" Jack, I want you to draw me like one of your french girls." Rose asked, holding on her golden headband, " Wearing this. Only this."
Shocked my her request, Jack Noir nodded. Rose fleed the room to change.
When she came back, Jack Noir looked up. Rose, bashfully smiled, embarrassed but determined to fulfill her request. She stood in front of Jack Noir, ever so slowly slipping off her robe that covered her bare body.
Jack Noir eyeing her, stunned he asked, " g-go over there and lie on the bed- I mean sofa"
Jack Noir had started drawing her as she settled herself and created her drawing.
"I'll never let go Jack." She shivered, holdin back her sob, " I'll never let go."
Rose stared at Jack Noir. He's head and hands holding onto her, Herself afloat on a door that was once the entrance to the ballroom. Jack started to shiver, more so than herself. Voices after voices started dying down, everything soon became very silent.
She sang a song, to keep both of them calm. The coldness and numbing feeling made her voice hoarse. A light shined. She shoke Jack, There was no response. She thought it couldn't be. She kept trying, She couldn't believe that he died. The realization hit her when the boat passed by, further and further away.
" I-I'll never let go" She promised. She won't let him down, she gently, painfully let go. She slide off the door and made her way to the man with the whistle, him no longer whitsling or alive. She took the whitsle in last hopes to call back the boat. The boat turned around and soon made it to her.
Some time passed after she was saved a Man requested her name.
" And your name, Luv?" He inquired.
" Noir. Rose Noir." She turned her head back to sky.
And that was the last I went on a ship. Captain Jade Harley, she died soon after when she was brought to medical care. Her Husband Dave and her were found on the bench afloat." Rose said, " I learned my mother and aunt had survived also. I never went back. "
" There are no records of a Jack noir thoug miss." One of the titanic recoving crew members said. She chuckled.
" Oh no, and I doubt there ever should. This was the only time I ever told anyone about Jack, Not even your Grandpa John." She hushed.
Even in her old age, Rose quickly left he room to the edge of the boat. Looking down, climbing the railing. She took the ring out of her pocket. The exact ring they were searching for, she looked down closing her eyes she dropped it into the Ocean.
She returned to her bed, Closing her eyes she imagined the Titanic how it was.
Smiling in her sleep, taking the last of her breath.
She was looking around at the people, climbing up the staircase lefting her white dress slightly. Making her way toward the man in from of the clock. Slowly her turned around. Jack Noir stood there smiling, Held out his hand for her and kissed her knuckles.
She smiled gently and kissed him. The crowd clapping and rejoicing.
EXTENDED
Roxy, her grand daughter walked into her room, and sat next to Rose. She noticed her smile, a smile she's never seen. She them looked at her hands folded across her chest. Gasping she checked her pulse, just in time to feel the last and her temperture drop.
Roxy slipped off her bed, " Grandma no... No."
tears soon filled her eyes, conflicted either if this is right, to die in the same place her true love is or that she had died the day she came back.
