Please, please forgive me

But I won't be home again

Maybe someday you'll look up

And, barely conscious, you'll say to no one

Isn't something missing?

Missing by evanescence. I got an idea that each verse could switch between davey and calypso and I thought I would explore it. This is Calypso's first verse.

Calypso, the great goddess of the sea, who ever thought she would fall in love with a mortal man. She never did think she would. After all mortals weren't around for very long, they always grew old and died. If mortals weren't struck down, by war, disease, or famine, old age claimed them every time. Mortals had their uses though. She had her needs just like any other woman. Calypso was an extremely seductive creature who cast an enticing but tangled net. She had many lovers through the years. She would tell them what they wanted to hear but never cared what happen to them. How could she? Mortals always died. It was better not to get attached. All that changed when she met Davey Jones. One of the greatest sailors she had ever seen. She didn't notice it at first. It happened slowly over time. She couldn't pinpoint the moment when she had fallen in love with him. She was so used to being detached with her mortal lovers. In time she realized, she couldn't bear to watch Davey die. She had watched so many others die but their deaths never really bothered her. She decided to charge him with the duty of ferrying those who died at sea to the other side. Calypso and Davey would be together forever. The only downside was Davey could only come on land every 10 years to be with her. What is ten years but a blink of an eye when it came to eternity? However, Calypso was as fickle and unpredictable as the domain she ruled over. She wasn't there to meet Davey when his first 10 years were over. She knew this would break Davey's heart. "Please Please forgive me but I won't be home again" Calypso thought that fateful day. She hoped the Davey would forgive her since he knew her nature. Davey never would have loved her if not for her uncontrollable and unpredictable nature. She didn't foresee what happened next. Davey turned cruel and heartless. Davey was not the man she fell in love with. There was something missing in him now. "Maybe someday you'll look up. And, barely conscious, you'll say to no one. Isn't something missing?" Calypso thought. She hoped that the man she fell in love with was still in him somewhere. She hoped he could find the missing pieces within himself again.

Done all done

Wrote that in about an hour. Trying to get my writing skills back. There's 3 or 4 more verses. I think I'll make this a multi chapter thing. If I can figure out how to do it. lol
