Brooke awoke to the smell of bacon and two large dogs on her bed, Nala and Sumo both laid on top of her in the spare room of Hank's house. The space next to her was empty with Connor's side of the bed being cold, he'd been up a while. Brooke clawed her way out from under the dogs and got her dressing gown, Hank's house was empty without him there, it was too quiet for her liking.

The smell led her to the kitchen, Connor was standing over the stove cooking eggs and bacon. "Morning, babe," she called as she sat down at the dining table.

Connor turned around to smile at her before concentrating on the food. "Morning, my love," he replied. Brooke leaned into the table as she grabbed the steaming cup of coffee in front of her, she never knows how Connor could figure out when she'd be awake and have breakfast ready by the time she is up.

"Have you spoken to Hank yet?" she asked as she took a small sip as the cup burnt her top lip.

"Yes, he will be discharged this afternoon. I have also spoken to Captain Fowler, he wishes for us both to take the day off to help Hank become comfortable at home. Gavin will take over with the interrogations of the red ice suspects." Brooke wanted to do that herself, but she could put it to the side for Hank.

"I'm glad Hank can finally come home. Are we going to stay a bit longer whilst he settles in?" Connor had plated the food and sat down with the food put in front of her before answering.

"If you are okay with that?" he asked with a small smile. Brooke took the first bite of her food, she tried to happily nod, but the food was too busy giving her an orgasm to her taste buds.

"Absolutely... damn this is so good," she snorted in laughter as she took another bite. Connor lightly chuckled as he watched her eat, they both had to leave for the hospital soon and it made Connor nervous for Hank to come home. He would have the temptations of drinking and eating shit food, his medication won't work correctly if he doesn't take care of himself. Connor could only help Hank the best he can and hope the man will accept his help.

"Why don't you get ready whilst I finish my food? We can leave soon," Brooke said as she downed the rest of her coffee. Connor nodded, he got up and leant over to catch a quick kiss from her before leaving.

"I need you to understand Mr Anderson that these medications must be taken each day without fail," the doctor explained for the fifth time that day, Hank was becoming more impatient each time he was told.

"I heard you the first four times, doc. I got this, my annoying android son will only remind me like a broken alarm anyway." Hank felt odd calling Connor his son, but he liked to tell people for some odd reason.

"Right," the doctor drawled. The door to their room opened as Brooke and Connor walked in. "I can assume this is your... son?" Hank nodded as the doctor looked between him and a surprised Connor. "Very well, I would like to speak to Connor for a few moments."

Connor and the doctor left, Brooke sat on the end of Hank's bed. "You look much better," she said with a smile. Hank brushed his overgrown beard.

"I need a shave," he said as he scratched it. Brooke shook her head in a chuckle, she looked around the room, most of his belongings were packed, all that was left behind was his flowers and cards from friends and colleagues.

"Are you ready to go home?" Hank grumbled as he pulled back his duvet and slowly climbed off the bed, Brooke stood by his side for support if he needed it.

"Yeah, I've missed Sumo, my own bed, beer and proper food." Brooke narrowed her eyebrows at him in disagreement, Hank caught on and rolled his eyes at her. "Don't start Brooke, I was only joking."

"That's the annoying thing about it, you weren't," she said as she moved away to start putting his cards together in a neat pile. "You miss all that, I understand that, but your body can't take it anymore. You've gotta start thinking of your life. Connor and I are staying with you for a few days, he wants to make sure you are going to listen to your doctors."

"I'll be fine on my own," he lazily shouted at her as he fought to get his jacket on. Brooke walked over and helped him put his arm inside and zip it up.

"Yeah, sure looks like it. Now shut up, we are staying, end of story." Hank didn't reply. His resting bitch face was enough to tell Brooke she had won the argument. Connor came back with the doctor, the meds in a bag and a stack of notes and orders for the next few weeks to settle Hank back into a somewhat normal life.

"I just need you to sign some more paperwork at reception and then you are good to go, Mr Anderson." Brooke picked up most of the bags, only for them to be taken off her by Connor. He offered her the paperwork and medication. The doctor grabbed a wheelchair for Hank, though he seemed less than impressed with having to be sat in it until they were outside.

"Thank fuck we are home," Hank sighed as Connor pulled the car into the drive. Hank looked at his home with a new relief, he had missed his home dearly and missed Sumo even more. Brooke got out and held the door open for him to get out.

"Come on, old man," she laughed as he groaned and pulled himself out of the car. Connor had walked around to the boot to get the bags out.

"You know, I am meant to be careful with my poor heart and your jokes just stress me out." Brooke nearly hackled at him in laughter.

"Naaa, my jokes keep you young," she said with a light slap to his arm. Hank shook his head with a modest smile. They got to the bottom of the stairs to his door, Connor was behind them both as Brooke followed Hank's side to make sure he was okay. "Let me just get Nala back, she will jump all over you," Brooke said as she stood in front of them both to get to the door. The moment that door opened, both dogs tried to push past her to get to Hank.

"Down, now," Brooke commanded. Both dogs whined, but finally gave in and stepped back to let Hank get inside. He looked around his home, it was cleaner than usual, evidence that Connor had been staying. He never knew how much he would miss his home until he saw it again, his photos, albums and comfy chair all shouted his name for his attention, he really had missed home.

"Sit down, Hank. I will get you some water," Brooke said, snapping him back to reality. He nodded and strolled slowly to his usual seat and groaned happily as he sank into it. Sumo came over to rest his chin on his knee.

"Good boy," he said as he scratched behind his ears. Nala stood at his other side, licking the side of his arm for his attention. He truly loved both of the dogs and would do anything for them.

Connor went to put Hank's things aside and make some room for the cards and flowers, more had turned up at the house over the last few days, soon they'd have no more room for it. Brooke returned with a glass of ice-cold water, Hank wasn't happy to have to drink water, but he had two people and two furry friends to live for. He knew he had to do what he could to survive.

"Do you want some food?" she offered. Hank nodded as he gulped the glass down, not realising how thirsty he was. Brooke needed to find the paperwork from his doctors, there some food he could not eat for a few weeks whilst his heart returned to a somewhat normal rhythm.

"Hank, do you need anything?" Connor shouted from the bedroom.

"Yeah, a blanket, please," he mumbled in return. The words came through clear as day to Connor. He came back to the living room with Hank's favourite brown blanket, he laid it over the man and finally sat down himself.

"Do you want to watch the game?" Hank nodded. Connor sat back with a smile and turned the TV on to find the game channel. The normality was finally coming back to Hank, and he was enjoying it very much.

Soon, Brooke returned with his food, it was a simple salad with some pasta. It looked very bland, but he found it very favourable. Brooke had made herself some pasta and sat next to Connor with her legs draped over his thighs. They all sat together and watched the game, sometimes Hank or Brooke would shout at the TV if they didn't agree with something in the game. Connor sat quietly, spending most of his time predicting who would win the game. His prediction ended up being correct.

Soon the evening had rolled over and Hank was passed out on the couch, Connor decided to carry him to bed. The man didn't stir in the slightest. Brooke cleaned the house up before heading to her own bedroom to get changed, as she pulled her top off she felt someone snack their hands over her stomach.

"Thank you for today," Connor whispered as he rested his chin on her shoulder. Brooke turned around, lacing her arms around his neck.

"You don't need to thank me. I'd do anything for you, and I love Hank," she said with a smile. Connor leaned his head down to catch her lips. "Must we return to work tomorrow?" Brooke moaned as she pulled away and dropped her head on his chest.

Connor stroked his hand through her hair, sighed heavily as he nodded slowly. "Yes, Gavin needs our help, he might have found an important lead that we cannot wait for. We are close to completing this investigation."

"I fucking hate humans sometimes, why can't we be normal," she moaned even louder. Connor chuckled quietly as he pulled her head back to look at him.

"We will have a normal life very soon," he said with a kiss to her forehead.

Gavin had a hell of a day yesterday trying to find some leads. He had to put all his detective experience into work when he interviewed each suspect. Most did talk with pressure, but at times he wished he had Connor with him. It would have taken a hell of a shorter time to get this done with him there.

With little sleep that night and enough paperwork to drown him for a week he was relieved to see Connor and Brooke both arrive at the prescient early that morning. They both instantly joined him in the briefing room as he walked the table and laid out each piece of paper. "Jesus, is this all from the suspects alone?" Brooke asked as she tore off Connor and eyed each one. Connor scanned each one, able to read near three times faster than a human.

"Yes, how's Hank?" he asked from across the table. Brooke looked up at him, raised eyebrows surprised he actually cared, but she looked back down quickly to answer.

"He is well, settling back in at home. Though Connor didn't like to leave him this morning." Gavin looked at Connor who seemed to be ignoring the conversation as he quickly walked the table, moving his eyes from each piece of paper at an unnatural speed.

"I understand that. I should probably talk to you both through all I have with her..."

"No need," Connor said, cutting him off, "I have read them all."

"All of them?!" Brooke asked in disbelief. Connor nodded with no shock or question. "Never mind, of course, you have. Well, do we have anything to go off?"

"Yes," Gavin said. He picked up a piece of paper that he passed to her, "it's an address to the biggest red ice dealing gang in the whole of Detroit."

"It is also where many people from the website Markus found go to deal. Many of the usernames match those who are on public records," Connor informed them. Brooke could feel herself bouncing off the balls of her feet, she was becoming excited with all this new information coming to light.

"Well then, what are we waiting for? Let's get down there and raid the place," she said with a cheer. Connor and Gavin looked at each other, they both shook their heads in disagreement with her idea.

"What can't just storm the place, we need to get a warrant first," Gavin said. Brooke scoffed under her breath, he was right. But getting the warrant could take hours, they didn't have the time to waste.

"Okay, you get the warrant ready, Connor we need to go see Markus about this. He might be able to help us." Connor nodded, they all decided to meet back up in the evening. Hoping they get the warrant then they could have the place ready to raid in just a matter of hours.

Connor and Brooke went straight to see Markus, he might have information or offer some sort of aid that could help them deal with the dealers. Connor had contacted Markus to let him know how urgent this was and he needed to make sure he and North were ready for their arrival. They arrived outside the Haven, Simon waited outside for them both.

"Connor, Brooke, it is good to see you both again," he said as he shook their hands. Brooke had only met Simon a handful of times, but the android was very kind and spoke in a calming and understanding voice in all situations.

"Hello, Simon. We must act quickly, please take us to Markus." Simon nodded at Connors request and led them both to the same room they had been to multiple times before. Markus, North and Josh all stood in the room arguing amongst themselves.

"Guys, they are here," Simon shouted above them all. The arguing instantly stopped as all three androids looked at them. Josh narrowed his eyes at Brooke as she stood close to Connor's side. "They have important news for us both."

"I have found the address to the biggest red ice supplier in Detroit. We are working on obtaining a warrant to raid the place this evening. We could do with your help on this." Markus looked at Josh as the tall android scoffed at Connor's words.

"What do you want us to do? Throw more of our people at them as bait?" Brooke stepped in front of Connor, not letting her partner be spoken to like that.

"No, you all came to us for our help and we have helped. We now need that from you," she said in a stern tone. Markus waved his hand for Josh to shut up before he tried to continue the argument, instead, he left the room, slamming the door behind him. "He's a prick," Brooke muttered to herself.

"Please excuse Josh, he prefers to hide away from our problems than face them. We wouldn't have done most of our public displays if he was in charge of Jericho," Markus explained as he slowly sat down in his chair. The strain of weeks of fighting was starting to show, he was tired and just wanted a quiet life.

"Any help at all would be grateful," Connor said as he moved past Brooke to stand in front of Markus. He knew Markus was the best hope for his people, but the burden could be seen and Connor could see the stress he had by just a simple scan of his body.

"Me and North will come with you tonight, we can offer some sort of help. But our people stay out of this, Connor. They have endured enough." Connor could understand Markus' worry for his people, he didn't want to endanger them just like last time when he fasted off the US army, they might not get so lucky this time.

"Markus, we must tell our people of this plan. We need something in line if something might happen to us both," North said. Brooke felt her spine go cold, she didn't want to ask for their help in a way of putting their lives on the line, but maybe that might be the only answer to fix all this.

"Simon will be our answer to that," Markus said. The blonde, short android stared stunned at Markus, pointing at himself, "yes, Simon, you. You ran Jericho on your own before I came, you did a great job protecting our people, I know you can do it again."

"I... I will do my best, Markus, but please, try to come back to us." Markus offered a small smile to Simon followed by a curt nod, he turned to Connor.

"What is your plan if the warrant is accepted?"

Connor wasn't sure if his plan was going to work, but he couldn't calculate a better option. The evening came around and darkness covered Detroit. The warrant was accepted much quicker than usual, but they were in a time crunch and the judge knew that. Gavin had gathered the whole DPD, including Fowler. They needed everyone for this, some local police stations also offered their aid.

They were seventy strong officers, all armed. It should be a very simple raid, but they needed to start off light, get evidence so the lead dealers could be thrown away for what they have done. They are bound to have fail-safes in place if they even get wind of officers coming to raid them.

"Are you sure this plan will work?" Gavin asked, not at all convinced as he let the officers attach the voice recorders under his shirt. Brooke had the same done to her and put glasses on that hid a camera inside them.

"I look so goofy," she said as she looked at herself in the mirror, the oversized glasses covered nearly all her face. Connor turned to her, resting his hand on her shoulder.

"I think you look cute," he whispered. Brooke smiled at him through the mirror.

"I might wear them more often just for you then," she flirted. Gavin scoffed from behind them.

"Can you two keep it in your pants, please? Connor, what exactly are we doing?" They both turned around and huddled close together, other officers were working on readying their weapons and making sure they had a clear channel open for recording evidence through Brooke and Gavin.

"I was able to get some more intel, thanks to Markus. We found out the codeword given to get you both inside, you must use it in a subtle way or they'll know your undercover. Once inside all you need to do is gather evidence, once we have enough we can raid them." Brooke didn't like going in and not leaving with the gang leaders in her cuffs, but she knew she and Gavin were not enough to take the place down. They had to go slow with this plan.

"What's the codeword?" Gavin asked as he nervously played with his jacket, they both were dressed in lower-class clothes, they both needed to fit in and look the part. Brookes glasses were very old and even had tap holding part of it together.

"Luna," he said with a low tone. Gavin and Brooke looked at each other, both stunned at the odd codeword chosen to get inside such a massive red ice dealing yard.

"As in the name of the moon?" Brooke asked. Markus had now joined them, he looked at her as he nodded to her question.

"Correct, it seems they only do red ice deals and movements under the cover of night, and their biggest shipments happen under a full moon." Connor looked out of the window to the run-down building they had taken over just a few streets from the shipping yard used by the red ice dealers. The full moon looked down at him.

"And tonight is a full moon, this is the best chance we are going to get," he added. Brooke and Gavin both nodded in agreement, everything was in place and it was time for them both to get going if they wanted to make it before the time became too late.

Everyone left the room, only Brooke and Connor were both left behind. Brooke couldn't deny she was scared, a number of things could go wrong for them both and their team. She walked over to him, they both looked out of the window as she snaked her arms around his waist. "Have you told Hank what's happening tonight?"

Connor nodded, he told Hank hours ago about their plan, the older man wasn't happy with letting them all do this without him. But he would be more of a burden than any help, and he knew that. "He is worried, but I assured him we would do much better without having to worry about him being here."

"Yeah, you're right. He is safer at home. I hope it all goes to plan," she quietly muttered. Connor kissed her forehead as he stroked her back.

"It will work, Brooke. Just don't play hero, come back to me," he whispered against her hair.

"You come back to me as well," she replied as she rested her head on his chest. They both held each other tightly, it wasn't goodbye, but they both felt like it was. Fowler shouted at them all to join him at the foot of the exit to their hideout.

"Okay, everyone. We have one shot at this, we have enough people for a successful raid, but we need evidence first. Quinn, Reed, get all the evidence you can find. Don't do anything else other than that, understood?"

"Yes, sir," they both replied in unison.

"Good, we have a track of both your vitals, if we feel it is becoming too much we will be there to pull you out. Other than that, you both must play your parts and make sure you get what we need." He dismissed them all, Gavin and Brooke said the short goodbye to everyone and went on ahead to the crackhouse, it was a rundown warehouse connecting to the harbour that would be the perfect place to smuggle red ice out of Detroit in just a few short hours.

"We need to trust each other, Gavin," Brooke whispered as they both walked down the hill and through the small wooded area to the main docks. They were already attracting attention, mostly from the dock workers who made sure to keep them both in their sights.

"I trust you, Brooke. We might be better off playing this as a deranged couple." Brooke raised her brows at him, but it might be a good idea if they did. Couples who are drug addicts together seem to get accepted more than two people who say they are just 'friends'.

"Good idea, just don't take it overboard," she said. They both soon arrived at the front doors of the warehouse. There were three men who stood outside, all armed with pistols and AK's. Brooke gulped heavily, she had to put away her fears and do her job.

Two of the guards approached them, "what do you want?" Gavin stood protectively in front of Brooke, making sure they saw him hold her hand.

"We were trying to look for something under this new moon. What is it called again?" Gavin asked in a sloppy tone, he swayed slightly, and shivered, showing them he needed his next hit in red ice.

"Luna, darling," Brooke answered. She hooked herself onto the side of his arm, wrapping them together and keeping close to him. "We are both looking for it under this full Luna."

"Come this way," one of the guards said. The other two kept behind them both, holding their guns against their backs.

"Shit, do you think they know?" Brooke whispered to Gavin. He held her tighter, she didn't know whether he really meant it or was just keeping up the act.

"No, I don't think so," he replied. They were both taken inside the warehouse, the smell of red ice stung both their noses, it was nearly burned. The warehouse was badly lit, only close by containers could be seen. Ten more guards appeared from the rooms next to them, then the leaders of the red ice finally appeared. A man and woman, both dressed fashionably, stood above them in the walkways.

"Well, who do we have here?" the woman called, she spoke posh, but also sturdy. Brooke instantly knew she held most of the power, the man leaned against the railing, looking them both down.

"It seems we have some new customers. What are your names?" the man shouted.

"I'm Dan, this is my partner Lacey. We have come to see your stock," Gavin shouted. Brooke scratched the back of her neck, she was trying to look ill for her next dose, but really she was using it as a cover to hide her growing anxiety. She wished Connor was with her.

"Well, why don't we show you just that." the woman laughed as the guns of all the guards pinned on them both.

"Woah, Woah," Gavin shouted, they both put their arms in the air. Brooke wanted to scream, but she tried to keep calm, even though she knew just as much as Gavin, they were both fucked.

"You think we are that stupid, Detective Reed?" the man called. The woman waved for her men to zip tie both of them and gag them. They were dragged into the back of the warehouse and into a room that smelt of dead flesh.

"Sit them both down," she shouted. They both were tied tightly to old wooden seats, the gags in their mouths were pulled out. Brooke groaned at the aggressive handling. "Why don't we start from the beginning. Why are you here?"

"Why don't you first indulge us into telling us how you know who we are?" Brooke sarcastically asked. The woman walked towards her, punching her in the cheek, Brooke instantly felt her skin break as it started to bleed.

"It was rather easy, Miss Quinn. You are well known around here for your relationship with the deviant hunter. And after your recent actions in England, well it's not hard to put two and two together." Brooke really didn't think about herself being in the news, she thought her disguise would be enough, but it really wasn't.

"Who are you?" Gavin asked, trying to get the woman's attention off Brooke, she nearly hit her again.

"You don't need to know our names," the man said. "But to stop you from guessing, call me S and her F," he said pointing at his female.

"Pretty shit names," Brooke laughed. F hit her again, she spat blood out this time, still laughing at them both.

"Brooke, shut up," Gavin sneered at her. Brooke looked at him, but finally stopped laughing and kept quiet.

"Nice to see you listen to your partner. I must ask, Brooke. Why do you feel you have to date a machine instead of your own kind?" F asked her, both women looked at each other. Brooke smirked slightly as she spoke.

"Because to me he is human, and he has more of a heart than you monsters. Probably better in bed than Mr S over there," she snickered as she threw her head in the man's direction. F was about to reply, but then a guard came flying through the door.

"We have movement outside," he shouted. S ran out of the room with him, leaving F with them both.

"I thought you might like to know, we are behind the android deaths with red ice. Those machines will either return as our slaves or die, your partner will soon join them." Brooke felt her blood run cold, F knew she had her right where she wanted, she smiled and turned around to walk out of the room. Brooke tried to struggle in her seat.

"If you think you can kill the deviant hunter then you are either a dreamer or fucking stupid. I wonder which one, you just some jumped up bitch who thinks she is the shit," Brooke shouted, F stopped in her tracks, half turning her head to listen. "You are nothing more than a piece of shit who has to sniff red ice to get some attention from her ugly partner."

"That's it bitch," she shouted as she turned around and took a knife out from her leg holster. "I was going to keep you alive to let you watch the death of Connor, but I might kill you now," F shouted as she lined up the blade with Brooke's throat.

"F, don't!" Gavin shouted as he tried to struggle out of his seat. Both women glared at each other, the lazy look from Brooke pissed F off even more.

"You might wanna turn around," Brooke whispered. At that moment, F felt her whole body lift off the ground as she was thrown over someone and landed hard on the concrete floor. She rolled around as the air from her lungs was knocked out of her. Connor wasted no time taking the knife from her and cutting both Brooke and Gavin free.

"Keep her there," Connor shouted to Gavin as he passed him a pistol. Gavin found some more zip ties and bound her arms together as she tried to roll on the floor. "More officers are coming, I just went on ahead. North and Markus are clearing the warehouse as we speak."

Connor put his arm around Brooke to get her balance, her cheek stung badly and the tense pressure from F holding down on Brooke's knee made her legs feel slow and clumsy. "Wait, there are dozens in here, they can't do it alone."

"It's fine, we were able to draw a few of them away with the distraction outside. Let me get you to medical," Connor said as he tried to pull her along. S had returned he looked at the scene in front of him and instantly roared in frustration as he threw himself into Connor. Both fell to the floor, Brooke was able to break free and move out of the way. She got hold of F's knife and tried to run at S, but another guard cut her off and threw her into the wall.

Gavin tried his best to be of some help, but when he turned away F would try to break free and she nearly did a couple of times. Connor threw S into a support column then kneed him in the stomach. The human was no match for Connor and S knew this, he scattered backwards next to a door of a cupboard. As Connor slowly walked towards him, the slow burn of murder in his eyes, S opened the door and a heavily built android flew out and headed straight towards Connor.

Both androids clashed, Connor fell to the floor with a heavy thud, he scurried across the floor as the massive android tried to stomp him under his thick builder's boot. Brooke flew past him as she climbed onto the back of the struggling guard, he tried to hit her multiple times, but she wouldn't let him. Soon, she was able to find a soft spot in his armour and dug the knife in deep. The guard cried out in pain as his body gave way and blood splattered across Brooke when she pulled the knife off, the lifeless body slumped, she turned her attention to the android that was currently kicking Connor's arse, his usual fighting style wasn't enough for the massive android.

Brooke threw the knife towards the android, it stuck him right in the chest, but it didn't seem to bother him. The android grunted as he pulled the knife out and then threw it to the floor. Connor kicked the android in the back of the legs, but it wasn't enough, he turned around and picked Connor up, throwing him into a stack of wood.

Brooke ran past Gavin who was struggling with S as they both fought for the gun. F was knocked out when Gavin dropped the pistol on her head. Brooke picked up the knife again, but the android already got to her, he picked her up by the back of her hair, she screamed in pain and then her world flew past her as she was thrown into Connor. They both crashed onto the floor, Brooke rolled on the floor in pain as Connor tried to get her up and moved with the android slowly moving towards them. Connor picked her up, running around the outside of the room and dropping her gently behind a desk as he faced back off with the android.

The hand to hand combat was starting to work in Connor's favour, it took him time to figure out a way to bring the android down, but soon he simulated the correct way to do it. He led the android to the edge of the walkways, the android was none the wiser he was walking towards his own death, he readied a punch, but Connor dodged and dropped to the floor to trip the android, with his balance gone, Connor had only seconds to kick both his feet into the android's chest and let him fall. The android fell several feet over the railing into the solid ground, a loud thud followed by static noises as his head smashed open with wires and data drives hung out.

Connor sighed heavily, he felt just fine in himself, but his body somehow ached. He looked down to see North and Markus waving to him. "We have dealt with them all down here, Fowler and the rest are already gathering all the rest."

"Okay, we will be down soon," Connor replied. He straightened his tie and hair before returning to the back room. "Brooke, it's done-" The bullet cut him off. His HUD flagged the warning, his body was quickly losing blue blood.

"CONNOR!" Brooke screamed as she scrambled towards him. S stood across the room, gun smoking from his hand. F had broken free and was holding Gavin back as the man muffled a scream. Connor dropped to his knees, his HUD gave him a shutdown warning of fifteen minutes, he slowly moved his hand over the gun wound over his chest, it had clipped the side of his Thirum pump.

"On the floor!" S shouted to Brooke, she ignored them as she fell to Connor's side, taking off her jacket and applying pressure to his wound. S was about to make another threat but he and F both fell to the floor, Gavin stumbled as the woman nearly took him to the floor. Fowler stood at the door, shotgun in hand with his officers at his side.

"Fowler, Connor has been shot," Gavin shouted as he ran over. They all crowded Connor, he tried to speak, but he panicked. He didn't want to die, he was scared to die, he had his life ahead of him.

"Connor, baby? Look at me, please," Brooke begged. Connor did look at her, but his eyes were glassed over. He felt his dormant stage being forced on himself, his body's way of protecting itself from damage in hopes he can get help. "Shit, no, stay awake." But Brooke's words were nothing more than noise to him, he fell asleep and slumped into her.

"Gavin, help him up," Fowler shouted as he threw his gun to the floor and grabbed Connor's arm, Gavin did the same and they slung him over Fowler's shoulder, the big human could just about take the android's weight.

"We need to get him to Kamski," Brooke shouted as they all started to quickly leave the warehouse. "He is the only one who could save Connor." Brooke could feel the tears fall down her cheeks, she hoped Kamski could help, but Connor was losing masses of blue blood, she was covered in it, even with applying pressure to his wound. "Stay with me, baby," she whispered as they all climbed into the ambulance.
