Prologue
Planet Vegeta; age 735
Two figures, both encased in darkness, one carrying a sphere, hurry across the field.
"Hurry it up!" the male figure states. "We don't have much time!"
"I know!" says the female figure. "I'm coming!"
As the female figure finally arrives, the male figure puts the sphere down.
"We don't have much time, so I'm setting this pod on auto-pilot." the male figure states.
"Okay," states the female figure, "I just...want to say goodbye first." she says with a heavy heart.
"...Alright, but we need to make it quick." the male figure says.
As they say their goodbyes to the little figure inside the pod, they send it off, far away from the evil tryant's grasp. And as the little one inside looks out of the pod, a gas fills inside, causing the little one to fall into a deep sleep. So deep that he didn't wake up to see the darkness surrounding him or to the fireworks in front of him.
Toki Toki city; age 840
What a hard, and long day it had been for Danver. He loved being a Time Patroller, but it was tiring. Being a "underdog", he was given the most boring of tasks, and sometimes would see something remotely exciting. His days consisted of checking all of the time scrolls, and reporting back anything and everything he sees with them, occasionally being sent to deal with it as long as it was "in his level". The tiring part was that he also sometimes needed to fly around and check everywhere in Toki Toki city. Every. Single. Centimeter. It was frustrating. But at the end of the day, he was glad he was helping in any way possible.
As Dancer was approaching his house, he suddenly heard a noise, as if a heavy object had hit the ground. In response, Danver flared his power, and turned to where he heard the nose from, and approached slowly.
"Well, time to see whether that training paid off or not", Danver thought to himself
As he got closer, Danver thought he saw a glint of red light coming from where he was approaching.
"Wait a minute, red light?"' Danver thought to himself. "But it doesn't make sense, the pods are supposed to release an emergency signal. At least, the newer ones are supposed to."
As Danver got closer, the red light got brighter, and he knew that it was indeed a pod, without it's alarm. Finally, Danver made way into the clearing, seeing a
minicrator. And within the minicrator, a pod. A pod that looked to be similar, to the very pods from the Frieza Force.
"I'm guessing that it isn't empty," Danver thinks to himself as he hops into the minicrator.
Danver was intrigued by who, or what for that matter, was in the pod. He decided to open the pod. Within it, he found a small child, with old saiyan battle armour and a furry belt wrapped around his waist.
"Hold on, a furry belt?" Danver thought to himself as he pulled the little fella out of the pod.
Indeed, a furry belt the little one had. Meaning that this child was a saiyan. At least it was part saiyan. There wasn't really a way to see if it was a human and saiyan hybrid. "Well, it's definitely a boy, there's that much." Danver, being a human with very few friends, contemplated whether or not he wanted to keep the saiyan child.
Danver shook his head, chastising himself for even thinking about it. But as he was about to pull out his scouter, he noticed something within the pod. A piece of paper. He decided to pick up the paper. Within the paper, it read: "To whoever finds this pod, and this child, we beg of you to keep care of him. No matter if you're of different species or are enemies of ours, we beg that you keep him in your care, and safe."
The letter had, keyword being had, a name on it that was smudged beyond recognition. Danver still wondered though: what should he do with the child? But as he asked that question, the child hugged him, calling him "New dada!"
In that moment, Danver knew, despite all the responsibility he already had, he needed to take care of this child.
"Huh, who knew that I would become a single father of a child at 24?" Danver asked out loud. "Child," Danver thought. "No, he needs a proper name. But what should I choose?" he thought.
"Well, I'm certainly rambling a lot in my head, huh?" Danver said out loud.
"Ramble! Ramble!" the child that seemed no more than 3 said.
"Ramble?" Danver thought to himself. "Hmm, yeah, Ramble will do. You," he says, pointing at Ramble, "Certainly like your name."
"Ramble!" Ramble says one last time.
"Well then, let's go to your new home, shall we, Ramble?" Danver says as he takes Ramble back home, who would one day become a great warrior.
