Xero tried to relax as she sat on an empty bench, the thoughts of the past few days running through her head. What Niki had said, and what she and her boyfriend were asking of not just her, but Zero. And that all was reliant on the possibility of Zero and her being together romantically. Xero closed her eyes and shook her head in frustration as she found herself dwelling on what she had said, and more importantly, what she had wanted to say.

"You ok," an all too familiar voice said to her.

She lifted her head to Zero, who calmly sat next to her on the bench.

"yea, "she said as she whipped her eyes. "There is just a lot going on."

"You want to talk about it," he asked calmly.

"I just don't know if I can," Xero said as her mind raced to find a way out of confessing all she wanted to say right then and there. "Not here, not like this," she thought to herself.

It was then that she had remembered the book in her coat, the one she had found between Zero's bed and wall. "I have to tell him what I've done," she thought to herself, unsure how he would react.

"Ok," she finally said. "When I fell asleep on your bed for the first time, I found this," she said as she removed the book from her coat.

She lowered her head in shame and could hear the audible gasp from him as he quickly snacked the book from her, both surprised to see it here and in her possession. "I was intrigued and curious," she said. "Even jealous," she said honestly. "You know so much about my past. My last name, how I cope with issues, even my birthday routine. I thought maybe, I could learn more about you." She kept her head low, waiting for him to say how much he hated her or yell at her on how she had betrayed his trust. "it's all warranted," she thought.

He only looked at her for a solid minute, contemplating what to say and what he thought. "Did you read from it?" he finally asked.

She only took a deep breath and gave an honest answer. "No." it was then that she lifted her head and looked at him. "I was tempted to know more, but I knew it was wrong to take this from you. I am so sorry."

They sat in silence as Xero contemplated how far she could run from this self-created problem.

"I believe you, and I forgive you," he finally said. "I know if you had read it, you wouldn't look at me the same way again. On the streets, you learn a few lessons real quick. How to robe, cheat and steal. I spent a long time doing just that. I was not a good guy." He then turned to her. "Then I was given a second chance, not just once but twice. When I pushed them away, they showed me sympathy."

"So your not mad at me," she asked, genuinely confused.

"I can't say I am happy for what you did, but I can acknowledge that I have been secretive of my past, or at least what I know of it. I promise to tell you what I know when we get home. Just promise me next time to talk next time."

"I promise," she said as she finally looked at him, whipping her eyes for what felt like the billionth time that day.

Zero quickly engulfed her in a hug, and she could feel the waterworks beginning again. "I'm sorry," she said in between tears.

He gently rocked the both of them and said, "it's ok, it's ok."

His hug was suddenly cut short as he stopped and rose from his seat. "I think I need some cotton candy," he said as he whipped his own eyes. "You want some too?"

"Yes, please," Xero said as she whipped her eyes. "Blueberry, please."

He turned to leave but then suddenly stopped and turned to her. "By the way, I got a few tickets from that ring toss," he said as he showed her the three tickets.

She just smiled warmly at him. "Looks like someone gots some skills," she said jokingly, trying to lighten the mood.

"While I agree with you," he said with obviously false pride, "I think you'll have better use for the tickets than I will," he said, extending his tickets out to her.

She slowly reached out to him and accepted them.

"Go buy something nice," he said as he tilted his head to one of the many prize booths.

As he walked away from her to find the cotton candy booth, it was at this moment that Xero realized something. Despite what she had done, she still felt loved. And whether he loved her back or not, she loved him. And she finally felt ready to tell him.

Susan watched anxiously as the elevator descended to the detention level.

"Cameras are on a delay," Katz asked again quietly.

"Yes," Susan said numbly.

"I'm going after Jay," Katz finally said after a moment of silence.

I'll find Juno," Susan said as she patted down the key on her stolen uniform.

"What about me?" Mole asked from Susan's hip, still in his flashlight disguise.

"You'll stay with Susan, MOLE unit," Katz said. "When this is all over, Xero and Zero can have their families back."

Xero looked in awe at all the prizes, including snacks, puzzles, stuffed animals, and other small nick-nacks and trinkets.

"Well howdy," a tall blonde woman behind the booth said as she approached Xero. "what catches your fancy?"

Xero's eyes darted all along the booth, still in awestruck by all of the prizes. "I'm not sure," she said as she tried to determine what she wanted. "If you were getting something for someone special, what would it be?"

The woman thought for a moment and finally said, "stuffed animals tend to do the trick."

Xero's eyes darted between the selection of large, small, bizarre, and standard stuffed animals.

That was until she saw the perfect prize. While not the biggest, this prize was of two teddy bears, one was blue with dark blue overalls, and the other one was pink with white overalls. Their hands were connected with what looked like velcro, able to come together and apart.

"It's perfect," Xero said as she pulled out all of her tickets (and the 3 Zero had given her).

The woman went through the process of counting the tickets as Xero jumped with glee.

"Here you are," the woman said as she pulled down the bears from their spot.

As Xero took them, she couldn't help but hug the pair of bears. "Thank you," she said as she started to turn.

"Hold up," the woman said, "you still got three tickets left,"

"What can I do with three tickets," Xero asked as her eyes lit up more as she spotted an item just within the tickets range.
