Chapter 41: Slow Down Sister & King Kunta, Part 1

~JULY 25TH, 2024, 12PM~

A twin brother and sister were in a park.

"So… Cibor…" The sister said.

"Yeah, Dita?" Cibor said.

"You remember the plan Sara gave us?" Dita asked.

"Of course." Cibor replied. "There is a lamp that will arrive later today which will have Dizin in it… Dizin will give us orders on how we can defeat the Surviving Peacemakers…"

"Yes, that is the plan. I'm glad that you didn't remember…"

"I mean I do forget a couple of things, but it's in my nature."

Dita laughed a bit.

"Yeah, it really is in your nature." Dita said. "Ok, enough fooling around! Let's wait for our targets to show up!"

~12:15PM~

Jolanta, Kwiat, Rostek and Marcelina were waiting for Ciema and Iz.

"They are a little late." Kwiat said. "Like it's only a 5 minute walk to get to this street that they wanted us to go to."

"Oh! I see them!" Jolanta said.

They saw Ciema and Iz walking.

"How come you're on your crutches?" Marcelina asked.

"I have a prosthetic leg." Iz replied. "Just so I can walk well."

Iz showed them her prosthetic leg.

"Oh, I see." Marcelina replied.

"Yeah, she doesn't need them now that she has this prosthetic leg." Ciema said.

"And you look young." Jolanta said to Iz.

"Yes, I haven't aged since I became a teenager." Iz said as she chuckled a bit. "Now I'm 28 years old."

"28? I see…"

"You're older than all of us." Rostek said.

"Heh heh… Yeah…" Iz said.

About a mile away from them, two homeless men were fighting over a lamp both of them found.

"Hey! Give it to me! I need to shed some light for once!" One man shouted.

"Pfft! Ain't giving you that lamp!" The other man shouted. "It's mine!"

Then, the lamp shot out some lavender smoke and disappeared when the two homeless men were caught in it.

"Fuck! That shit stank!" One man shouted as the smoke cleared away. "Hey! Where did that lamp go?"

"I don't know! It disappeared!" The other man replied.

"You don't know?! Gah! Guess we're even then!"

Jolanta and her allies then walk over to the homeless men.

"What happened here?" Jolanta asked.

"Oi! We were bitching over a lamp and it disappeared with smoke in our eyes!" One man replied.

"Yeah and the smoke didn't harm us!" Another man replied. "It had a lavender scent to it."

"Dizin…" Ciema said. "Well stay safe out there you two."

"Thanks, I guess." One man said. "Those raiders really fucked our homes up…"

"Yep… They got a lot to pay from…" Another man said.

In a park, Dita and Cibor were waiting.

"What's the park called?" Dita asked.

"Zielony Park." Cibor replied.

"Thanks."

Then, they saw a lamp in the distance.

"That's probably her." Dita said.

"Dizin? Then let's take a closer look." Cibor said.

Then, they saw Jolanta from a distance.

"Shit! It's them already!" Dita shouted. "Let's split up and deal with some of them!"

"Right!" Cibor said.

When Dita and Cibor split up from Zielony Park, Jolanta and her allies arrived in the park.

"Here we are." Rostek said.

"Good, now where is the lamp at?" Ciema wonders as she looks around. "Hmm… Maybe we should all split."

"Ok then. I'll be with Marcelina to check outside of the park to our right." Rostek said. "Jolanta and Kwiat check outside of the park to our left. Iz and Ciema will check the entire park."

"Sounds like a plan." Jolanta said as she and Kwiat walked away.

Rostek and Marcelina walked away as well while Iz and Ciema stayed in the park to search for the lamp.

"Ok… Let's begin…" Ciema said to Iz. "I'm really starting to worry about Dizin all of a sudden…"

"Just try and keep your cool." Iz said back.

"Not sure if that's possible for me, but whatever."

Jolanta and Kwiat meanwhile were searching if the lamp is anywhere on their left.

"Nothing here…" Jolanta said, checking the trash. "Just a shitty smell…"

"Nothing on the ground…" Kwiat said.

"Heh heh… Why would it be on the ground?"

"Don't know. Just a feeling…"

Then, Dita appeared in front of them.

"Can we help you?" Jolanta asked.

Dita smiled.

"Yes…" Dita replied. "If you two were to slow down in time, what would it be like?"

Jolanta and Kwiat were surprised, but didn't say a word.

"This girl is suspicious…" Kwiat said to Jolanta.

"K-Kwiat… Don't tell me she's a Stand User…" Jolanta said back. "If she is, then we'll have to see how we can take her on…"

"Well wait here, Jolanta. Because I have something to think about."

"Uhh… Don't do something stupid."

"I won't!"
