Chapter 7
OSCORP INDUSTRIES
Norman Osbourne looked in the mirror of the restroom and washed his face.
"Water's not going to help you," Norman's reflection said in Green Goblin's voice.
"Why are you doing this to me?" Norman asked.
"You did it to yourself," Norman's reflection said. "You knew taking that serum ran risks. Now we are going to kill both of the Spider-Men."
"Mr. Osbourne?" a female voice asked from outside the restroom.
"Yes?" Norman asked.
"Peter Parker is here to see you," the voice replied.
Norman walked out of the restroom to see his secretary, Lainey.
"Yes, Lainey," Norman said. "Tell him I'll be right down."
A few minutes later, Norman exited the elevator into the lobby to see Alternate Peter.
"Peter Parker," Norman said. "Such a pleasure to see you. You know, Harry gets back from boarding school next week and is staying for the full summer."
"Can't wait," Alternate Peter said.
"Wonderful," Norman said. "Now what can I do for you?"
"Can we talk privately in your office?" Alternate Peter asked.
A few minutes later, Alternate Peter and Norman sat at Norman's desk.
"Can you keep a secret, Mr. Osbourne?" Alternate Peter asked.
"Of course, Peter," Norman replied. "What is it?"
"I'm Spider-Man," Alternate Peter said.
Norman's eyes got wide.
"You're Spider-Man?" Norman asked.
"Yes," Alternate Peter replied. "I actually got bitten by one of the spiders here in your lab. That's how I got my powers."
"Oh," Norman said.
"I've been keeping it a secret," Alternate Peter said. "But I'm only telling you this because I need your help."
"And what help would that be?" Norman asked.
"An alternate version of me came to this universe on a molecular and atomic level," Alternate Peter said. "Because of that, he's dying. The only way to save him is to get him back to his universe on a molecular and atomic level. He's growing weaker by the minute. I'm in desperate need of your technology."
"Of course, Peter," Norman said in a fake sincere tone. "I'd love to help you. Will you take me to this other Peter? I really want to meet him and see what I can do."
"Of course, Mr. Osbourne," Alternate Peter said, walking towards the door. "He's at my apartment. Come with me."
"Thank you, Peter," Norman said, smiling menacingly. "Thank you so much."
