Jay was lucky to have a brother like Will, he helped him with everything. He had the solution for everything.
He had left some pills in the car in case of need.
The doctor knew the detective very well and knew what he needed before he even heard him speak. He knew about his PTSD and related panic attacks.
But he knew that he needed to have him near and the fact of not being able to be with him unnerved him a lot.
Thanks to the pill, the detective was much calmer.
The agitation and nervousness were still present, but he began to feel more and more calm.
They announced themselves to the guard present at the base entrance and were seated.
The two began walking down the long corridor to reach the captain's room.
Jay looked around agitated. His heart was beating hard in his chest, but fortunately he was able to control himself.
Soon they sat down and were joined by Commander Logby.
After the first pleasantries, the three began to discuss the reason for their meeting.
- After so many years we are here again,- said the commander
- Yeah,- Jay just said.
It was evident that the two knew each other.
In fact they had been in Afghanistan at some time together, then one had made a career and the other had left that world.

Then the latter took a list of names among which was that of Mouse, Jay's best friend and colleague of him for a period also in intelligence.
- Mouse died long ago after returning to Afghanistan,- Halstead said
- I'm sorry. He was such a good boy, - Logby said.
The captain later informed them of what he had discovered and his fear that there was something happening directly inside the base.
So the three took their leave and as soon as Hailey was out of the room the captain gave a letter to Jay as he greeted him asking him to open it when he was alone.
The thing was really very strange. Anyway, he took the letter and put it in his jacket pocket and then hurried to catch up with his colleague.
