To all Assassins around the world
UPDATE ON THE TRIAL OF ELIZABETH KELLAN, FORMER MENTOR OF THE ASSASSINS
July 6th, 1865; 8:45 PM
As of last night, at the stroke of midnight on the Fifth of July, in the Year of Our Lord, 1865, the High Council of International Assassin Mentors has found High Mentor Elizabeth Kellan guilty of treason against the Assassin Brotherhood and the United States Government. Evidence had been brought forth, bravely, by fellow Assassin Margaret Lealan of New York on the tenth of May. The seasoned Assassin had, after chasing down President Abraham Lincoln's assassin, discovered an intricate plot between the Grand Master of the Templars and the Mentor of the Assassin Brotherhood. While the Mentor has refused to divulge the details of her plan and the Inquest can't find anything else in regards to this charge, the other three charges (SEE BELOW) stuck and the High Council sentenced Kellan to death by hanging at dawn on the seventh of July.
CHARGES AGAINST DIANA ELIZABETH KELLAN
CHARGE ONE: ACCUSED OF CONSPIRING TO ASSASSINATE PRESIDENT LINCOLN AS WELL AS CONSORT WITH THE GRAND MASTER TO START THE SOUTHERN INSURGENCY (Pleaded Guilty)
CHARGE TWO: SEEN IN PUBLIC AND OVERHEARD BY SEVERAL PEOPLE NOT CONNECTED IN ANY WAY TO THE ASSASSINS DISCUSSING HER PLOTS (Pleaded Guilty)
CHARGE THREE: KNOWINGLY CONSORTING WITH THE GRAND MASTER OF THE TEMPLARS AND PUTTING THE ASSASSIN BROTHERHOOD IN DANGER (Pleaded Guilty)
