A/N: As I'm writing this, I realize I forgot to describe what Kisho's Hero costume is. It's similar to Kirishima's, but there's nothing from the waist up, his feet are bare, and it's completely black.
As he re-enters the viewing room, Kisho can't help but smirk at the reactions he's getting from his classmates. Kirishima runs up to him, brimming with excitement "Dude! That was so manly! You went back to help your teammate instead of leaving them hanging, my manly spirit is in overdrive!"
Kisho chuckles at the antics of his classmate, "Thanks, I always make it a point to be there for my friends when I can." Suddenly, Kisho's senses perk up as a wave of lecherous malice floats his way. Turning, the teen can see that the aggression is coming from one of his classmates, a short kid with orb-like purple hair who he recalls is named Mineta. Said boy is muttering to himself, which Kisho picks up on, such wondrous lines are uttered like, "Lucky bastard!", and, "Why can't I be that close to Yaoyorozu's chest?"
In the blink of an eye and a rush of wind, Kisho is suddenly standing in front of the other teen, glaring down at him. The taller boy's lips peel back as he lets out a growl that could intimidate a Russian bear, his eyes faintly glowing, faint streams of the color fading behind him. Kisho leans down into Mineta's face before speaking, "Utter one more line that could, in any way, be construed as perverted, see what happens." For improved results Kisho raises his hand and activates his quirk up to the shoulder, letting the claws hang in front of Mineta's face.
The smaller of the two teens has a look of absolute terror on his face before suddenly, he falls backwards, unconscious. Kisho turns around confused as he suddenly hears cheering behind him. When his gaze is fully turned, he's met with the sight of all the girls in the class… celebrating?
His confusion must be obvious, because one of them, a pink skinned girl named Ashido, steps forward to explain, "Thanks for that! Mineta's been an annoyance to all of us with his perverted shenanigans, so you just scored major points with all us girls!"
A tall and stern looking teen in a suit of white armor, who Kisho believes is named Iida, sighs and shakes his head, "I cannot condone your actions, as I find threatening others reprehensible, but Mineta's behavior is unacceptable!"
Kisho smiles lightly and chuckles, "well now, I knew he might be unpopular all things considered, but I wasn't expecting to be praised for scaring the life out of him." The boy's smiles takes on a sad tone, "Usually people see me do something like that and are terrified I'll go after them."
Kisho turns as he feels a large hand lightly clap him on the shoulder, only to see it's the big man symbol of peace himself, "Take heart young Ikarashi! You may have had difficulties on the road here, and I can't promise it'll get any easier, but now you won't have to bear your burdens alone! These young men and women here will not judge you, nor turn you away, for that would be antithetical to their ideals! Everyone here wishes with all their heart to be a hero, so look forward to your bright future with them!"
Kisho's smile widens, though he shows no teeth, "Thanks All Might, it's been a while since I've heard words like that." In the boy's mind, a thought echoes out, 'Now if only I could bring myself to believe them…'
As the other matches are set to go on, Kisho goes and sits against a wall in the back, relaxing his breathing and closing his eyes to meditate. The world around him fades out, and all that he perceives is the gentle rhythm of his own breathing. For a few blissful moments, Kisho can fully relax.
That peace, however, does not last. A voice calls out in Kisho's mind, 'Why did you hesitate? You could have removed that hindrance with ease.' Kisho lets out a mental sigh, 'The last time I listened to anything you had to say, I got thrown in a cage. I'm on thin ice here, and I'm not all too excited to go back.' The other voice in his head lets out a growl, 'I only wish us to live as kings among men, a mighty beast that commands respect!' Kisho visibly scowls, his frustration steadily building, No, what you want is for people to fear me. You saw how other people treated me when I first got my Quirk, and you immediately decided that all humans that aren't me are just cowards that need to be "put in their place", not a very good look for either of us.'
Kisho's introspection is interrupted when he hears approaching footsteps, cracking an eye open he observes who it is, Yaoyorozu. Fully opening his eyes, Kisho lets out a yawn as he faces his classmate before gesturing to the spot on the wall beside him.
As the girl sits next to him, Kisho decides to strike up the conversation, "So, are you doing alright? I went a bit overboard with some of my attacks and I'd rather not have hurt you", a sheepish look crosses the boy's face, "I have a bit of trouble gauging the power of my attacks, so holding back can be a bit difficult." Yaoyorozu shakes her head, "I am quite alright, but thank you for the concern. I came to ask about something that's been bothering me since you've come here. How are you faring? I've noticed that whenever you believe no one is looking at you, you seem to get lost in thought, and judging from your facial expressions none of them are good."
Kisho looks up to the ceiling and sucks in a deep breath through his teeth, 'Oh boy, how to explain this?' His gaze comes back down, but his eyes are slightly unfocused, as if staring into space. He speaks after a near minute of silence, "In my life, I've had a lot of time to think. I'm sure you know by now that I wasn't in the best of places for someone our age before I came here." That was an understatement. After being asked by his friends, Kisho relayed the story of where he'd been locked up for three and a half years, but couldn't tell them why. His confinement was no secret, but the reasoning was kept obfuscated for the protection of certain individuals, including Kisho himself.
Kisho continues speaking with Yaoyorozu, "Being where I was, I didn't get all too many chances to really speak freely with people. That gave me a lot of time to myself, and I spent it thinking. The sad part about thinking is that, eventually, you run out of good things to think about, especially in a place like that." Kisho sighs and stands up, "Well, I think I'll go watch the matches now, see you around." With that, he leaves Momo to contemplate his words.
