Summary: While Elsa has been gone it is up the young Skylar to run the Embers base. Safe to say things do not go as to plan for Skylar as clones and Supervillians run rampant around the galaxy. Darra is still in distress about Elsa being gone, will she ever return? is she even alive and if so how will she handle the chaos that has ensured in her absence.
Chapter 1: The first six months
"Ahhh A bar, the finest place in all the Galaxy" Mick says as he and Leonard walk into a bar on the planet of Abregado-Rae
"Yes, you've said that like five times Mick, but remember we're here on business not to get drunk, not to start a bar brawl," Len says
"C'mon bossss" Mick groans
"Now, Now mick, Cool it, we need to find Cad Bane. once business is done with you can bring the heat" Len says
"You and you're bad puns Boss, look there's the blue guy" Mick says gesturing to a table in the back where there was a man sitting alone with three seats
"I wonder if he feels blue" Len says
"Boss, please, no" Mick says
"C'mon let's go talk to a bounty hunter" Len says walking back to the man's table "Cad Bane"
"Yeah, what's it to you old man" Cad said
"I'm Captain cold, my associate and I have been eager to do business with you" Len drawls in his captain cold voice
"You're the two sons of bitches whose been hitting up everyplace in the outer rim with money or something valuable" Cad says
"That'd be us" Mick says gruffly
"What are two old folk like you doing in this line of work" Cad says
"Call me old one more time and I will show you why I am called captain cold, and I can't say it will be an ice experience" Len says propping his cold gun up on the table in view of the blue-skinned bounty hunter.
"Well, you're not the youngest of new blood I've met but then you aren't as new as the normal New Blood. You boys interested in becoming BH's rather than just 'supervillains' right" Cad says
"You read my mind" Len says
"Then you came to the right place, boys" Cad says
"So when are we getting started," Len says "I've a tight schedule so things might be difficult and rushed"
"First thing is first, no partnership can exist when you don't know you're partner's real names" Cad says
"We told you our names" Len says
"Your real names" Cad says
"We're Mick and Leonard Snart-Rory" Mick says
"You're the leader of the two of you, aren't you Leonard," Cad says
"Well he doesn't call me boss for no reason" Len says "We would appreciate it if you would keep our secret identities a Secret before it could come back and bite our children in the shebs"
"You have children" Cad says
"Idiot here drank a twi'lek sex serum" Mick says
"Hey! it looked like a strawberry smoothie and Elsa didn't label it in Basic" Len says
"You're lucky to be alive still, most human men who drink that serum die in childbirth," Cad says
"So about our secret" Len says
"It's safe with me, have a few drinks. I'll contact you when I get all the official paperwork from Jabba" Cad says
"Yeah! Let's bring the heat too this place" Mick rushes over to the bar
"Fair warning, he's probably about to start a bar Brawl" Len says getting up and following Mick to the bar
"Here you go boss" Mick says handing Len a drink, Len sniffed at the open bottle
"What is this" Len says
"Tequila , or that's what it's called, can't guarantee it's the same as it was back home" Mick says
"Well as long as it gives me the buzz it'll be just ice" Len says
"God help me" Mick mutters as Len bumps into someone they stumble, he shoots his hand out snagging by them by the shirt collar stabilizing them before they hit the floor
"Hey" The creature snaps
"Sorry about that partna" Len drawl
"That was Assault" The man's partner says
"I can assure you that I meant no harm, i just merely bumped into him. I didn't mean too assault him" Len says pulling a packet of salt out of his Parka pocket
"Next time I'll slit your throat" The partner says
"Try it and you'll be piles of Ashes" Mick growls stepping up next too Len
"Tell your friend too watch who he steps into then" the partner growls
"You know what" Mick says throwing his drink aside "maybe you should watch your mouth when talking to a supervillain" Mick threw a punch hitting the guy in the face. Seconds later all hell broke loose. There were punches being thrown left and right, swarms of people closing in on mick and Len
"Well this is a ice mess you got us into this time Heatwave" Len says
"Not the time for Puns boss" Mick says punching a few men out
"Why do they burn you?" Len says "Maybe you need ice for your pun made burns"
"Snart, enough" Mick says as they fight they're way too the door and leave the Bar. Len had several bruises begin to form on his face and neck.
"Man they got you good Baby" Mick says as they get on the ship and Mick guides it into hyperspace
"Yeah" Len says rubbing his arm "I think I might need some Ice for this"
"Leonard, your damn puns are what got us in that position" Mick says
"Well that and This" Len shoves his hand in the pocket of his Parka and pulled out A wallet
"You pick-pocketed that guy" Mick says
"I pick-pocketed everyone who got too close" Len says pulling blasters from the same pocket "mainly their weapons by the time they notice we'll be long gone"
"Alright. Take off your shirt and Jacket" Mick says
"Why?" Len questions
"Because there's a splotch of Red on your side and I want to make sure that's not you're blood" Mick says
"Huh…..Oh Fuck" Len says
"It's your blood" Mick says
"It's my blood" Len says stripping his Shirt off, he kicks open a drawer and grabs the first aid kit. Bruises formed fast on Len and Mick could see countless amounts of them on Lens back, arms and upper body, his left shoulder was dangling limply and was a nasty shade of purple.
"You look awful" Mick says
"Thanks, that's always what I want to hear" Len says pulling out a needle and some stitches "Mind patching me up Doctor Heatwave"
"Shut up" Mick says taking the Needle from his lover and kneeling next to him, there was a nasty cut on his right side just under his ribs, it looked like a puncture wound "Why didn't you say you were stabbed"
"So caught up from the Adrenaline High that I didn't feel it" Len says
"Alright, raise your right arm above your head and keep it there" Mick says as he preps the Needle. He then takes and stitches Len up. He then drove them back to the base.
"Think anyone noticed we were missing" Len says a hand on his side which was still bleeding.
"Yeah, considering Skylar, and Imogen are right there I say they did" Mick says grabbing Len under his arms and helping him from the ship.
"You are in so much trouble you two" Skylar says she sees the blood coming from Len's side "But first you are going to the med bay Lenny"
"But Skylarrrrr" Len says as Mick stumbles almost dropping him
"Do not but Skylar me you are going to the med bay" Skylar says
"Mickey patched me up I'm fine" Len says swaying which caused Mick too loose balance and they both tumbled to the floor
"No you most certainly are not Leonard, Michel is not a medic, and that wound will get infected if Magnus or Kix does not patch you up properly" Imogen says
"Just gimme a medkit, I'll patch myself," Len says
"You are drunk, come on" Skylar says grabbing Len by the ear and dragging him to the Med bay, Imogen grabs Mick and throws him over her shoulder carrying him to the med bay
"I'm not drunk, I only had a few drinks of tequila" Len says
"I'll pump Mick's stomach, Kix you patch up Len" Magnus says as they walk in he grabs Mick and shoves the tubes down his throat and hits the button
"Leonard, pull off your shirt, let me see Mick's attempt at patching you up" Kix says
"No" Len says
"I got it" Imogen says knocking Len out then yanking his shirt off
"Thank you" Kix says, "Oh that's a terrible wound, looks like he got stabbed with some type of dagger, he's going to need more than just stitches. And Mick is not allowed to stitch people up, gimme some scissors"
"Here, and here is the stuff you need, I already saw this happen in my future vision" Skylar says handing Kix scissors, needle and thread, bacta, and gauze rolls
"Thanks" Kix says and he goes too work, he ends up cutting the old stitches out and putting some new ones in, then coating it with Bacta and then wraps up Lens entire torso. "That should do it" as Len wakes up
"Ok Leonard now you go to the brig, you too Michel separate cells opposite ends of the brig you know the drill and let's go with 72 hours this time" Imogen says
"Let me relocate his shoulder first" Skylar says grabbing Len's left arm and jamming it back into the socket
"They were here" Cad says too a cloaked figure
"Just like I expected, How we're they," The figure said
"They seamed good, they want to be bounty hunters," Cad says
"Don't put that paperwork in. It's too dangerous, Leonard and Mick Snart-Rory are too old for bounty hunting. I don't care how experienced in crime they are I won't have them doing this" The figure said removing the cloak, she wore a full set of Mandalorian Armor that was painted purple
"How has Rebellion duty been coming, little lady" Cad asked
"Slow, you know how civi's are" She says
"I wish you luck child" Cad says
"Thanks, it's like herding cats with these people, and you cant herd cats" She says
"Would you like a drink" Cad says
"Don't have the money, Bane" she said
"It's on me, you sound weary" He said
"Then sure" She took off the helmet she wore, she had vivid purple eyes a wild teal hair. Cad walked too the bar and came back with a bottle of Mandalorian Whiskey
"What's your next move" Cad says
"Well I need to head to the heart of the empire, I need to raid the old Jedi Temple, but they'd recognize the phoenix Glider," She says
"I can give you a lift, as you know I do jobs for his 'royalness' I wouldn't mind giving you a ride. Fulcrum" Cad says
"We got Incoming!" Len says as stormtroopers are approaching. It was Him, Skylar, Gwen, Kix, and Hardcase
"Lenny watch your flank," Skylar says shooting a stormtrooper that was coming up behind Len
"Freeze!" A stormtrooper yells
"Sorry not this time bitch" Skylar says
"Okay" Len says
"Get him Cold" Skylar says
"I'll Freeze…..FREEZE YOU!" Len blasts the stormtrooper in the chest with a block of ice.
"Not your best pun there Lenny" Skylar says as she blasts five stormtroopers through the stomach "I guess I just helped them lose that stomach fat" she laughs
"We gotta clear a path. Find some better cover" kix says "Or we're all gonna be goners"
"Can you guys stop doing puns" Hardcase laughs as he is blasting Stormtroopers
"It makes us fight better Hardcase get over it" Skylar says as she uses the force to knock a whole garrison of stormtroopers into a tar pit
"Ughh" Kix says as several Stormtroopers fire on him pushing him back away from the group
"We're severely outnumbered, We gotta call for reinforcements," Gwen says
"Already tried nothing is working Pappa," Skylar says
"Comms, Magic and my meta powers" Len says
"Hardcase watch your six" Skylar shouts as she rips one stormtrooper head clean off
"AHAHAHAHAHA!" Hardcase cackles as he shoots stormtroopers
"Well if we stay out here much longer we're going too-AGHHHH!" Gwen yelled in pain as he was shot in the shoulder
"Pappa!" Skylar screams she sees blood flowing from his wound
"I'm- Ughhhh" Gwen shouts in pain as he's shot again this time in the gut and Chest
"Medic! Gwen needs a Medic" Len calls
"You're Medic is taking heavy fire!" Kix says
"Fuck what do we do" Skylar shouts as she takes out an entire garrison with a sonic grenade
"Skylar, cover me. Kix Throw me you're med-pack" Len says ducking over to Gwen. Kix tosses the med-pack over to Len. Len then starts ripping open Gwen's shirt to see the wounds
"Hardcase help Kix, I'll cover Lenny," Skylar says using her gun to blast stormtroopers left and right guarding Len
"He's been shot in the Shoulder, Gut, and Chest," Len says digging through the Med pack he pulls out a pair of tweezers.
"Can you help him?" Skylar asks
"Yeah, this is simple bullet removal," Len says digging in Gwen's shoulder and pulling out the bullet.
"Be careful Lenny you need to stop the bleeding" Skylar says
"The shot too his gut is a through and Through," Len says
"Fuck, we need to get him back to the ship so Magnus and Kix can heal him" Skylar says
"You act like you don't trust my healing abilities" Len says pulling the bullet out of Gwen's chest
"Errrrmmmmmmmm" Gwen moans in pain
"At least at the med bay Pappa would be numbed cause this has got to hurt" Skylar says
"Last bullet was lodged in a rib" Len says pulling stitches and Gauze out of the med kit.
"Be careful Lenny" Skylar says blasting more stormtroopers
"It's already out, now I just gotta stitch him up, and gauze him. Like I said this was simple" Len says beginning to stitch him up
"Just to be clear he dies you die" Skylar says
"He's not going to die, Skylar I've taken more bullets than this, pulled them out myself and lived, he's got twice the amount of blood than I did" Len says starting to gauze and wrap Gwen's stitched up wounds
"Come on let's hurry and ditch these bucket heads and get back to base" Skylar says "Hardcase you and Lenny help Pappa up and help him walk "
"Done" Len says
"We just gotta get rid of these guys" Hardcase says "They hit Kix with a Stun gun" Hardcase had Kix thrown over his shoulder in a fireman's carry.
"Powers are back" Len says "I can feel my Ice"
"Hardcase help Lenny with my dad I'll grab Kix" Skylar says using the force to lift Kix
"C'mon up we go" Len says helping Gwen too his feet and taking all of Gwen's weight
"You got 'im or…" Hardcase says
"I got him, you lay down cover fire" Len says
"Alright to the ship double time" Skylar says
'You guys okay out there? Need assistance from the Arrow? You've been silent for a while" Oliver said over the comms
"We're fine sorry our comms went down for a bit we were in some kind of zone that blocked everything but the force power-wise we are on the way back to the ship, Kix got stunned and Pappa got shot three times but we are all alive, be back at the ship in five" Skylar says
"Need me too bring a smaller ship by to pick you up?" Oliver asks "I'll inform Magnus that he has a patient en route"
"I can see the ship from here Queen just have Magnus standing by" Skylar says
'Copy that, Green Arrow out' Oliver says
"Cold, hardcase, Pappa comms out for a second" Skylar says they all take their coms out "Oliver is so fucking annoying sometimes like he needs to chill the fuck out I told him we would be back in five and he asks to bring a smaller ship to get us he kinda pisses me off"
"Copy that Princess Night," Len said taking Gwen's Ear Comm out "Green Arrow is just a worry rat. He likes to make sure his team is alright and help out. I gotta say I liked him better when he was that stone cold Vigilante"
"It's not his team here, until we get Elsa back you guys are my team he needs to just sit back and follow orders if we need him I will tell him" Skylar says
"Snart. If you want the Vigilante back I can be the vigilante." They hear Oliver say from over Lens comm
"Oh Fuck" Len says
"Cold I said comms out" Skylar says glaring at him
"Yeah I took out Gwen's but forgot about mine" Len says "and Arrow I don't care what you do, just follow orders and dont back talk our commander"
"Your an idiot," Skylar says as they reach the ship they take both Kix and Gwen to the Med bay
What happened!?" Magnus asks
"Pappa got shot three times Lenny patched him up, Kix got stunned he'll be fine" Skylar says
"Well let me take a look at Gwen" Magnus says he looks at the areas that Gwen had been shot "this is perfect stitching Len, Gwen I think you should make a full recovery"
"Ummmmm" Len says looking away from Magnus
"Ughhhhh" Gwen moans
"Len care to explain how you did a perfect stitch?" Magnus says
"Experience, my old man used to push me around, never let us go to a hospital so I had to do it myself" Len says
"You are now a junior medic, with just a bit of training you should move up quickly" Magnus says
"Really Just junior? I already know everything there is" Len says
"For now until I can fully evaluate your skillset yes just Junior, Sorry Captain but i need to test you before your a full med, also since you are the captain you can't be a full-time medic" Magnus say
"Update?" Fulcrum said sliding in a booth next to Cad Bane
"Skylar, Leonard, Gwen, Hardcase, and Kix were out on a Mission today. The mission went south" Cad said as fulcrum removed her helmet she had vivid purple eyes and Neon green hair
"Kark" Fulcrum said "Who did we loose"
"No one, Gwen got shot three times but Leonard patched him up and they escaped unscaved" Cad says "You picked a good leader"
"I know, I picked her for a reason. No one else could hold the team together except for Daddy and Darra but Darra is to drunk too do anything. It has too be Skylar, she will do great" fulcrum says
"Yes, but for how long can she keep this team together," Cad says
"She only has too last another year, possibly a year and a half. She can do this, I believe in her" Fulcrum says standing up "Till next time Cad Bane"
