Chapter 8: Eclipse
"Good Morning Professor" a cloaked man with his hood on to where his face is hidden, a young boy with dark hair and blood red eyes with pale skin clinging to his leg
"Good Morning" Mcgonagall says " What is this about my old student?"
"I know that it is a little late into term and he is still rather young but I was hoping to enroll my son into school here this year, he is quite gifted for his age just like his cousin, Elisa, and young Skylar" the cloaked man says gesturing to his son
"Well it is a little unorthodox at this point in the semester, why so eager all of a sudden" Mcgonagall asks
"Eclipse son, go out into the hall and play with your toy broom" the cloaked man instructs his son and he walks into the hall pulling his toy broom from underneath his cloak once he is out of earshot the cloaked man answers Mcgonagall "Professor I am dying, and I know my condition will only get worse, I don't want Eclipse to see me slowly expiring, I can't put him through that not after what his mother put him through before she was locked away, please professor the poor boy has been traumatised enough"
"Very Well, let me summon Remus quickly, I think he would want to talk to you and meet Eclipse, and you should probably make him aware of the situation" Mcgonagall says writing a quick note and sending it flying a few minutes later Remus walks in holding a half asleep Scout, Skylar still in his pocket Eclipse rejoins his father clinging to his leg once more
"You summoned me professor" Remus says
"Yes Remus, there is someone here you might want to talk to" Mcgonagall says
"Hello Remus" The cloaked man says whipping off his hood dramatically
"R...Regulus" Remus says
"That's right, and this is my son Eclipse, he will be joining the other students at school this year, Keep him safe for me Remus please, keep him safe from my idiot brother who somehow managed to escape, I will be writing to you when I get home to let you know why I have to leave him here" Regulus says "Take care of him for me, he's the only family I've got left" Remus gives Regulus a silent nod and then bends down to Eclipse
"Ummmm….hello there" Remus says unsure on what to say
"Dad, I don't like it here why can't I just stay with you and read the books at home and educate myself?" Eclipse asks
"Eclipse, there are many children here around your age that would love to play with you I'm sure" Remus says Eclipse just rolls his eyes
"Eclipse, son you have to stay here and you're going too learn so many new things and meet new people, maybe even make some friends socialization will be good for you" Regulus says bending down too be eye to eye with his son "I love you son behave yourself and listen too Professor Lupin ok?"
"Ok Daddy" Eclipse says reluctantly
"Hi….I scout" Scout says with a yawn she wasn't fully awake
"Um….. Hi, I'm Eclipse"Eclipse says awkwardly as he hears a whine come from Remus's pocket "What was that?"
"Oh this is Skylar" Remus says pulling skylar from his pocket
"Mooney!" Elisa says waltzing in wear a silk gown, she immediately notices eclipse and Regulus sees her purple eyes go solid black and she gain a trouble making grin, the same one Sirius, her father always wore. She headed towards eclipse, Mcgonagall gave her a stern glare and Remus looked at Elisa and says
"Don't you dare young lady" Remus says
"Aww Mooney" Elisa says Skylar jumps from remus's hand and into Elisa's pocket where she kept the glitter then jumps out off her pocket covered in glitter
"Elisa go play with Anya, i know she's up playing dolls at this hour" Remus says
"Okay Mooney" Elisa skips out of the room
"Remus, is that my niece, and is skylar my brothers goddaughter" Regulus says
"Yes, that is Elisa Black, She goes by Elisa Phoenix, and this is Skylaris Potter, they are your niece and brothers god daughter but They can not be told, Elisa is not too know about her real father" Remus says
"Very well" Regulus says and he covers up Eclipses ears "Same goes for you about what i will Write to you about with my son"
"Yes well it is almost time for breakfast, perhaps we should take this too the great hall" McGonagall says
"Ahh yes, I have to go rangle sniper out of bed" Remus says
"Actually I have to be going, but do take Eclipse with you" Regulus says
"Professor, i don't think he wants to see me fighting with a cussing ten year old to get her out of bed-"
"Yes I do" Eclipse says
"No you don't, Professor will you take him to the great hall with you" Remus says as he's bending down too pick up skylar who's still covered in glitter.
"Now young master black come with me" Mcgonagall says holding out her hand for Eclipse
"Whatever lets just go" Eclipse says with a scoff, he turns to walk out refusing McGonagall's hand
"Goodluck with him, professor" Regulus says apparating out.
"Great another handful to add to the bunch" Mcgonagall says chasing after eclipse
"Come on snipes, it's time for breakfast" Remus says as he's dragging sniper into the great hall after a good ten minutes worth of struggle. Anya was carrying Scout who was happily chewing on her ba-ba. Skylar was still in Remus' pocket getting glitter all over it without him noticing, and Elisa was walking behind Anya. Remus pulls Sniper over to the table and sits her in the empty seat next to Charlie, where she immediately puts her head down, as remus conjures up a high chair and sits it next too Bill, and Anya puts Scout in it
"Hi char char" Scout says "Hi Billy"
"Hi sweetie" Bill says
"Only Ginny gets to call me that kid" Charlie says
"But Charwe hard to say" Scout says
"I've got a solution don't talk to me" Charlie says turning away
"No" scout says "Billy The dumb dumb being mean"
"Sweetie that's not nice either and Charlie is just grumpy" Bill says
"But he name hard and i cant call 'em char char" Scout says
"Just call him Char" Bill says patting her head
"Okay" Scout says as they see Severus walk up too remus, Just then Mcgonagall pushes Eclipse up to the Gryffindor table
"Children this is Eclipse Black he will sit with you today until he is sorted at dinner tonight" Mcgonagall says
"Hi Ecipse" Scout says waving at him "My name Sydney, Sydney Huller"
"Um Hi I guess" Eclipse says sitting down next to Elisa and Harry
"That my sissy Lily" Scout says "That Anya and Willow, the fire head is Char, That Billy, That Percy, That Ron, That George and Fred, That Harry, That Hamione, That Dray-dray, That Darra, and that Elisa!" Scout claps happily
"My name is actually Hermione, that is Charlie, and that is Bill, and then Skylar is up there in Professor Lupin's pocket, that is Darra, and Draco" Hermione says "Charlie doesn't seem to like Scout very much but I can't figure out why she is delightful"
"Char no like me?" Scout says with a sniffle
"I am just getting annoyed with the two year old version of her I want the six year old version of her" Charlie says
"She has a name jackass" Sniper says
"Fine I am getting annoyed with Sydney" Charlie says in spite of knowing what Sniper prefers they be called
"Her name is scout" Sniper snaps
"She introduced herself as Sydney" Eclipse says quietly
"No it not" Scout says
"Yes but everyone calls her scout" Sniper says
"Settle this sweetie what do you want to be called" Bill asks looking at Scout
"Pink" Scout says
"No Sweetie do you want to be called Scout or Sydney?" Bill asks
"Scout short" Scout says
"Ok everyone call her Scout from now on" Bill says "See wasn't that easier than fighting over it
"Sniper, may i speak too you for a moment" Remus says putting Skylar down on the table and she runs off to no one except Remus knows where
"Yes Remus" Sniper says following Remus too where they were out of ear shot
"Sniper, I'm sorry to inform you that the potion that we must give to revert your sister back will leave her without the memories she already has" Remus says putting a hand on snipers shoulder
"So she won't remember our parents, or what we endured?" Sniper asks
"No…..I'm sorry" Remus says trying too pull her close for a hug
"Don't touch me" Sniper snaps and she runs back to the table barely able to hold back the tears that were stinging at her eyes
"Sniper are you ok?" Harry asks timidly
"Leave me alone" She snaps quickly punching the table
"Harry I think it's best to listen to her on this one" Bill says
"It's time for class guys" Hermione says as everyone aside from Sniper begins to get up
"Fuck no" Sniper says and she runs off
"Sissy say a no no, Billy help me" Scout says
"Come here Sweetie" Bill says picking her up and walking out with the rest of the group Eclipse trailing behind when they get to Mcgonagall's class they all sit down Bill sits Scout next to him conjuring up a car booster seat for her to sit in and buckles her in, Eclipse sits down in the Giant Wolf bed in the corner of the room
"Alright class lets begin talking about transforming animals into water goblets" Mcgonagal says
"Mo'in 'fessor" Scout says waving happily
"Hello Sydney now focus up class one two three Vera Verto" Mcgonagall says tapping her wand three times and her toucan turns into a crystal water goblet "You see quite simple who would like to give it a try first?"
"I will" Anya says pulling her wand from her sleeve
"Very Well Ms. Lupin go ahead" Mcgonagall says
"Vera Verto" Anya says taping the Chameleon three times and hers turns into a glass water goblet perfectly
"Show off" Willow says
"Well done Ms. Lupin perfect to 100 points to Gryffindor" Mcgonagall says "Who is next"
"I wanna try I wanna tray" Scout says
"Um very well Sydney give it a try" Mcgonagall says nervously and she bends down behind her desk
"Very Verto" Scout says and a empty desk goes up in a loud explosion "Opps"
"Aguamenti" Mcgonagall says and the fire is extinguished " Good First attempt young Sydney 50 points for effort"
"She blew the desk up!" Kev Hunter, a slytherin says
"She is two Mr. Hunter and 150 points from Slytherin for your rude behavior to the youngest student" Mcgonagall says
"Ha ha you got trouble" Scout taunts Kev
"Scout shsh before you get in trouble too" Bill says
"Okay" Scout says "I gotta tinkle"
"Anya take Scout to the bathroom please" Bill says
"I'm not doing that" Anya says
"I got it" Willow says pulling Scout from the car seat
"Are you sure Willow tree?" Charlie says
"Please don't call me that" She says giving him a sickeningly sweet smile
"Whatever kid" Charlie says feeling unnerved by her smile
"Hey guys where did Skylar go I haven't seen her since breakfast and she was still a tiny puppy with wings" Harry says
"She's probably in Mooney's pocket" Elisa says
"But he put her down and she ran off" Harry says
"Well I dunno" Elisa says "Mooney will find her"
"Yeah I guess, but still she is missing yet another class" Hermione says
"Hermione. She grew up here" Elisa says
'Alright Class time for another of you to prove your potential, who will volunteer to be next" Mcgonagall says
"Hey where's the cusser?" Blaise says
"Yeah where is that little Bitch? I would like to get my hands on her" Pansy says
"You stay away from my silver angels" Anya says her voice going too a growl
"Back off Zabini you mess with her you mess with all of us and we do have a large Wolf with wings on our side, plus you already attacked her sister and we owe you a beat down for that one" Harry says
"Oh yeah scar boy what are you gonna do about, cry too your parents?" Blaise snarks
"Besides I don't see the little bitch dog anywhere and you are a little weakling that can't do anything without that stupid mutt" Pansy says
"One more word Zabini. I dare you…..I fucking dare you" Elisa says her voice in just a calm whisper but the entire class could hear
"YEAH AND I WILL TAKE YOU OUT DICKHEADS" Eclipse says standing up his wand primed and his hand without the wand in it was glowing blood red as if his aura was coming out into it
"Your bitch sister can't save you now Scar head and look old Mcgonagall is out of the room" Pansy says grabbing Harry by the collar and lifting him up
"I've had enough" Elisa says wiping out her wand "Bovini Magus" the black spell hits pansy square in the chest and turns her into a cow, Anya grabs harry back before Pansy falls on him.
"Turn her back you crazy bitch" Blaise says
"Oh lets see I might have one for you to" Elisa says
"I got this one Elisa" Eclipse says
"Be my guest" Elisa says
"Reptilius Malidictuso" Eclipse says and Blaise is turned into a tiny Newt Eclipse then turns to Kev "If you want some of that I can do it to you too otherwise keep your mouth shut, that goes for the rest of you too" He scoops up Blaise and puts him in a jar then shrinks Pansy and puts her in the jar too
"You know we cant leave him like that forever right?" Anya says "Although I wish we could"
"I'm technically not enrolled officially until tonight, I'll handle getting rid of them before then" Eclipse says
"Just no murder okay" Willow says walking back in
"No Promises" Eclipse says walking out and heading for the door that leads towards the forbidden forest
"Billy we talk to a pwetty picture" Scout says happily
"That's great sweetie now class is almost over next class is potions with Professor Snape so let's go guys" Bill says and the whole group heads to the potions room and they all sit down in the back Bill accios the car seat for Scout and buckles her in it once again
"Now is time for a pop quiz" Severus says
"Seriously it's your first day back Professor" Charlie says
"Ms. Phoenix What potion is created by mixing powdered root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood?" Snape says
"Draught of Living Death" Elisa says lazily
"Excellent 10 points to Gryffindor" Snape says "Who invented the Elixir of Life?"
"Nicolas Flamel" Elisa says
"20 points, Armadillo bile, scarab beetles, and ginger roots are all used in which potion?" Snape says
"That is obviously the Wit-Sharpening Potion" Elisa says
"30 points What is the name of the world's strongest love potion?" Snape says
"Amortentia" Elisa says
"40 points to gryffindor , What is the name of the law that dictates how to brew antidotes?" Snape says
"That would be Golpalott's Law" Elisa says
"Excellent, 50 points to gryffindor, last question, How long does Felix Felicis take to brew?" Severus says
"Six months" Elisa says
"60 points" Severus says
"No fair!" Kev complains "No one else got a chance to answer"
"Shut up Hunter" Bill says
"Class dismissed" Severus says
"Lets go guys" Bill says picking up Scout
"Yay, I got lots of points" Elisa says, she was walking behind Harry and Ron
"Hey guys what did I miss?" Eclipse says coming up his shirt was torn and his face was dirty as they walk through the courtyard
"That Elisa girl is a real know it all what did she do swallow a bunch of books or take that wit- sharpening potion?" Ron says not realizing Elisa was in ear shot until he was laying on the ground and she was running off
"Hermione go after Elisa make sure she is ok, Ron that was mean now come on buddy get up" Harry says holding out a hand to Ron
