Chapter 32: The Click, Part 3

Down in the subway station, Jolanta and her friends were waiting for a subway train to stop.

"Ok… We're almost there at a checkpoint in the city of Radom." Rostek said. "Hopefully all goes smoothly while we take this train ride…"

Kwiat saw something from a far distance to her left.

"I think that's the one." Kwiat said.

There was a train and it stopped. The doors were opened. Jolanta and her friends got on the train to take their seats. While that was happening, Ciema saw the train.

"Now to find a shadow somewhere on that train without them realizing I'm here…" Ciema said.

On the train, Jolanta and her friends were sitting, taking the ride to Radom. Jolanta was looking out the window. Rostek was standing while the train continued to ride. Kwiat, Zegar and Marcelina were sitting, looking at one another without saying a word.

"Since when did we all get quiet?" Rostek wonders.

"Don't know." Marcelina replied. "But I'm kinda nervous for some reason."

"Nervous? To get to a checkpoint?" Kwiat said. "I don't see anything wrong with being nervous."

"I guess, but… It's nothing, really…"

"Ok?"

In another cart of the subway train, Ciema teleported to that away where there was a shadow of someone's briefcase that someone had while riding the train.

"I'm here…" Ciema said as she looked at the man. "Hi."

"Hi?" The man said, confused.

"Pretend that never happened, ok?"

"Sure?"

Ciema then felt the train stopping at another station.

"Not yet, which is good, because they must be in the front of this train, since I picked the last cart here." Ciema said. "Time for another attack."

Back to Jolanta and her friends, Zegar looked at his watch.

"Only 6:38PM…" Zegar said. "How long do you guys expect us to arrive in Radom?"

"Probably until 7PM." Marcelina replied.

"Maybe before that." Jolanta replied.

"Or maybe how this train is faster than most vehicles here, maybe… Yeah, maybe before 7PM." Kwiat replied.

"Well, I'll just say that I can wait until whatever time the train stops at Radom." Rostek replied.

Then, the train stopped again.

"Not there yet…" Jolanta said while looking out the window.

"Well keep looking out." Rostek said. "Just to check if we actually arrive in Radom."

Then, Rostek turned away to see something.

"Hmm?" Rostek wondered as he took a closer look to see a shadowy stick figure. "OH SHIT!"

"What's wrong?!" Zegar said.

"Ciema is here on this train! Her Stand somehow teleported her here!"

Everyone got up to stay away from the shadowy stick figure.

"It's not moving…" Kwiat said.

Jolanta continues to look out the window.

"The next station we'll reach is in approximately 3 minutes!" Jolanta said.

"3 minutes?!" Marcelina said.

"It's enough for us to try and get away from Ciema and her Stand!"

Another shadowy stick figure appeared from a distance.

"There is another one!" Kwiat shouted.

Ciema, meanwhile, had her Stand, The Click, activated.

"Looks like they're not attacking…" Ciema said. "Looks like we're reaching Radom in about 2 minutes…" Once the train stops, I'll follow them, which is when the stick figures The Click creates will guide me to them!"

2 minutes later, the train stopped. Jolanta looked out the window.

"Ok! We're in Radom!" Jolanta said. "Let's get out!"

Jolanta and her friends got out of the train. Ciema got out to follow them.

"They won't get to Sara!" Ciema shouted. "The checkpoint is only 5 miles away! I can't have them get to it!"

Outside of the subway station, Jolanta and her friends were out of breath.

"Shit…" Kwiat said. "We couldn't even fight on a subway train…"

"Exactly…" Rostek said. "But Ciema might show up any second now…"

Ciema was then seen walking up the stairs. Reaching to the surface, The Click and two of its shadowy stick figures appeared.

"Looks like you five are gonna fall to me." Ciema said. "Starting now!"

Ciema, The Click and the two shadowy stick figures then rush towards Jolanta and her friends. The Click then paralyzed Kwiat, Rostek and Marcelina with its eyes. The two shadowy stick figures then got a hold of Zegar. Zegar tried to use Time After Time to skip time for 5 seconds to get away from the crowd, but the shadowy stick figures hold onto Zegar's shadow.

"Fuck! I can't get them off!" Zegar shouted.

Jolanta turned to Ciema.

"You and me, Jolanta…" Ciema said. "Now, show me what you can do!"

Jolanta chuckled a bit.

"What's so funny?" Ciema asked.

"There's something wrong here…" Jolanta replied. "Your Stand, The Click, yes? It seems that it has a weakness."

"Weakness?"

"I can sense that it can control three people and only three people with its three eyes."

"Yeah, and?"

"Heh heh heh… That's all The Click can do, right? Aside from teleporting?"

Ciema looks down all of a sudden.

"You think you're so smart, huh Jolanta?' Ciema said. "You think I'm gonna be at a disadvantage?"

Cieka looks at Jolanta again with a smirk.

"I didn't think so…" Ciema said.

The Click then summoned another shadowy stick figure to approach Jolanta.

"I knew that using 2 on that train was correct for this fight!" Ciema shouted. "It's over for you and your friends!"

Jolanta then brings out Cherry Bomb to punch the air, when in reality, Cherry Bomb's shadow is punching the shadowy stick figure, causing Jolanta to take damage.

"DAAAH!" Ciema shouted as she took damage. "Fuck…"

Jolanta and Cherry Bomb then approached Ciema.

"Shit!" Ciema shouted. "The Click, protect me!"

The Click appeared as Ciema's shadow, but when it slowly rises as a Stand, Cherry Bomb grabs its neck.

"Ah! It-It's grabbing… The Cl-Cl-Click's… Neck!" Ciema shouted. "Can't… Breathe…"

"I can also sense something…" Jolanta said. "Your sister made you turn your back against those that you love in this country… I'm sorry, but take this as a lesson to turn out for the better…"

Cherry Bomb then performed its rush attack on Ciema.

"MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA!" Cherry Bomb shouted as one more punch sent Ciema flying down to the subway station.

The 2 shadowy stick figures near Zegar then disappeared.

"Holy shit… That's done and over with!" Zegar said.

Everyone then gathered again.

"Excellent work, Jolanta." Rostek said.

"Thanks." Jolanta said. "I did one for the team. Anyway, that checkpoint shouldn't be far, so let's go there to see what's up…"

Everyone nodded as they headed to the checkpoint.

"We're gonna take you down, Sara…" Jolanta said in her head. "Just you wait…"

Back down in the subway station, Ciema slowly got up with tears slowly rolling down from her eyes.

"Always happens to me…" Ciema softly said. "I always felt like that I'm turning out…"

Ciema slowly got up with a frown.

"Jolanta Joswiak… You're right, somehow…" Ciema said. "I think I'm still turning out… For the better... Or for the worst... My future is still deciding how I'm gonna be turning out…"

Ciema slowly goes up the stairs.

"Sara… All of this… Lead me to this moment… I can't believe you would make me and Dizin do something like this…" Ciema said. "Jolanta… Take her down, if you can…"
