Author's Note: I've wanted to write a drabble series since years before I got my FFN account, being inspired by series such as "Moments" by Emachinescat, "Underestimated" by Kitty O, and "One Hundred" by Ultra-Geek in the Merlin fandom, and "221B" by KCS in the Sherlock Holmes fandom (though that is its own type of drabble solely used by that fandom). This is the first drabble fad that has been active since I started my account (that I know of).

All the words and definitions used as prompts are taken from The Word Lover's Dictionary: Unusual, obscure, and preposterous words by Josefa Heifetz.

"Be a good chap and send him back to us for his new command assignment," London instructed, and Kinch internally grimaced at what he had to tell Hogan. New command assignments were a big deal, especially when London was this excited, but he knew there would be many problems, given this man's questionable history with sound judgement.

Still, he gave the message to Hogan, as was his job. Hogan looked it over, frowning as he read between the lines. He looked at the problematic man sitting beside him—and getting the promotion—and handed it over.

"What luck!" exclaimed Crittendon.
