Chapter one:

People enter your life at some point or another and then they just leave.

Sometimes they give you a reason or you figure it out like that the two of you became distant going down different paths.

... However...

Sometimes you may never find out the real reason as to why a person leaves you.

They just seem to leave you no matter how close you are.

Unfortunately me and Hikaru have secretly been drifting apart.

Haruhi has been hanging out with him more often and for some reason things seem to have me and Hikaru become distant.

It's strange and I personally don't like it but I don't want to ruin whatever happiness he probably has found.

So I'll remain quiet.

Tonight he's gone doing some studying with her.

It's a nice night out so perhaps I'll head outside for a bit.

I grab my black jacket since I'm wearing my black school pants but I changed into a navy blue tight fitting t-shirt. I begin walking stuffing my hands into my jacket pockets.

The moon is full shining brightly in the sky. The darkness splattered with glittering stars is a blanket around the moon.

The air chilled but done so just right to make it nice.

I take a deep breath through my nose picking up on the crisp air.

It truly is a beautiful night.

I'm not fully sure where I am heading but it's nice to enjoy the night when it's as wonderful as now. I continue on walking then turn as a group is sitting at a picnic table that I am about to pass by, by a park. I can hear some of their words.

"There is no way they'll try something like that again." One mentions slightly leaning forward against the table part of the picnic table that they are sitting at.

"Not after what we've done to show them that we really don't accept them trying such things." Another chuckles in agreement clearly having some enjoyment in whatever they had done to whoever they are talking about.

I start to turn away to continue on my way though I only get about halfway before pausing as I realize that one of them has noticed me.

"Hey. Who are you?" The one that has noticed call out to me in which the rest turn their attention to look right at me.

I stop my walking and turn to face them fully. "I'm no one. I'm just taking a walk. That's all." I take a step back as they get up though they are soon surrounding me.

They gaze me as I try to figure out a way to escape.

I don't know what their intentions are after all.

One snorts clearly able to read my face as if it is giving away my thoughts. "We won't hurt you unless you prove to be a threat to us." He has brown silky looking straight light brown hair that has short bangs swept to the left, his hair around the rest of his head is long enough to cover his ears, he has guarded looking green eyes, he is wearing a dark red t-shirt, jeans, and black runners.

"I won't tell anyone about meeting you." I try to promise with the hopes that they will let me go and not do anything to me.

The one that had spoken to me tilts his head as he regards me for a few moments. "So. You just need time away from someone? You like going for walks alone? Or do you have some place to be?"

I figure that my best chance to get out of this situation is to be honest with them. I fear what they might do to me if I lie to them. I don't know who they are or what they are capable of being able to do. "I just was going for a walk to enjoy the outside. My brother is hanging out with a friend of ours more so I figured that I'd just go for a walk alone." I find myself blinking as the one that I had been speaking to has his gaze soften as I make sure that they know I'm telling the truth.

"I understand that feeling." He informs me to my surprise. "My sister met an old friend of mine and since then they preferred to hang out with each other. I lost my friend to her." He then offers a hand for me to shake in greeting. "The name is Razzy."

"Kaoru." I take his hand and we share a gentle shake. I pull my hand away after that and I happen to notice those around me relax, as well as move to no longer surround me.

They go to be closer to Razzy showing that I am no longer considered a threat to them.

"That's a nice name." Razzy places his hands on his hips giving me a smile like he has gone from hostile to friendly when I flicked the right switch. "Say, since you'll probably have more time on your hands. If my experience has taught me anything. Say do you wanna be our friend? We would never leave you behind."

I almost want to refuse their offer though then I start to think about it. I really have felt like I have been drifting apart from my friends. I have especially found this to be true with how much Hikaru and Haruhi have been hanging out. I start to think that maybe it is time that I try to make some new friends. So that way I don't always feel alone with how things seem to be changing. I know that the host club will probably still count me as a friend, though there is nothing that says I can't have friends outside of them. Plus I am kind of curious about them. "I can try it." I agree making them look pleased to this.

Razzy puts an arm around my shoulders while still smiling at me. "Don't you worry Kaoru. You won't regret this." He promises then starts to gesture to the others. "Let me introduce you to the others who are here currently myself." He points to a tall slim man with black hair pulled back into a small ponytail and blue eyes. "That there is Kira." He then points to a shorter male with golden blonde hair that goes to his jawline and brown eyes. "That is Kai." He moves on to a male with black hair that is rather short though a bit longer on the top and dark brown eyes. "That is Mosu." He points to a male with dark brown hair that is in a pixie cut style and bright blue eyes. "That there is Oshan." He gets to the last member of the group that happens to be there currently. He points to a male with black hair that is a little curly and is long enough on the sides to barely cover his ears, though not his eyes, and his eyes are a pretty silver color. "And finally we have Asahi."

They all give me a wave or nod of greeting as they are introduced.

"It is nice to meet you all." I respond with a nod of greeting wondering just what kind of things we will end up getting up to together as friends.

In the meantime…

Hikaru walks around the mansion trying to locate his brother. He had finished hanging out with Haruhi and wanted to tell his brother all about the hang out. He frowns as he finds no trace of his brother. He really has no idea where the other could have gone off to. He tries to shrug it off and goes to watch some TV figuring that Kaoru is bound to show up at some point anyways.
