezes)
MJ: (sneezes after him)
Eun Woo: (sneezes after MJ)
San Ha:(puzzled) What's this? A flu or something?
Moonbin: (watches Eun Woo sneeze more after MJ and Jin Jin) Ah, maybe...someone is thinking of them.
San Ha: (turns to Moonbin) Maybe some Arohas?
Rocky: (dancing to the music) Hey, why did you guys stop? Let's keep on moving!
Jin Jin: (calms down) I felt chilly.
MJ: (rubs his nose) I think I have a cold.
Eun Woo: (sneezed two more times before stopping) Ahh...
San Ha: But if Arohas are thinking of them, Moonbin-hyung... They wouldn't be able to stop sneezing.
Moonbin: (nods) Yeah, you're right. (Grins)
