I became a cat
I woke up, there was warm sunshine against me. There were huge green leafy trees. I must be dreaming, I thought.
I looked sleepily at my hands, they were covered in fluffy midnight blue fur, with light pink jelly-like things that dogs or cats have.
It's probably the dream, I thought. Then, I started to get conscious. I turned into a cat! This was the best dream ever! I never wanted to wake up now, there were so many things I wanted to do as a cat!
I wanted to groom myself, hunt for mice, and… and… I was getting so excited, I wanted to do all the things that my favorite book series, Warriors does!
Suddenly, I heard rustling in the bushes. I ran towards it, I soon realized this wasn't a dream, thanks to a bump in my head.
"Who's there?" yowled a voice. It felt very normal, but soon, I realized that I could understand what this cat was saying. OMG! I thought.
The cat who called me was a golden tom with amber eyes. That description reminded me of a cat in the series…
"Lionblaze! What's wrong?" asked another cat.
"I have found a cat in our territory" mewed Lionblaze.
Yep! That was all the proof I needed, Lionblaze? Turning into a cat? Not a dream? I have somehow found myself in ThunderClan territory, or should I say the Warrior World.
"UhhhHHHhh…. I want to join your Clan!" I meowed, not knowing what to do.
"Well, I'll take you to Firestar," mewed Lionblaze, still alert of her. Firestar? Didn't he die in the series? Oh, it must be early, I thought.
"What's your name?" Lionblaze asked.
"UhhhhHHHhhh…" I started, I couldn't tell these cats my real name! They would either think she was crazy or laugh at her if they didn't claw her ear off first! Then, I suddenly thought of a warrior fanfic I wrote, I'll use one of their characters!
"Starrypaw'' I mewed.
"Okay, we'll escort you back to camp. The cat who came shortly after Lionblaze, looked as if she were Ivypool.
Lionblaze, Ivypool, and I got to camp. I stopped at a puddle to see how I looked, I looked beautiful, unlike my appearance as a human. I had silky midnight blue fur, and my eyes were between deep sea blue and fern green. I'll ignore that for now, I decided.
"Firestar! We have someone to show you!" Lionblaze yowled.
Firestar came out of his ro- den.
"Who is this?" asked Firestar.
"My name is Starrypaw. I'd like to join ThunderClan." I mewed simply. Then, I realized my mistake, Keep your mouth shut!, I scolded myself.
"Lionblaze, have you said anything to this cat?" Firestar asked.
"No" Lionblaze looked as puzzled as Firestar was.
"Uhh… The Clans have grown popular with loners and kittypets, we now tell our kits the story of the Clans." I mewed quickly. Pathetic excuse! How will I answer if they ask me how the kittypets and loners knew in the first place? I thought to myself, then I found out I used the word "kittypet". I scolded myself some more.
"Well, you may join ThuderClan." mewed Firestar. What?, I was surprised at the tom's words, I never thought anyone would believe that! Never mind a Clan leader who was wise and calm in the series!
"Umm… Okay…" I mewed. I saw that the leader had never believed her, he was a former kittypet, of course, he wouldn't turn her down!
" Also, in that case, I want to be a medicine cat. Can I? I can be very religious if I have, and I'll be very loyal to StarClan, I know, I know, I'm not Clanborn, but look at you! A kittypet can be a Clan leader! Why not a medicine cat? I know a lot of herbs, well, I'm not sure how they look, but, I know the names and what they're for! Like, Cobwebs for bleeding, thyme for shock, juniper berries for bellyaches, watermint for stomach aches, poppy seeds to ease pain, bring sleep, and shock, mouse bile for ticks, borage leaves for fever and bringing a queen's milk…" I went on and on.
Usually, when you go on, and on, and on, they'll give you what you want just to keep your mouth shut.
"... Comfrey for mending bones, Coltsfoot for easing breathing, Marigold for infections, honey to soothe your throat, dock for…" Wow! Firestar's strong!, I thought. I know many herbs, I have read a lot of Warrior books, and I memorized the herbs.
Finally, Firestar agreed for me to be a medicine cat. I was soooOOOOooooOOoo excited! I'm a major fangirl for Jayfeather.
I got my name.
"Hi!" I greeted Jayfeather. He grunted. Grumpy, I thought.
" I'm so excited to be a medicine cat! And especially be apprenticed to you! You can walk in other cat's dreams, read my thoughts!" I was so excited that I hadn't realized I'd blown my cover.
"Wait, how do you know that?" asked Jayfeather.
Uh oh, I can't tell him I read it from a book! I thought. " Uh, StarClan sent me a dream…" I mewed, What a pathetic excuse! I thought.
"How much do you know?" Jayfeather demanded.
"That you, Lionblaze, and Dovewing is in a prophecy given to Firestar that goes: There will be three, kin of your kin, who has the power of stars in their paws; that you have found out by walking into Firestar's dream, you have been to the Ancients, thanks to Rock, and had grown a relationship with a she-cat named Half Moon, and you have a magical stick, you are friends with Fallen leaves, Hollyleaf has gone to the tunnels to escape the Clans, you have dealt with Sol, who wants revenge because of SkyClan…" I went on and on, all until the Broken Code.
"I'll call Lionblaze and Dovewing. I'm sure they will want to discuss stuff with you." mewed Jayfeather.
"Okay." I mewed.
