A shadow flits through the snow terrain. The sound of gunshots echoed in the night running from the people chasing the shadow, trying to shoot the shadow with bullets and darts to slow the shadow down. Some of the bullets have gotten through the shadow's body and managed to dodge the darts.

The shadow came to a stop at the edge of the cliff. The clouds move past the moon, revealing the light on the snowy land. The shadow was actually a black-haired girl with the injuries on her body. She heard them getting closer and closer. With only option she have, she jumped off the cliff and dived into the water. She went under the icy water and grabbed the rock to hold on. The black-haired girl sensed them looking for her and their auras felt angry as they wouldn't find her and presumed that the girl will not survive from the cold. They left as she popped her head out of the water, gasping and shivering from the cold and blood loss. She murmured a few words and slipped into the darkness, not feeling something grabbed her.

-New Orleans-

A black canine appeared out of nowhere with a injured girl on his back landed on his feet. They are in the land that belonged to her mother's side of the family covered by the spells that repelled humans and anyone with magical or deity bloodlines. It has a small mansion, a stable, small plot for gardening and greenhouses, and a swimming pool.

The canine went inside the mansion which it has the mix of Ancient Japanese and Chinese style interior that felt homely and not extravagant. He placed in the bed and covered her in the blankets. He pressed his paw on the floor as the dark magic circle appeared. A male with short amber hair hair and dark silver hair wearing a black T-shirt, jeans, and a doctor's coat appeared with medical box in his left hand.

"What the hell happened here?" The doctor cursed as he take out the tools from the box.

"Three things happened, Bai."The canine replied. "That organization, damn crazy scientist fucked up the twins' bodies, and not to mention a shitty goat fucking around where he shouldn't be poking his nose into."

Bai's face twitched as he moved the blankets off her body and quickly cut the wet clothes off her. He removed the bullets from the wounds on the left shoulder, righ side of the stomach, left hip, and right ankle. He applied the salve, dressed the wounds, and placed the clean blanket on her. He sat down on the chair.

"Tell me, Zo." Bai asked. "What are the orders from Madam Saito?"

"Get training for twins. Wolf and Dog get training. Find the twins' friends. Keep the eye on the old fool." Zo replied. "Madam Saito want the twins to be trained by the people Hotaru and Cathal used to know."

Bai glanced at the sleeping girl and nodded in understanding. He grabbed his box and vanished into thin air. Zo looked at the girl and laid down to sleep.

Few days later, the girl finally woke up and slowly pushed herself up, wincing from the pain. Zo looked through the opened door and saw the girl has finally woke up.

"Hello, Aine." Zo spoke, catching her attention.

The girl now is called Aine turned her head to look at her summon.

"Where am I?" Aine asked.

"New Orleans." Zo replied.

"I see. What's your name and I apologize for being rude. What are you as well?" Aine asked.

"Not a problem. I am a Royal Ice Wolf and my name is Zo." Zo replied, a gleam of concern in the bright lilac eyes.

Aine tilted her head in agreement and let out a sigh, feeling deep pain in her body. Aine got out of the bed and wandered over to the shoji screen doors, looking outside with a tired expression on her face.

"Zo, are Ash still in New Orleans?" Aine asked.

Zo nodded as she sat down on the chair.

"I want my brother and uncles come and stay at new Orleans." Aine spoke.

Zo nodded.

"I'm going to see Madam Saito." Zo said as he vanished into air.

Aine glanced at the full moon, a sad smile flitted across her face and gone in the next.

"Wait for me. I will see all of you soon." Aine said. "So are you, brother."
