Today was the big day of Bonnie and Tan's wedding. Chris and Molly had been by Bonnie's side all morning, helping her keep her nerves in check. The hair of the three ladies as well as the make up was already done. Now the big moment was there to put the bride into her dress. Bonnie's dress had the color Ivory. Her top and the thin straps were decorated with many 3D flowers. The skirt was very simple and made of silk. It flattered her figure very much and made her look like an elf. She wore a floor-length veil with it, which was also embroidered with 3D flowers at the hem. She wore small pearl colored stud earrings to match the color of the dress and a necklace around her neck that Tan had given her years ago. It was a T on which many small Swarovski stones were set. Her sandals were fine and completed the outfit perfectly.

"Oh sweetie, you look just perfect." Molly had to fight tears by now. She hugged Bonnie tightly, still whispering.
"Tan is so lucky to have you. Enjoy your day." Bonnie had to swallow before she could answer.
"Molly thank you. It means an incredible amount to me that you can be there and be with me today." she gave her best friend a peck on the cheek.
"So girls, enough with all the sentimentality. Luca should be here any minute and then we'll get going. And Bonnie, you look adorable." Chris smiled. Molly went Bonnie outside to wait for Luca and Chris headed for the beach with her garment bag.

"Hey there all good with you Tan?" Street asked as he peeked through the door of the little cottage on the beach.
"It's going like this. I'm so nervous, I can't even tie a decent knot." he pointed annoyed at the piece of silk hanging around his neck." Street had to grin and walked towards him.
"Come on buddy, I'll do it for you." he started to fiddle with it, but his hands were so shaky that even he couldn't get the knot tied. Tan raised an eyebrow.
"So you know, as my best man, you're supposed to encourage me and be calm, but right now I'm really wondering who's more nervous, you or me." now he had to laugh. Street looked at him a little helplessly and shrugged.
"I really feel like I'm about to stand in front of the wedding altar man. But wait, I know who can tie the knot for you. I'll be right back." and Street was already out the door, leaving a puzzled Tan behind.

When Chris had arrived and changed her clothes, she stood in front of the mirror and looked at herself. She could hardly believe she was really wearing something like that. She turned to one side, then to the other.

Now Bonnie and Tan's big day is finally here. The two of them will have their dream wedding. At this thought, Chris smiled contentedly.

Damn, why am I so excited? All I have to do is stand at the altar and look happy. But in this outfit? I feel so insecure... When was the last time I wore an outfit like this? I don't think ever. And then there's Street too, oh god... He's going to look so stunning in his suit and with his smile. I have to control myself, I can't stare at him, come on Chris, get a grip.

She took a deep breath and surveyed herself again in disbelief. She was wearing a royal blue knee length dress. The top was completely finished with lace and had three-quarter length sleeves. A beautiful, but not too deep V - neckline made it complete. The skirt was made of chiffon, was in wrap look and had a very small slit on the left thigh. Chris had immediately liked this dress best when she was out with Bonnie. Her shoes were silver, very fine, dainty sandals with a small heel, just high enough that Chris could still feel comfortable and walk well in them.

There was a knock at the door. "Yes?" Chris turned and saw Street standing in the doorway. He beamed at her coupled with an incredulous, slightly shocked look. Chris looked at him and was immediately nervous again.
"Do I look that awful?" she asked, unsure. He walked up to her and continued beaming. "You look beautiful Chris. I'm going to have a really hard time not staring at you the whole time and not forgetting my lines." he took her hands in his, he could see exactly how nervous and unsure she was.
"Hey," he said softly, squeezing her hands, "you're perfect Chris. Don't be afraid, I'll be by your side the whole time and together we'll get through this. We'll do our job so well that Bonnie and Tan can enjoy their day today the way they deserve." he pulled her into a hug. His words touched her deeply, but she had to put her own feelings to the back of her mind. She wanted to talk to Street and tell him how she felt, but not today. As soon as Chris felt the warmth radiating from Street, she calmed down. She relaxed and took a deep breath. Yes, only Jim Street had that ability. In his arms and his presence she felt safe and complete.
"Oh ehm by the way, I need your help with Tan for a minute. We can't get the tie tied." Street looked at her apologetically. Chris had to laugh.
"Well, let's go before the poor guy has another heart attack."

Street now returned with Chris, who was grinning as soon as she entered the room. "So guys, you know how to handle guns, but neither of you can manage to tie a tie? Unbelievable." she was still laughing and shaking her head. "Well come here, I can't let you get married like this."
"Chris you are the best and my salvation."
"Bonnie is already ready and waiting for it to start and I can reassure you Tan, she is as nervous as you are." smiled Chris again. It didn't take her 2min and the tie knot was sitting like a one. She tugged a little more on the shirt collar and now looked at him. "You can go like this." Street looked at Tan.
"Wow what a difference a suit like that makes. It's a lot different than our work clothes." now he turned to Chris.
"Thanks for your help." he smiled at Chris and that immediately warmed her heart. She looked at Street and almost lost herself in his eyes. She had to control herself and quickly cleared her throat before Street, or worse, Tan, noticed anything.
"You're welcome." said Chris, tucking her hair behind her ear a little sheepishly.

The entire wedding guests were already sitting on their chairs on the beach. The weather could not have been better, the sun was beaming with Tan. The whole way to the altar was decorated with beige lanterns, in which were royal blue candles and different colored shells. The chairs were white and had beautiful flower wreaths on the backs, also in beige and royal blue.

Tan and Street were already standing in the front enjoying the view of the ocean, Chris on the side where Bonnie would be standing later. The sound made the three of them take a breath and relax. Tan kept nervously bobbing up and down on his feet and folding his hands together. Street and Chris had been watching this process for a while now.

"Hey Tan everything ok?" looked Street at his friend slightly concerned. Tan looked over at Street and just shook his head. Chris came over to the two, took Tan by the arm and led him a bit away from the location and the guests.
"What's wrong Tan?" Chris frowned and looked to Street.
"Shit man I'm excited. I - uhm - I feel like I'm about to keel over." Tan held onto Street's shoulder.
"Come here, sit down."
"What, no! Not in the sand, my suit..." he said indignantly. Street and Chris rolled their eyes.
"You'd rather keel over in front of everyone?" Chris asked him. Tan shook his head again.
"So, sit down." Street ordered.
"What if Bonnie doesn't show up? She should be there by now, right?" he looked at Street, looking kind of helpless. He, in turn, looked at Chris.
"Don't worry. Luca will bring her here shortly, I'm sure of it. It's our Luca, isn't it?" Street laughed and Chris agreed, but inside the two were also uneasy, for Bonnie was really overdue.

Shortly after Street spoke, the Black Betty sped around the bend. A running Luca gave a quick wave to the three and opened the passenger door. Bonnie's father stepped out. He tugged his suit into place before helping his daughter out of the car.

When Tan saw Bonnie, his nervousness was completely gone. Everyone ran to their positions and looked at the beautiful bride as she walked down the aisle, escorted by her father.

When Bonnie reached Tan, her father handed her over to Tan in the proper manner, saying, "Always treat her well and take care of my girl." Bonnie had tears in her eyes by now and Tan had to struggle as well.
