Author's note: Here it is! The last tidbit before I start working on the sequel! The first chapter of the sequel will be out by August first, so I hope you stick around until then!

It was the end of the day, the last birthday party. A little kid dashed away from the birthday party, playing tag with a little girl, twin braids waving as she ran after the little boy.

Their parents talking mindlessly at one of the tables, fingers drumming on the laminated tablecloth as their children ran amok.

6 years old to the day and Tyler still hadn't enough sense in his little head to watch where he was running.

He ran full force into the tarp, slipping and landing on the floor with a thump. Tyler laughed, too caught up in the game to cry.

He slid into the loose space under the tarp, blue fabric crinkling as he slipped inside.

She would never find him in here!

The perfect place to catch his breath.

No faster than he had slid inside, the kid noticed one thing about the room. Little lungs heaving from exertion, there was no way to escape the smell.

It was sort of like when he had snuck the deviled eggs from thanksgiving dinner, hiding them in his closet because mom had said only three. He had forgotten about the eggs, and mom hadn't been happy when the smell finally become noticeable.

This smell was more than noticeable.

To put it simply, the place reeked of death.

"Mommy!"

Cade arrived to the sound of sirens.

He rushed forward, heart racing at the commotion in the parking lot. Was there an accident? A body? Did somebody find William?

Cade had known simply boarding up the room with the body had been a bad idea, but the manager had said that it was too hard to remove the springlocks.

Cade stopped.

And there he was.

The manager of Freddy's. Kennedy Blackwood, in all of his intimidating, shadowy glory, bent over the trunk of a police car with hands cuffed behind his back.

He spat some words, screamed with all of his breath that"The animatronics did it, the animatronics did it!"

He broke away from the police officers, sprinting towards Cade.

Cade took a step back, but was nearly knocked to the ground, surprised. When Blackwood was pulled away, a hastily scrawled note had slipped out of his pocket and onto the ground beside Cade.

What?

He bent down, picking it up. Blackwood made eye contact with Cade, before looking down at the note in the other man's hands.

Cade nodded, and the manager let himself be led away into the back of the police car.

Cade stuffed the note in his pocket and walked away quickly, joining the crowd as the police ushered people out of the building.

"If i go down robots go down to. Circus b aby pizza. Ask 4 Henry. Lips sealled now."

The note was obviously written in a hurry, spelling dismal and handwriting shaky.

Scott didn't know how to feel about it, but Cade insisted it was important.

"He's going to jail I tell you! No, not jail, they're gonna to write him off as insane. He was screaming about the animatronics for god's sake!"

Cade tapped the note again, pressing the wrinkled paper into the table.

"This was his last message to us. It!s gotta be something important."

Scott nodded, looking at the note as if he could decider it's meaning if he just stared hard enough.

He reached into his pocket, pulling out his phone and flipping it open.

"I'm getting Mike and Fritz."

Author's note: Next fanfic= After the events of (In)security, the animatronics and spirits are adjusting to their new life, while the human cast try to understand their former boss's cryptic message. Deep underneath, unknown horrors are determined to get out, and only the help of a few more damned souls can convince them to chose peace.

"What do you mean let them live with you!?"

"They're just kids!"

"I'm Chloe, but you can call me Eggs. Now get out before you kill us all!"

"I… I didn't mean to… It was supposed to be a gift. All kids like ice cream, right?"
