Lou Ellen had a bad idea... but it was going to be funny!
Lou changed her mind, this was a great idea. She had over head Cabin 6 talking about how to make such a life like ghost that it would actually make even the most fearsome of demigods like Heracles pee their pants.
And she got an amazing idea of how to make someone look like a zombie from a show she watched as a kid.
Then it wasn't that hard to make a mummy, it was pretty straight forward honestly.
She could also convince her Cabinmates that she was a vampire no problem!
Lou Ellen had a reputation of being the prankster of Cabin 20, this reputation is what got her kick out of 6 public schools and 9 private (Seriously those guys have no sense of humor!) And the head councilor of her Cabin, Mathew, was always on the verge of killing her.
But this... this idea was too good to resist!
So when everyone went to the campfire that night she feined illness, and got to work.
Put the gigantic pot of beef stew unbalanced on the highest beam right under where Nadia sleeps.
Use her magic to make the roles of toilet paper wrap around Mathew when he gets too close to his bunk.
Put the projection of the ghost under Sammy's bed.
Hide the sound maker in the closet.
Ungrease the door hinges, put an infinite darkness spell on the cabin.
Get into costume, and stick her shoes to the beam on the back, the triggers for her pranks in her hands.
30 minutes she was ready, and another 10 later her siblings were back.
"Lou?" Her brother Calvin pushed open the door.
"Sis?" Brooklyn asked to the room.
"Why in the heck is it so dark in here." Zach tried to cast a light spell, but it had no effect. "Weird..."
This was her time! She pressed the button and the bandages wrapped around Mathew. She kicked the beam and the stew fell on Nadia. She pulled the trigger and the ghost came to life, the sound lining up perfectly with it's movements.
Suddenly her siblings were screaming and running around hiding behind each other and stuff.
Now... it's time for the big finally!
She kicked her shoes off landing on the floor infront of Brooklyn. Who screamed and tried to turn her into a rabbit.
All Lou did was laugh manically, and chase after her.
Finally Mathew got the bandages off himself, and grimaced at what was going on.
"LOU ELLEN STOP THIS INSTANT!" He roared.
Uh-oh.
While everyone else was still shaking, Lou took off her black cloak, and was turning the lights back on, while turning off her effects, and vanishing the stew covering Nadia.
"Wait... so... this was all Lou?" Calvin asked. "Then I-I wasn't scared!" He convinced no one, not even himself, of the fact.
"Apologize." Mathew growled.
Lou stuck her tongue out at him.
"Now." He said cooly. "Or no desert for a month instead of a week, which is going to be your punishment already."
Lou muttered something about him being a jerk, but did as he said. "I'm sorry." There was nothing sincere about that apology.
"Thank you... now clean all of this up while we get ready for bed."
"Yes, sir." She growled stomping off to clean up after the mess her siblings had made in their terror.
But in all honesty Lou Ellen was happy, she didn't miss mortal school, or her family. They didn't understand her.
She had a new family here, with Mathew, and Calvin, and Sammy, and Nadia, and Brooklyn, and Zach! She loved it here.
