"Will you marry me?" The words took the breath from her lungs, Connor knelt down in front of her. The beach waves crashing in the background, Brooke trembled her lips, lost of all words.

"I...I," she mumbled. She mentally slapped herself, why couldn't she just say yes? She had wanted to marry Connor for such a long time, but finally being asked wasn't at all how she had expected it.

"Brooke?" Connor whispered, feeling the embarrassment start to overtake him. Brooke knelt down to his level, cupping his cheeks in her cold palms.

"Yes, Connor. I will marry you," she laughed with tears rolling down her peach cheeks. Connor nodded his mouth agape before finally taking the shining ring and placing it on her ring finger and tackling her to the soft sand.

"I love you, Brooke," he said with admiration. Brooke giggled like a schoolgirl, they rolled around in the sand, planting kisses around each other's faces and necks. Connor had to have her, he got them both up and nearly hauled her back to their hotel.

"I need you," she moaned as his hands trailed down her shivering spine, clothing half hung from her body. Connor groaned, dragging his teeth over her neck. They both just about made it back, barely able to keep their hands off each other.

Brooke undid the buttons of his trousers, letting her free hand drop under his boxers. She felt his hard length rub against her sweating palm. Connor hitched a breath and leaned against the door frame, they were so close to the bed, but it still seemed miles away from them both.

"Shit," he hissed as she started to pump him in his boxers, he felt himself come undone by her. It had been a while since they last had sex, with work, Annabelle, and Hank to deal with, those moments for them both to enjoy each other's company were so few and far between.

Connor pulled her hair back, letting her veined neck be exposed to him. She gasped as his hot lips kissed and sucked her fragile skin. They both explored their hot, steaming bodies, clothes being ripped down to just underwear.

Brooke pushed Connor towards the bed, she couldn't last much longer, she craved his body like a type of dehydration she had gone days without water and would kill for just a drop. Her body craved just that for Connor.

He obliged and let her push him to the soft bedding, straddling him straight after. "My love, slow down. There is no ru-" Connor's words were cut off when her hot entrance met his throbbing member. Brooke did have a lot to rush for, she couldn't control herself.

"Fuck," she mumbled, grinding her hips slowly, letting her body adjust to his size. Connor dug his nails in her thighs, letting her body grip him tightly, she looked like a goddess. Brooke tore her hands through his pale six-pack.

They both got quicker with the pace, Connor doing his best to match her speed, but she was going wild on top of him. He grabbed her ass cheeks and pulled her up, their bodies losing connection. Brooke sadly moaned as she felt empty again, he flipped them both over so he was on top and quickly filled her again. He was rewarded with a satisfied groan and chuckle.

"You're so wet," he moaned deeply against her ear, Brooke could barely reply. His voice, body, and everything about him just sent her crazy, she wrapped her legs around his waist, pulling him down closer.

They both kept up the fast pace until Brooke finally came undone underneath him, she dropped her legs and shuck beneath him, the throbbing of her soaking wet walls forced Connor to also finish. He dropped, nearly crushing her small frame, keeping one hand free to hold himself up he groaned deeply, feeling his metallic throat rumble.

"I love you, Connor," she whispered, wiping the sweat from her forehead. Connor opened his eyes, looking down at the one person who had been with him through some of the hardest parts of his life, he wasn't sure how'd he gotten so lucky to have her.

"I love you too, Brooke," he replies, catching a small kiss from her lips.

Time Jump.

Brooke wasn't sure how she could have gone so quickly to remembering that moment of them making love just after their engagement to now sitting down at the beauty table of her bridal room, North stood in front of her as she fixed her makeup.

The wedding dress stared at her from the mirror, it was a simple, but elegant dress. The fishtail finish and knitted arm details were all she needed to see to fall in love with the dress at the first fitting.

"You okay?" North asked. She couldn't lie to herself when she was shocked when she was asked by Brooke if she wanted to be her maid of honor, she never thought she'd be a part of the first human/android wedding.

Brooke looked up at her, offering her a small smile and curt nod. Truth was, she wasn't okay. She was scared as hell, it was December of 2040 and she'd only been engaged four months. Now she was walking down the aisle to become Mrs. Anderson. Connor wasted no time in getting everything ready, the whole family was so excited for them both. Annabelle lept in joy when they told her, Hank tried to act tough but the ex-cop eventually broke down crying.

Connor had asked Markus to officiate the wedding and Gavin to be his best man. To say he was shocked was an understatement. Brooke had to walk away from them both when they jumped and laughed like teenage boys.

"Brooke?" The voice of her father broke her from her deep thoughts. He knocked lightly on the door, "are you ready? Everyone is downstairs and waiting for you." John had been so supportive for them both, he paid for the whole wedding and even their honeymoon. Though Hank argued he should help so John let him tag along to help where he could. Both men went right back to old friends and made plenty of promises of future trips they all could go on.

"She just needs to put her dress on," North called. She rushed over and got the dress down from its hanger and opened the clear plastic cover. Brooke nodded at herself in the mirror, feeling her stomach churn as she realized that it was all happening finally took over.

The dress hugged her frame tightly, she felt support in all the right places as North zipped her dress close against her back. She pulled the sleeves to get them down to the right length she wanted and turned to look in the glass wardrobe.

"This dress is beautiful," North comments, she just finished putting together her light ginger hair in a side french braid. Brooke smiled at her through the mirror.

"It really is, I hope Connor likes it." Brooke remembered having to explain nearly three times to Connor why he couldn't come dress shopping with her or see it before the big day, the man just became more and more confused each time.

"We should get going, they will wonder where you are," North says as she opens the door for Brooke to walk out. She felt her stomach turn tightly, but with a deep breath, she pushed herself outside into the hall.

Connor waited at the end of the small reception room, Gavin stood by his side. Hank sat down just across from him, the biggest smile across his lips. Connor never knew a black-tie suit could be so tight, or maybe it was just his nerves.

Gavin had to calm him down twice before they both even left, the worst things kept going to his head. The thoughts she might change her mind and run away, or she pauses and worries about saying 'I do'.

but then the music started, he somehow became startled as Christina Perri's A Thousand Years song from 2011 started to play. He quickly turned and saw Annabelle first, the little girl wore a bright pink dress and held a basket of red rose petals.

She waved at Connor with the biggest smile and started to skip a little too quickly, the petals flying from her basket. North ran behind her and slowed her down with a gentle touch of the shoulder. Annabelle giggled but stopped and waited for Brooke to catch up from the double-bayed doors.

His eyes darted to her, the flowing dress made her look a goddess. She walked down the aisle with John by her side, she held tightly to him. Scared she might fall or trip. The song was slow and peaceful, she looked at Connor. The whole world seemed at peace when she sat him down.

She finally made it by his side, they both greeted each other with a smile as John handed his daughter to her very near husband. Markus had joined them both, wearing a dark grey suit. North looked at him with so much love for the man, she nearly tears up at the sight of him.

"May everyone have their seats," he announces with a gesture with his hands. Everyone in the room took their single, silk-covered seats. Annabelle sat down on Hank's knee, smiling with glee.

"We are gathered here today, as friends and family to witness the joining of Brooke Quinn and Connor Anderson. This will be the first android and human marriage in America. This will be something special to witness for us all." Markus paused to nod at them both, he wanted to make sure they were both ready for the vows.

"Connor and Brooke have prepared their own vows, Connor would you care to go first?" he asked, everyone in the room glanced his way. Connor gulped, he felt nervous. over a year of emotions were about to pour out.

"...Brooke, when I first met you... I knew you were different from any other woman I had met." He paused, somehow forgetting all his words. Brooke saw him struggle and offered him a comforting squeeze of her hand. He smiled and finally continued, "I didn't know if it was your beauty, intelligence, laugh, or your bravery from taking a job miles away from home that pulled me to you, then soon after, I realized it was all these and more. You are the best partner another could ask for. I love you with all my... heart and I'd do anything for you and our daughter," he finished as he smiled at Annabelle. She giggled and waved at him. "And I'm just glad it was my desk you accidentally sat on the first day you met." Everyone in the room laughed.

Connor felt odd saying heart, but Therium pump didn't sound as nice. He decided then he did have a heart, just different from a human. Markus turned to Brooke, motioning her to take her go. "Connor, you may not be a human or even age the same as us, but early on you told me you didn't care. I will admit it took me some time to believe you, but now I do. I will love you to my last breath and fight by your side anytime you need me. You are not an android in my eyes, you are just Connor. I don't care if you don't have red blood, ours still flow the same with our love. Thank you for giving me the best life a girl could ask for, I love you."

"I love you too," he whispered. Feeling his eyes sting with the blue bloodshot veins becoming visible. He cleared his throat and bit back the tears.

"Well, now that we are all on the verge of crying from both your beautiful words, we will get the rings ready." North and Gavin came into their view with the rings, they both took them and prepared to place them on each other's ring fingers. "Connor, will you promise to be by Brookes' side no matter what? Can you protect and love her for the many years ahead in both your lives? Will you be by her side for better or worse?"

"I will," Connor replied, not taking his eyes off Brookes.

"And Brooke? Can you promise the same for Connor?" She was too busy crying to reply but offered him a tearier nod. They both pushed the rings up each other's fingers, then shining gold bands shared the love for one another.

"Then with the power invested in me and the state of Detroit, I pronounce you both husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." Markus stepped back as the crowd cheered the couple into the deep, passionate kiss.

Brooke felt the presence of everyone else in the room disappear as the kiss happened, Connor held her warm rosy cheeks tightly. Their lips dance to the song of their love. Life had been different since day one for them both, but if they were told this was their future a year and a half ago. they both would have laughed and denied it. But here they both were, kissing to their future together and with Annabelle by their side.

After four hours of eating, dancing, drunk speeches, and a feud between Hank and John on the best football team, everything for the night started to calm down. Annabelle had passed out on some chairs in the far corner, some had gone home after congratulating the couple and wishing them all the best.

Currently, Connor and Brooke had the dance floor to themselves, a slow dance song played in the background as they held each other tightly and slowly moved to the piano beat. Connor leaned his head back, catching Brooke's tired eyes.

"Thank you for being my wife," he whispered.

"I should say the same to you, husband," she chuckled, leaning her head into his warm chest. "I never would think this would be my life at just twenty-four years old."

"Well, believe it and it won't change for anything. I love you so much, Brooke." Connor knew the words for how much he loved her didn't exist, but he wasn't sure what else he could possibly say but those words.

"I love you too, Connor. Forever and Always."

A/N: Well... that's the last chapter before my two endings. I can't believe we are this close to the end, how the time has flown for Connor and Brooke. I will be putting the... sadder ending first. I imagine you all can guess what will happen, but don't worry, if it's not for you. There will be another.
