Hello everyone. Here is chapter 15 of this story. I hope that you will enjoy it. :)

After she had entered the confessional cabinet of the church, Alaina sat in the box next to father Simon's right side. They both sat in deep silence for a few minutes, knowing it is going to take some time before either of them could gather the courage to be the first one to speak. They both have been dreading this for a while now, especially when it's clear to them that they both have something to confess to each other or at least one of them will.

Alaina has known father Simon for nearly all of her adult life, he has been an important mentor to her in the church. He had taught her the rights and wrongs in life, including on what to do in relationships with this eventually leading to Alaina falling love with Adriana a day later. She was surprised he'd accepted the relationship, due to the fact she knows he is a conservative who's beliefs often clashed with her own from time-to-time every week.

She began to happily date her girlfriend Adriana for months, when she ultimately decided to propose marriage to her. She took her girlfriend on another date one day, before she had slowly went onto one knee before asking her if she would to do the honors of becoming her wife. Adriana was completely touched by this gesture, she had some tears rolling down her cheeks until she accepted the marriage proposal as well as giving her now-fiancee a kiss.

What they didn't know was that father Simon had seen it all, although he wasn't upset by the fact his student is happy. He surprised his student by giving his blessing, which had caught Alaina off-guard for a moment until she happily gave father Simon an happy and grateful hug. Alaina was ultimately touched by father Simon, when he decided to preside over her wedding to Adriana as the officiant with him pronouncing them both as wife and wife.

Father Simon is revealed to be an elderly male Scarlet Macaw, who numerous grey feathers all over his mostly red body. He also has a lot of sleep bags under his eyes, along with lots of crinkles on his face with this showing his age as he shook a few times too while in the cabinet. He also has Green eyes before he closed them, in order to wait for Alaina to take her seat in the cabinet before he opened his eyes as he begins to start the conversation.

"Hello my child, I'm glad that we can talk to each other again" said Simon as he acknowledged Alaina. "Also, something it's clearly troubling you".

"Hello father, I'm just here for my annual confession session" said Alaina as she begins to take a deep breath. "Yes, something has trouble me, father".

"Is it about the kid?, something about her is distressing you" said Simon as he finally turns his head to Alaina. "She'd reminded you of your daughter?".

"Yes she does, also she doesn't even know she has a cousin" said Alaina as tears begin to bubble in her eyes. "I wish that I didn't send her way at all".

"It's not your fault, she needed to go for her own protection" said Simon as he tries his best to comfort Alaina. "You will see her again, I just know it".

"Yeah, that's my hope, I just want to see my own daughter" said Alaina as her tears stream down her cheeks. "I just want to see Emily, to hold her".

"That's the first time, I have heard you use that very name" said Simon as he smiles proudly at Alaina herself. "I haven't heard that name for years".

"Yeah, well, it's been something that I have struggled with" said Alaina as she turns to face her proud mentor. "I'll never forget her, she is my child".

"I know you won't, you just have to keep on believing, kid" said Simon as he looks straight into Alaina's eyes. "Have faith my child, keep believing".

Alaina nods her head in understanding towards her mentor, before she leaves her box in order to go see Adriana again. She had a proud smile on her face as she left, knowing it is because of father Simon's understanding of her problem that has caused her to feel more positive. She breathes a sigh of some much needed relief, until she finds herself in a tight hug by her wife before they went to the church's rooftop to enjoy an romantic evening.

While Alaina is going to enjoy some alone time with Adriana, father Simon is still in his box in the confessional cabinet. He is holding onto a photo of a female macaw, who has a yellow slender body as well as green eyes that he just couldn't bring himself to take his own eyes off. He looks at the photo with an small sad smile, until he soon felt all of his tears forming in his eyes as he tries to hold them back only to eventually let the tears stream down his face.

He wipes his tears away before finally getting out of the box, only to fall to his knees before crying into the floor itself. He cries for a few minutes until he calms down, which has given him the chance to regain his composure before he finally decided to go over to the altar to pray. He knows that praying has always comforted him, so he kneels on his own knees before clasping his wings together in order to pray to his god to protect Alaina and Emily.

After he was done kneeling and praying for his own student, he got back to his feet to see a young couple enter the room. He smiles at the young happy couple, who consist of a male and female with the two nodding as well as smiling at father Simon who responds with a smile. He welcomes them both proudly with open wings, before he guides them to their seats as he welcomes a male same-sex Harpy Eagle couple before guiding them to their seats.
