This story starts way in the middle of the ocean far from Metropolis and Gotham City, in a futuristic town called MegaCity. In MegaCity, everything from the sidewalk to the buildings was hi-tech. The cars and trucks all flew and hovered, every door and window needs a hand scan to open and close, and do you know what else? Everyone in town gets their own robot!

Each robot looks exactly like their person just chrome colored with wheels built into the bottom of their feet. Anyhow, I'm getting off topic. We start our story on the conveyor belt sidewalk. We see an African-American 15-year-old boy with glasses humming down the sidewalk holding three old and used batteries. This boy's wearing a light blue T-shirt, dark blue shorts and black sneakers with green streaks. This boy's name is Aaron, and he is the main character of the story. Now to actually get to the story. As I was saying

Aaron was humming down the sidewalk/conveyor belt with the three old and used batteries in his hand. A few minutes later, he gets off the sidewalk to his two-story house. He presses his hand on the scanner, the door unlocks, and he enters saying, "I'm home!"

He walked around the house to see where everyone was. In the end, he found a note on the kitchen fridge that read,"Dear Aaron, your brother, sisters, and I went out to get some things for Winter Break. We'll be back soon. -Mom."

Aaron had almost forgot about Winter Break. Not that it mattered because each class in MegaCity High is ten seconds long. After Aaron read the note, he walked up the stairs to him and his little brother's room. In there was Aaron's deactivated robot, Aarondroid. Like I said before, each robot looks just like who they belong to. So for Aarondroid's description, just imagine Aaron but colored chrome all over, an antenna on each side of his glasses, had screens instead of glass on his glasses, a small green light on his chest, and one on the top left, middle, and right of his glasses, a circular compartment his chest below the green light, and three wheels on the bottom of each foot.

Anyway, like I said Aaron walked into his room to his deactivated robot, Aarondroid. He walked up to him, put his hand on his shoulder, and said,"Don't worry pal, my work's almost done." Aaron walked away from Aarondroid to this desk with a black box on it. Aaron pulled out the batteries from earlier and said,"Just what I need, lithium." He took the batteries, and put them in the box. The box started to shake and glow. Aaron quickly closed the box and held down the lid. When the box stopped shaking and glowing, Aaron opened the box, and saw a glowing green orb. "Finally, I perfected EnergyX." Aaron said.

EnergyX is an energy source Aaron's been perfecting for 2 weeks straight. With EnergyX, you can power anything up, and it'll never run out of power.

Aaron put on a pair of gloves, picked up the orb, and walked over to Aarondroid. He walked behind his robotic friend, over to a medium sized rectangular compartment on his back. He opened the compartment, and took out this big battery, and replaced it with the orb of EnergyX. Aaron then closed the compartment, and went to the front on Aarondroid. He pressed on the green light, that was actually a button, and it opened the circular compartment on his chest, which revealed his control panel. At the top of the control panel, was another green light/button. That's Aarondroid's power button. Aaron pressed the button and hopped that his mechanical look-alike would turn on.

"How are you feeling Aarondroid?" Aaron asked him. The screens on Aarondroid's glasses lit up with light blue and a small black square on each screen. "All systems A-OK." Aarondroid replied. Aaron had a relieved look on his face. He's been working on his robot for three and a half weeks.

It started when his family members all wrecked their robots. His mother's robot rusted when she forgot Elsie81 outside, unpowered, and in the rain for two days. Her sister, Aarielle accidentally pushed A-900 down the stairs and all of her systems went out of order. And his youngest siblings, D. Michael and Kelsey we're too young for robots. After the other bots became broken, Aaron's been trying to upgrade Aarondroid ever since. 2 weeks ago, he created Megmetal, a solid substance that can handle anything you throw at it. It can't be destroyed, melted, vaporized, dented, or scratched. The only way to give it shape is to create it in a certain shaped container. You already know about EnergyX. It's twelve times stronger than electricity. And if you add electricity to it gets stronger. However, you can't take electricity from it no matter how hard you try. With Aaron's Megametal and EnergyX, he made Aarondroid indestructible and extremely energized.

Anyway, a few minutes after the relief of Aarondroid's systems still working, Aaron and A.D., that's short for Aarondroid, we're checking out A.D.'s new upgrades in the front yard. They include multi purpose cannons, a cloaking system, extra projectile arms and legs, a battering ram, a multi tool, and many more. A few minutes into testing and Aaron saw his mom's hover car approaching the house.

As the car lowered onto the driveway, Mom, Aarielle, Kelsey, and D. Michael. got out. As soon as they got out Aaron said "Hey guys", then asked his mom,"Mom, the suspense is killing me, just tell us where we're going for Winter Break!" She replied saying,"Well Aaron, as you must know, for Winter Break we are going to..." The look on Aaron's face just tells you that he couldn't wait anymore. "...Metropolis!"
