Chapter 68: When Power Becomes Too Much Responsibility…
Gunga Villa…
The students of UA watch in horror at the field of carnage left behind from the villain's ace giant Gigantomachia. Many heroes have fallen from fighting against that villain, some unable to get back up either. Their lives have been spared at the last second thanks to those who came before them.
Kinoko finally breaks the fearful silence, saying, "It's horrible…"
"We went through all that," Kirishima says, holding an almost tearful Ashido by his side, "but nothing happened."
"It was just one vial though…" speaks Kendo/Battle Fist, unable to hold in her breath.
"But, he's still fighting…" Mineta cries, almost about to wet his pants. "Didn't we just make this worse?!"
Momo holds herself together. If she gives into fear, the others might break down too. Even though she's also visually torn seeing what happened. It makes her remember why Izuku always wears a mask in every costume variation.
She's having an even harder time keeping it together when it hits that the villains are making their way to where Izuku is. And she doesn't have enough fat to make it in time.
Her worries lessen seeing a jet fly perpendicular to their direction into the city.
Back to Action…
"And that's right; my whole story was prerecorded and is now broadcasted live for Japan to see," speaks Dabi as he twirls like a tricky magician.
Both father and son watch their respective eldest son and brother mockingly speak to them. Himiko steps aside watching and listening. 'Dabi was related to Endeavor?'
'Should have known. He always talked about him, and he has a fire Quirk,' speaks Carnage inside of her.
"Ever since that day when you replaced me, I've been thinking of what to do with you, to make you suffer. I had no purpose after all; all those years of crying to Natsu wasted. I figured killing Shoto eventually would do the trick, but Stain beat me to it lopping his arm off and putting you in the hospital. I had to wait for you to rebuild your reputation and then I'd finish you off! But, you got the Top Hero spot, giving me a chance."
Dabi, or Touya now, turns his back to them, still in his rant. "You finally got what you wanted, but it must have weighed on you, your actions. When you could finally look your family in their faces hoping you could put it all behind you, to let the past die, to become better…"
He chuckles. "I'll give you the answer since you're at a loss." Touya then turns around. "THE PAST NEVER DIES."
He heads directly for the Todoroki's. "You wanna use that power? You gotta accept the responsibility that it causes! So let's have a dance to the death with your precious son, father!"
The eldest Todoroki moves forward ready to make the kill. Endeavor, broken, mutters, "No… Touya is dead. This isn't possible-"
"Oh, please! Who didn't see this coming?!" Touya extends a hand out to blow him away. A wall of ice rises to strike him, but it does little against him.
"Endeavor, snap out of it!" Shoto shouts to his father. If he doesn't take action, they die.
All of the ice melts away, revealing Touya stepping forth with no damage to him. Smiling, he speaks, "There are some benefits to having a body that is only resistant to cold."
Shoto freezes up in fear seeing the man coming forth. Hearing that is enough confirmation for Endeavor; that is indeed his son. "THANKS FOR GOING STRONG, ENDEAVOR!"
Tenya jets forth in top gear, ready to kick Touya unconscious. Before he can, Himiko sends out tendrils to catch and wrap him up. She struggles to break free to no avail.
His body heats up to the limit. "Flashfire Fist!" Himiko steps back feeling the heat hit her and loosen the grip on Ingenium.
Ryukyu flies forward, back in her dragon form. She snarls attacking Touya with her claw, before being blown away by a powerful beam of pure heat. "PROMINENCE BURN!"
"RYUKYU!"
Her dragon scales hold out against the solar beam attack until it dissipates. At the end of it, Ryukyu falls reverting to her human form. Shoto catches her before her head can hit something hard, her regular skin showing second-degree burns.
Touya's flames disperse as he recovers, scuffing. "Oops. I guess those scales aren't there for nothing. What a shame how Endeavor's flames continue to destroy everything around him."
"DABI!" Ingenium dashes forth to kick him, striking him in the stomach with a roundhouse. The blue flame user rolls along the ground after the blow.
A knife impales his left arm after he lands, the blade piercing through his white armor easily. He cringes in pain and turns around to spot Himiko holding several blades in one hand. "Uh, uh, uh! This is a family affair; stay out of it!"
Still rearing from that blow, Touya gets back up patting his stomach. "Oof. Almost spat up my lunch." His eyes focus on Tenya, ready to set him aflame. But, Himiko's in the crossfire. Also, he needs to cool down for his big moment.
Endeavor gets up to make his stand but is immediately pushed back by Touya's boot. From son to father, he says, "Stay down, dad. I got something very special for you."
Tenya slams into the ground from the enlarged, outstretched arm of Carnage keeping him pinned. The owner walks to him with a thirsty look in her eyes. "Take a seat, bucko."
Not too far from their position, Izuku and Shigaraki continue their battle. Still, atop the building, the spider boy stretches his arms out as he pumps out One for All. 'One for All max output.' He then crosses his arms together holding his hands in a viper formation. Several tendrils of Black Whip shoot out in a spiral.
Shigaraki steps back as he shoots tendrils from his fingers to claw at and destroy the whips. Izuku's power entangles his opponent before they wrap around him, perfectly containing him. With him contained, Izuku releases sparks of One for All through the whips, causing Shigaraki to scream out in pain.
As more of the electricity sparks through his body, both the piece of Carnage inside of him and Shimura shriek like unholy monsters. Even pieces of his body become exposed. 'Yes! Just a little more!'
Shigaraki cries out further as the red goblin is constantly shocked. 'So painful! I can't break free!'

Both Shimura and Izuku flinch at the sound of that voice speaking from within the depths of their souls. 'Who was that?!'
A shockwave releases from their surroundings, spreading like a radar far across the field. Cell phones go on the fritz, television screens view static snow, and the Noumu stop dead in their tracks. Even worse, Gigantomachia holds still.
Izuku stops dead in his tracks.
"MASTER?" speaks Gigantomachia as he listens for the source of the voice.
Mr. Compress looks around listening as the monster speaks. 'Who is he talking to?'

"GRANDSON?" Gigantomachia looms around sniffing the air. His nose turns him over to Shimura's location. "YOU!"
After that, the sparks of One for All fall apart. The dark tendrils that hold the villain in place fade into wisps of darkness. "Black Whip!" he shouts suddenly.
Free, the red goblin repairs himself before laughing, sending his hand out to swipe at Izuku. The spider boy steps back to avoid the claws, but they extend just enough to leave a deep slash across his costume's spider mark. Clothing and blood go flying as Izuku falls over, rolling across the floor before correcting himself.
The spider boy then slams his hand to the floor, conjuring a smokescreen. Or, so he thought; nothing comes out of him. 'Why isn't this working?!'
"What are you doing?!" Binging balls fly out at Izuku, who jumps away. But then, the bombs change course and move right by his face. The balls explode, releasing a red splash of heat that rips away more of his costume including his mask.
It also knocks him clear off of the building, the spider boy crashing into the building.
Back with the Todoroki family, Touya stands tall with his gleeful grin of malice. He is ready to burn his family to cinders now, despite Gigantomachia coming their way. He's even clashing with Shoto, his left side not touching at him.
In the brilliance of their clash, Shoto still manages to talk. "Touya, you're my brother right?! Even if you hate me, what about your family? Your sister who misses you, your mother who loved you, your brother who you cried to every day!?"
"Oh yeah, I forgot about them," he callously replies, unfazed by the left flames of Shoto. "I wonder if they're all watching the broadcast; they better be. It'd hurt dad if I had sent those PLF guys their way had you not shown up too early."
"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!"
"What, did you forget who you're talking about? Your big brother ain't got tear ducts anymore so he ain't too big on feelings." Touya then grabs Shoto by the collar, his blue flare roasting his little brother. "And now, I get to kill you after all."
Tenya gets slammed into the floor painfully, courtesy of Himiko Toga using Carnage parts. She coos, whispering, "Hehhhhh... makes me wish I did something like that to them."
It comes to a head when Shoto forces himself to make a move. 'I see… he was just like me…' Ice covers his right half to cool himself, but nothing can stop the damage he's taking from his brother. "Touya! You've been through a lot, haven't you? So have I. We both hated dad, with everything we had! Even now, I still despise him."
Hearing this, Touya keeps the burn going. Still bleeding, Endeavor watches helplessly while forcing himself to move. But between his overheated body, the impalement, and the blood loss fighting those Noumu, he's having trouble getting back up. If only he could have cooled down when he dropped in.
"There was a time when we were attacked by Stain, he cut my arm off, and dad was paralyzed," Shoto continues, getting Touya to smirk.
"Oh, yeah. I loved that scene! I would kiss the ground Stain walked on if I had thicker lips!"
"I used my flames to save him, but, deep down, I kind of regretted it. I wanted him dead." Here, Touya finally lessens up. "But… I wanted to be a hero. I wouldn't be able to do that if I couldn't let go of my hatred. Otherwise, I would end up like you."
"What's this, pity?" The elder Todoroki resumes a full-power blast. "Hero society is falling apart at its seams, and you're trying to pity someone like me?! I mean, I don't blame you, but you're the last person I want it from!"
The blast sends Shoto back to the ground, the boy struggling to get back up. 'He's too strong!'
Gigantomachia comes closer, the mole armor forming around him. "You chose the wrong side, anyway. The world now knows just how despicable heroes are! Justice is going down once and for all."
The jet finally makes its way to their location, and down from above drop denim fabric slowly flowing down to wrap up the behemoth. Such an act catches Touya's attention, who looks up in time to see someone sliding down like a firefighter.
"Sorry, I'm late. But, Best Jeanist is off sabbatical." Yes, it's true. The former Number 4 hero is back in action. And alive.
The thick fabric entangles Gigantomachia and forces him down, restraining the powerful bodyguard. Some also shoot down at Touya, the flame villain heating himself to incinerate any that get close. "What the hell is this poor writing?! You're supposed to be dead!"
"It was - I'll have to wash my mouth after this - a rational deception for my recovery and to become a secret weapon against you villains." Best Jeanist lands with a crouch before tightening his hold to restrain the villains. He also catches Mr. Compress and Iguchi.
Himiko runs away to avoid the vines, leaving Ingenium on the ground.
Gigantomachia growls as he attempts to break free, his superior strength holding up against the many wires.
Seeing Best Jeanist doing everything he can to keep Gigantomachia restrained, Touya aims his hand up to roast him tenderly. "Touya!" That is until his father calls out to the boy.
"Oh, getting back up?" he jeers, his hand still on the denim hero. "You have to wait your turn, old man. Once Shoto is in cinders, you'll be free to do whatever."
"Touya…" Endeavor begins with his eyes delirious from the heat and his tone coarse and improper. "It would be foolish to go about apologizing to you now, after everything you've been through. Just know, that it was still…"
He pushes himself up, almost mimicking Gigantomachia. "It was with great joy… to find out… you're still alive."
Flames generate on his feet. "But now, you're a villain… and I have… to make this right, for now!"
Touya extends the hand to Endeavor, anticipating that the hero will attack him outright. But instead, the flame hero bursts into the air. He crashes into the skull of the gigantic villain, knocking him over. Endeavor bleeds from the impact and falls, that being his last act, and Gigantomachia tips over like a tree chopped at its base.
"STRENGTH… ALL GONE…" The behemoth crashes into the ground, releasing a huge thud noise as a result. Gigantomachia is down.
"Wait, what?!" Touya shouts in shock. His big scheme is coming apart. There is no way that bastard father of his could have knocked that powerhouse out so easily.
"TOUYA!" Shoto presses forward to attack his brother.
"Change of plans, little brother." Touya hits his hated sibling with a burst of flames.
"TODOROKI!" shouts Iida in horror seeing Shoto getting blown back. The tendrils hardened around him have finally started melting from the surrounding heat, as well as the exhaust coming out of his legs.

'Wait, who was that?!' Himiko flinches at the new voice. 'Carny?'
'Your boss is gonna need your help,' is Carnage's voice, a far different tone than the person who spoke.
'What about the others?!' OF course, Carnage doesn't answer. Having had enough of this bullshit, the red Symbiote completely morphs her body to take over.
Carnage summons blood axes and fires them up at the cables attempting to restrain her and then on Compress, before grabbing him. She then shoves the masked magician into her body, absorbing him. "Dabi, you coming or not?!"
"Luckily for you…" Touya watches as Shoto falls over. "If Enji Todoroki's unconscious, this little play has no meaning. Enjoy your life for the moment, Mr. Success." He then runs off, leaving to assist as more Noumu roam the field heading in Best Jeanist's direction.
With them gone, Iida finally breaks free. One Noumu with stone features sticking out of it and the knuckle man moves in at Best Jeanist. "No, you don't!" He shifts into turbo and blasts forth, planting a roundhouse kick to that Noumu's face.
Two more come at him from behind in retaliation. They reach him, claws ready to tear him apart.
"POWER!"
"BAM!"
Here is where the duo of Lemillion and Nejire-chan come in and strike the villains, the former using a punch to the face and the latter a pinpoint blast with her energy spirals.
"Lemillion! Nejire!" Tenya says with relief.
The stone brawler comes back for Tenya, having tanked his attack from earlier. Another voice screams, "DIE," and sends it flying across the field.
"Dynamight!" Mirio says as the ash-blond dude arrives in time.
Seeing Best Jeanist, a large smile wants to spread across his mouth. Some weeping comes along with it. "Best Jeanist, you're alive…"
The thread using hero smiles under his jean mask, saying, "I can explain later, but it's great to see you've grown in my absence."
"Of course. The god of explosive murders Dynamight is here to stay!" he declares, causing the others to cringe at the stupid, tacky name.
Nejire fires her attack at her target again, before soaring higher. She avoids claws coming at her this way, saying, "We finally got enough civilians away to send help against these things."
Mirio passes through a punch before clocking a Noumu in the jaw. "Looks like the sedative worked on the big guy finally."
"Indeed. Without their thread of hope, this quilt of salvation never would have been sewn," speaks Best Jeanist as armored police officers arrive to provide their support. Two help take Endeavor and Shoto away to safety. "Ingenium, get going! They're heading for Shigaraki."
"On it!" Tenya takes a running pose before releasing blue flames from his exhausts. "I'll have to save that when I need to."
At max speed, Tenya dashes forth to reach the battlefield.
Elsewhere…
Hurt and bleeding, Izuku slumps against a wall as he faces Shigaraki, the red goblin cackling as the madman that he is as he comes closer. The green spider pulls his hand out and aims, ready to use the electricity of One for All. 'One more blow at full power will be able to destroy the remains of that Carnage Symbiote.'
But as he fires, only small sparks shoot out before fizzing away. Nothing extends out. "… eh?"
"Well, looks like you're out of options." The goblin cackles once more as he walks forward. Izuku remains silent as he tries to think of a way out of this.
Watching the fight while holding her bleeding arm, Shino pants asking herself, "What's going on? Why is he running out of power?"
A binging ball with Carnage's essence appears from his right hand. "No more sparks, no dark whips, and no more power; now you're just a spider."
Angered, Izuku holds his shoulder before taking a deep breath. 'Arachne, it didn't work. Can Eri's Quirk not work on One for All? Or, was there something else?'
He doesn't get a response and instead focuses on his opponent. 'Looks like the plan failed; I need another way to stop him.'
What he now recognizes as his spider-sense, Izuku jumps away avoiding the biting ball bomb. It stops in midair and changes course, aimed directly at the green spider. Thinking fast, Izuku turns invisible to avoid the bomb. Surprised, it looks around for the spider.
To its surprise, the ball is thrown back into Shigaraki's face. This makes it detonate in his face, blowing away most of his Symbiote's body. The crimson monster roars as he repairs himself, looking around for him. 'That crafty brat…'
A thought then enters his mind as he goes over to a more populated area of the city that has avoided Gigantomachia's rampage. Invisible, Izuku follows after to try and stop him, even though he can't anymore.
'I don't have One for All's electricity anymore so I can't destroy the Symbiote. Shigaraki has some sort of fire Quirk, which gives him heat resistance…' Izuku continues to wrack his brain to look it over. 'The only other option is sound, but Jirou is over at the villa along with Momo.'
Hidden from their movement, Mandalay watches from down below as they go. 'Shigaraki.' Angered, the cat heroine draws a pistol from her left leg. "Kotaro Shimura was the one responsible for all of this, so it's only right this works."
Shigaraki stands atop a building looking down at everyone below. Heroes and civilians alike flee from him to spare themselves his destruction. With his arms spread out, the red goblin steps to the edge of the building flexing his fingers. Binging balls form from his body and fly out, spreading through the city. 'That might be my limit for Binging Balls, but I can handle this.'
Izuku follows landing on the side of the building. "I know you're still here, Spider-Man, so listen in; we had a deal. I would spare your mother if you never became the hero Deku again. I believed that you cared more about her than before a hero, and I was wrong. Because you heroes care about everyone."
A bolt of lightning strikes not far from their location, shocking Izuku in horror. The red goblin sneers as he continues. "Everyone is far too busy fighting the Noumu and the league as well as rescuing people to care about me. My goblin balls will be going around looking for Inko Midoriya, so how long do you think that will take?"
"You bastard!" Snapping, Izuku lunges at Shigaraki with a powerful kick to his jaw. Though he takes the blow, he backhands the spider into a wall, having him hang off the roof.
"There you are." Shigaraki then plods forth, flames emitting from his palms. He shoots flames, hitting Izuku so hard he cries out in pain.
Meanwhile, Inko after being passed over is with Hagakure making their way to the other evacuees. As they do, three goblin balls follow them close from above.
"The heat is on, Deku. But it won't kill you." Shigaraki continues to keep the flames on him. "You chose to be a hero, so suffer for it!"
He shifts his head to the left when he spots someone else coming at him. Moving aside, Shigaraki dodges a kick to the head from the Ghost Spider. This zero gravity arachnid lands in a slide while facing the red goblin, his eyes narrowing in annoyance. Seeing her, the villain says, "Well, if it isn't the first success."
"Shigaraki…" growls Ochako, an unsettling rage revealed in her eyes after removing her mask.
"Why so angry? You achieved great power that you can use however you wish, and gained a chance to be the hero you wanted so dearly."
"Do you expect me to say thank you?!" Ochako snaps, her canines exposed with her rage. "You didn't save me; you stole me from my family!"
"Tomato, potato," says the scientist flippantly.
"From the very beginning, I knew that I could never rest and move on until I worked to put you and Garaki away for good." Still crouching, she whispers to the green spider, "Deku, how many shuriken bombs do you have left?"
"Just one left," he whispers back.
"When it's off of him, destroy it."
"When what's off?" Without clarity, Ochako rushes forward with her fists clenched.
Shigaraki extends his hand and shoots fire at her. She leaps over the flames avoiding it, quickly reaching him. She then lifts her hands to her mouth, biting on the gloves she wore. Pulling them off, she drops the gloves and flips over Shigaraki as he swipes at her, intending to shatter her to pieces. As she grazes his shoulder and makes her landing, Shigaraki turns around quickly and grabs her right arm.
"You're both equally slow." Shigaraki slams her into the roof, leaving cracks in its wake. He then tosses her back to Izuku.
The green spider catches his white spider partner, just as his spider-sense goes off. 'Ah, nuts.' She then detonates, the explosion strong enough to send them both flying.
As the dust clears, both spiders lift their heads and spot the damage on her. Her right arm is completely busted and burnt, the clothing singed. Ochako cringes holding her breath as the pain hits her nerves.
With a kick, parts of the building drop down upon the spiders due to Shigaraki. Izuku picks Ochako up and jumps away, avoiding the attack with everything he has. But then he gets blasted by a stream of fire, causing him to cry out until tripping over debris.
Down and battered, Izuku holds Ochako close while catching his breath. Shigaraki cackles before going on the prowl. He then flinches before smiling. "Well, it looks like one of my bombs found her."
Shigaraki laughs as he lands, nearing the spiders while holding his hand up. "You still need to live through that despair, but she's a nuisance that will be shattered apart."
Just as he raises his hand to make his move, his eyes catch a sight he never thought he'd see. The crimson of Carnage is lifting off of his arm. "Wait…" He then checks the rest of his body, where it is fairly obvious that he's losing the Symbiote. Its essence levitates upward, collecting together in a floating puddle 35 feet in the air.
"NO!"
'OH, that's what she meant!' Once the plan hits him, Izuku immediately draws a shuriken. With a flick of the fingers, he unfolds the weapon and throws it.
Now that the Symbiote is no longer on him anywhere inside of him, Shimura, the villain leaps up to grab the Symbiote. But before he can reach it, Ochako is already on him. She drops kicks him into a wall, before shooting webbing from her left hand to contain him.
The shuriken impacts the glob and detonates. All of its remains incinerate from the explosion. Ochako lands next to Izuku before they give each other a fist bump. All of the binging balls around the area drop down, unable to detonate any longer.
"Using Zero Gravity to remove the Symbiote… I didn't think that would work. How did you?"
"It was all I had honestly," she replies, holding her charred arm. "But, you'd be surprised how Quirks affect aliens."
After nodding to one another, their senses warn them of the building shattering apart. Shimura descends angrily, facing his two opponents despite his precarious situation. He isn't as weak due to the experiment, but his body lacking Carnage means he lacks the healing factor to handle Weather Control.
"Not to mention-" He suddenly twitches, holding his heart in pain. The red cracks return around his body slowly, forcing him to a knee. 'I can't beat these two while I have One for All inside of me.'

'Wait… master?' Shimura lifts his head hearing his voice again, as does Izuku in the depths of his mind.
Shimura grips his head as he feels something painful stabbing into his mind. The villain then stretches his hand out, releasing flames from Fire Palm.
Both of the spiders leap up to avoid the flames, before coming at Shimura screaming, "Spider Kick!" The two deliver a flying side kick together, kicking Shimura through the walls of the building behind him.
Seeing the villain beaten down, the two look to one another and back to him. The red cracks have metastasized further throughout his body, causing him further pain. 'Why? It was feeling better earlier.'
"We'll have to knock him out so he doesn't try to use his Decay Quirk," Izuku says as he adjusts his web-shooters. Luckily, due to spamming Black Whip, he has enough fluids for his webbing.
Arachne watches from the back of his mind at Shimura. She nods while watching as if things are going according to plan. 'They are.'
Ochako then flinches looking around. "Someone is coming for us."
The spiders glare back to see a figure up above coming down for them. They both jump away to avoid the firestorm that would have roasted them. Touya Todoroki lands in blue flames, performing a stylish landing. "That's a nice trick you guys got, that spider-sense or whatever."
"He sure came in hot for that landing," Izuku says while getting back up, feeling the wounds he's suffered over time catching up to him. He glances back over to Shimura still on the ground, who seems rather catatonic.
He and Ochako prepare for his next move, knowing that he'll be ready to blast them. That is when he speaks, "Whoa, whoa. Now, no need for that. I ain't got the strength to handle you powerhouse insects."
His eyes turn just behind Ochako, resulting in him smiling after what he sees. "Of course, power is irrelevant when leverage is applied."
Taking the hint, both of the spiders glance at a nearby alley, where the light shines through fallen debris to show Carnage with Mandalay in her grasp. Izuku immediately shouts, "Shino," upon seeing her, understanding that things have just gotten worse. Carnage is faster than both of them.
"Now, let him go…" she demands, tightening her grip on the cat woman while grinning.
Hands forced, Izuku steps away from Shimura. That's when the events take place.
Shimura gets back up quickly, slapping Izuku away and covering his face with the blood from his hand. He then beats feet for Carnage, while at the same time, the crimson Symbiote throws Mandalay at them.
While he's moving, Ingenium II nears the scene. It takes him a couple of seconds to process that they need his help; it takes slightly less time for him to switch gears. His engines extend as several bursts of his exhaust go off. 'If I use that, I'll probably hit the wrong person as I can't control it. So…' He screams, "Recipro Burst," before taking off.
At a speed many of them are unprepared for, Tenya arrives on the scene and slams his feet into Carnage's back. She slides against the floor with heavy friction, bashing into Shimura. The impact shatters Shimura's left-hand fingers, already brittle from One for All's immense power, and knocks an item out of Carnage's body.
Izuku has also leaped to catch Mandalay, rolling in the air to avoid the painful collision. "Shino, are you okay?"
"Izuku…" she whispers, a little bit of swooning from his rescue.
Carnage gets back up, just as Shimura whispers something in her ears. Confused, she asks, "Are you sure?"
Shimura simply nods before placing his hand on her face. A red flare goes off after, setting off the spider-sense.
"Stop him! He's up to something!" Izuku says as Ochako and Tenya go forth to strike the villains.
Before they can touch her, radio waves release from her in a spread net. Carnage then grabs Dabi and leaps high up in the air, leaving Shimura on the ground abandoned. Ochako and Tenya ascend to catch them, only for a winged terror of a Noumu to catch them.
Using a web-line, Ochako pulls Tenya closer before lightening him with her Quirk. She then throws him at the escaping villains. But before he can catch them, his engines sputter. 'Blast. But, I can still catch them!'
But then, more Noumu arrive to barricade his path. Forced to stop, Ochako returns his weight allowing him to fight better before she joins in on the fight. Carnage and Touya watch as their Noumu allies get them to safety.
"Ah, this sucks," Himiko says through the alien, exposing her head. "We're leaving Giganta, Shiggy, and the others behind."
"Who cares," says Touya with a scuff. "… now I need to figure something to do with that old bastard in case he didn't break."
Himiko glances at her fingers, holding two things. "This better work."
High up in the skies, a lone figure watches the entire incident through a lens. It passes away from the target before the person flees.
With Tomura, he collapses falling face forward. Izuku watches as the others leave. Since the Noumu are busy helping the villains escape, they've all but abandoned them. Still, someone has to make sure Shimura doesn't escape until the police arrive. On the plus, he spies with his little eye the metal containment unit for his spider armor suit.
Mandalay holds her neck, rubbing the bruise left in place. She then checks herself. "Oh no."
"What?" Izuku asks, his eyes still on Shimura and his surroundings. Police officers approach the scene as Izuku turns to get a bigger grasp of what that means.
"She took it."
Kei: And wow, we got this done a lot sooner than expected.
