Chapter 1: Leafeon

So, during the first season of Pokémon Mating Habits, I had a bit of fun with an Eeveelution orgy and I enjoyed writing that so I decided to use them again but in a different way.

The story itself is based off of an old image series from candyfoxy on e621 called "How an Eevee Earns a Thunderstone.", however it is done with my personal flare.

In the times before Pokéballs and trainers, in the great island of Eevoula, an island filled with Eevee and its evolutions located miles west of the Alola region, an Eevee would have to go through a set of trials in order to evolve into the Pokémon that it desired.

The trials themselves took place along a trail that ran from one edge of the island to the other, in it an Eevee would have to go up against all of its evolutions and, if it succeeded, it would be granted the power to evolve.

What the trials actually consisted of was unknown and many theories spread about what it was. Some say it was some tough battle, some say challenges of physical abilities or mental strength, one thing was for sure is that any Pokémon that came out of it looked to be some sort of mess but had apparently won.

And on this day, one Eevee stood outside the entrance to the trail, anxious to get it started. This male Eevee knew it was strong, it was in fact one of the strongest Eevee in the village he grew up in, but he had hoped that it was enough to face these trials head on.

Only one Eevee could begin the trials at a time, so he was fortunate to have finally found a day where he could compete for his honor.

Eevee stood at the trail's entrance and took a few deep breaths before taking his first few steps and making his way inside.

Eevee stayed cautious as he walked along the trail, wondering when a Pokémon was going to come out and what it would be.

Welcome to the Evolution trials, here you will face myself along with the other evolutions in the Eevee evolutionary line and, if you can pass our trials, we will grant you the ability to evolve into what you wish. Do you know what Pokémon you'd like to become?"

Eevee shakes his head. "I do not, actually."

Leafeon shrugs. "Well, that's alright. I'm sure you'll figure it all out in due time. Well, I suppose we ought to just get to it. Let the Leaf Trial begin." Strangely, he didn't even stand up after saying this.

Eevee looks side to side before saying, "Uh, what am I supposed to do, exactly?"

Leafeon raises a brow to this. "Oh, no one told you? Oh, my apologies, really. Here, why don't I just get you started?"
