A/N Hey guys, I want to apologize for taking so long and keeping you in suspense, but I'm back and ready to start a new chapter so get ready since James is going to face a serious loss that will traumatize him after Jess gives him the big news, so enjoy.

After the whole alternate earth fiasco that my dad and I went through, two weeks had gone by since that incident while I had continued living my duel life with my dad until we were now with mom and watching Chloe's tennis match while I smiled and inwardly cheered my sister on as she was doing well on the court against one of the girls at her school until Carly pulled off a surprising win as the announcer commented about the win.

"Hey Carly, good game since you really killed me out there," Chloe complimented, my sharp hearing helping me hear what they were saying as they shook hands, only I was taken aback when I saw the sneer on Carly's face.

"Whatever Chloe, I shouldn't even be forced into playing against your kind," Carly retorted irritably and Chloe looked puzzled by that.

"Excuse me?" Chloe asked in confusion while I had a bad feeling about this as Carly scoffed.

"Playing dumb? Everyone knows that your dad lost his company and that your family is broke, so is it true what they say? That your mother is screwing the dean to keep you enrolled? Seems like the type," Carly insulted cruelly with a nasty smile, shocking the hell out of me just before Chloe looked pissed and I was startled when she struck Carly across the face with her tennis racket and everyone gasped at that.

"Oh god," Dad breathed out in horror while I could see blood coming out of Carly's nose as Chloe raised her racket for another swing.

"Say it again! Go ahead, say it again! I fucking dare you!" Chloe shouted lividly as mom looked at me.

"James-" Mom started to say and I nodded as I got out of my seat.

"I know, I'll go get her," I replied as I vaulted over the railing and hurried over to Chloe, then I gently rested a hand on her shoulder and she was about to hit me when she saw that it was me and started trembling.

"Jimmy...I-" Chloe stuttered before I guided her over to the exit.

"Come on, let's get out of here," I suggested as we left the court and met up with mom and dad.

After that, there was nothing but a tense silence between the four of us as we drove back to the underground hideout and took the elevator, then we descended and the doors opened up into the main area before Chloe stormed away, passing Dunford as he was washing the wolf-car and looking confused while dad reached out to her.

"Chloe, what are you-" Dad tried to ask and was cut off.

"I'm going to my room!" Chloe shouted back as she went down the hall, causing me to sigh as Jess perked up and I walked over to her.

"Hey, how did it go?" Jess inquired as she kissed my cheek, then I smiled while my mood lifted slightly until I started frowning when I recalled how Chloe assaulted Carly.

"Sadly, it didn't go too well and I think Chloe is going to be in a lot of trouble," I said tiredly while Jess started looking more concerned.

"James, what happened?" Jess asked as we headed to my room, then we went inside and sat down on my bed before I proceeded to tell her everything until I was finished and Jess looked worried.

"Oh no, is Carly's parents going to press charges?" Jess questioned hesitantly before I grimaced and rubbed the back of my neck.

"I wouldn't be surprised if they did since Chloe struck their daughter across the face with a tennis racket, but I know that she didn't mean it because even she looked shocked by what she did...though what worries me is that she's fourteen and could be looking at juvie until she's eighteen," I said stressfully while I gently rubbed my eyes, then I noticed that something was bothering Jess and I sent her a questioning look until she sighed.

"Hey, I know this isn't the best time...but I have something important to tell you," Jess told me before I furrowed my eyes.

"What is it?" I inquired in concern as Jess looked like she was struggling with something and cringed.

"James...I'm pregnant," Jess said hesitantly, then I promptly stared at her as I tried to understand what I just heard until it clicked and I started breathing heavily.

"W-Wait, pregnant...how...when..." I sputtered as my brain struggled to reboot and Jess rested a hand on my shoulder.

"J-James?" Jess asked tentatively until I snapped out of it and shook my head before rubbing my head with a hand.

"Sorry...how is this possible? Wait, is this because of..." I trailed off while I was afraid of finishing that sentence and Jess nodded.

"Yes, I started getting nausea a week after the beast forced itself on me and I couldn't keep any food down, so I had gotten a box of pregnancy tests and checked if it was true before it came up positive," Jess explained while I was blinking rapidly and letting out short breaths.

"A-Are you sure? I mean... those things can be inaccurate sometimes," I pointed out with a look of shock on my face.

"I checked three more times after the first one and they all came up positive, so I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant," Jess confirmed, causing me to let out a breathless laugh while I rested my head in my hands.

"I can't believe it...I'm going to be a father," I muttered while Jess started looking uneasy.

"A-Are you not happy about that?" Jess asked nervously and my head shot up before I quickly looked at her.

"No, I'm thrilled but what are we going to do? We need to start thinking about our child's future since we have to worry about welfare, food, getting him or her an education, a stable environment to raise the baby in, then there's the issue of the child being born a werewolf since I'm sure their first change isn't going to be pretty-" I rambled before Jess rested her hand on mine to calm me down.

"Relax, we'll cross that bridge once we get to it but we have plenty of time, so don't worry so much about it," Jess reassured and I relaxed before I sighed.

"You're right, but now we need to focus on the issue of marriage," I pointed out until Jess froze at that.

"Aw crap, mom and dad are going to kill me for this," Jess mumbled in dismay while I laughed nervously.

"Yeah...I'm pretty sure your dad will be the one to kill me for getting his daughter pregnant while your mother will finish off what's left," I joked before we laughed and I stood up.

I left the room and went to check up on Chloe before I saw dad waiting next to the door before I nodded at him, just before I heard mom and Chloe talking about how she was being bullied at school for being broke until my sister admitted that she might hate dad for everything that's happened and could barely look me in the eye anymore, hurting me greatly as I started clenching my hands into fists while my knuckles turned white but I wasn't angry at Chloe for what she said and didn't blame her since it wasn't surprising that everything we've been going through was becoming too much for her.

Pretty soon, I walked away and went around the corner just as mom left Chloe's room and her eyes widened when she saw dad standing outside and looked uncomfortable as she grimaced and looked away.

"Gary, how long have you..." Mom trailed off and dad sighed as I listened closely.

"Long enough," Dad said stoically while he sent her an unreadable expression.

"Look, please don't be angry at her because she's just a child who's overwhelmed by all of this," Mom reasoned and dad nodded.

"I know, but it doesn't change the fact that our family's being torn apart by all of this and, with everything that's going on, who could blame her for resenting me and becoming distant from Jim? I know I would hate me...after things started going south, I see the way you look at me and James while it all changed.

I see it in your eyes, you don't respect me as you used to while you barely look at our son these days, and now you fear us so I don't like that," Dad admitted bitterly while mom cringed.

"Gary, I...I don't know what to say," Mom said regretfully before dad turned away from her.

"James and I are going to go, so we'll see you in the morning," Dad told her before he walked away as mom tried to say something, then dad came around the corner and saw me before he paused at that.

"So, I take it you heard everything?" Dad asked and a hollow look from me told him everything he needed to know before we headed to the main room and drove out of the hideout.

"We'll never get far enough ahead of them like this, which is why I told you both that we should've doubled back and gotten the car and motorcycle! Hey, are you two even listening? What are you doing?" Zechariah questioned in exasperation, but I was too pissed to listen to him while we were running across rooftops.

"Blowing off some steam," Dad growled as we jumped off the roof, dad and I falling down as a blue SUV appeared below us at a high rate of speed while three police cars were chasing after it.

Dad and I landed onto the hood and caused it to smash inward as glass shattered, metal crumpled, and the driver was flung out before I lunged forward to grab him and did a front flip until I landed on the street with my dad next to me as looked down at the driver who was in my arms, seeing him dressed like a scientist with his clothes torn and his head bleeding while the police cars pulled up around us and NYPD officers got out before pulling out their sidearms.

"What the hell were you thinking, running from the police like that? You could've killed somebody, driving in such a reckless manner," I lectured sternly before the man grimaced in pain.

"Not cops...never running from cops...running from him," the man wheezed as he started looking terrified while gazing at my left, making me look and I was alarmed to see a half-naked hulking man with medical electrodes and leads on him while he also had small needles in his arms that were connected to tubes, but what startled me was the fact that he was charging at us with a look of rage and took a swing at us with his fists.

"Jesus!" I yelped as I quickly leaped out of the way, just before the large man smashed the street and caused a crater to appear until he glowered at me.

"You're protecting him?! Do you know what he's done?!" the large man yelled just as the police started shooting him, the crazed person's body jerking from being struck by bullets until he collapsed while dad let out a sigh of relief.

"Shit, at least he didn't last long," Dad commented, only I noticed the injured scientist appearing more panicked.

"Oh god, you've got to...make them stop! Number Seven, they...we call him Impact because he absorbs the kinetic energy of objects impacting against him so the bullets will only make him stronger!" the scientist cried out in alarm, making my eyes widen when I saw Impact starting to get up with no damage on him at all.

"Little late for a warning, so maybe we should get the fuck out of here before the Hulk reject comes after us," I suggested uneasily, starting to run with the scientist in my arms while dad was right behind me as Impact started chasing us.

"Give him to me!" Impact roared with his voice filled with rage, causing me to run even faster since I didn't want to find out what he would do to us if he got his hands on us.

We kept fleeing for our lives as the large man chased after us huffing and becoming angrier, causing me to smash through the wall of a building and quickly apologized to the startled inhabitants while dad was right behind me, then I soon crashed through another wall on the other side of the building and grimaced since things were getting worse as I came to a stop.

"Okay, this is clearly not working and we're just pissing him off even more than he already is, so do you think you can walk? You need to get the hell out of here, just run and find a safe place to hide while Wolfman and I keep him busy," I instructed as I put the scientist down.

"I think I can do that, yes," the scientist said, then I gestured for him to run and he bolted while I saw Mecha-Maid arriving to most likely investigate what the hell is going on just as Impact landed in front of me and dad.

"Where the fuck did he go?! Where?! If you let him escape, so help me god, I will kill you both instead!" Impact threatened, causing me and dad to get ready but I had no idea how we were going to take him down since attacking him is only just going to make him stronger so we're going to need to outsmart him if we had any chance of stopping him.

"Interesting, my scans of your genetic structure reveal you're some kind of human battery charged by kinetic energy, so your cells are simply remarkable," Mecha-Maid said as her hands started crackling with energy, causing Impact to look back at her.

"Huh? Who the hell are you?" Impact questioned in complete confusion, only Mecha-Maid merely zapped him and he started convulsing with his eyes rolling up into the back of his head until he collapsed completely unconscious, and Mecha-Maid quit shooting him with the energy beam.

"I'm the woman who figured out how to turn you off, though I use the term 'woman' loosely," Mecha-Maid stated while dad and I shared a look of surprise before we returned our attention to the female robot.

"Damn, are we glad you were in the neighborhood," Dad said thankfully as Mecha-Maid looked at us.

"Don't be so grateful, I'm-" Mecha-Maid was about to say, only she was interrupted when a transport truck pulled up to the scene and mercenaries got out while the scientist dad and I saved came out of hiding to approach them.

"What the hell?" I wondered as the scientist pointed at the body of Impact.

"There he is, now get him into the truck while I clear things with the police," the scientist ordered, then I figured out that this was a cover-up of some kind and was about to confront him for answers when something hit me hard in the back of the head, and I was launched across the street before crashing into a department store window.

"Murderers! You killed him, you killed my friend!" Kinetic shouted as I heard my dad being attacked, picking myself up and stumbling out of the store to see the female hero beating the hell out of my father until it prompted me to run over and I grabbed her.

"Get off him!" I shouted as I threw her away to make sure she wouldn't seriously injure him, then something sharp sliced across my back and I roared in agony as the blade cut through my jacket and shirt.

"Don't touch her!" Minotaur yelled ferociously as I was sent staggering from the blow, then I reached behind me to clutch my back and looked back to see Mecha-Maid helping Kinetic stand up while Minotaur was glaring at me and my father, who got up until his eyes widened in alarm while I realized why the Actioneers were here.

"Oh god, we know why you're here and we're sorry, more than you could ever know, but it's not what you think so if you could just give us a minute to explain-" Dad tried to reason, but was cut off when Code Blue slammed a foot into his face while I was struck across the head with one of his batons.

"Explain?! You two murdered Sergeant Superior in cold blood so what the hell else is there to explain?!" Code Blue exclaimed in outrage as I spun around from another nasty hit, then Minotaur kicked me and I was sent crashing to the street.

"Wait...just stop and let us-" Dad groaned but Mecha-Maid threw him into a car, causing it to crumple inwards because of the impact while I struggled to stand up as I spat out blood when Kinetic stormed over to strike me across the face with my snout breaking, then I was sent into my dad from the force and rendered dazed while I just laid there.

"Everybody stay back, they're mine!" Kinetic growled as she went to attack us, making me roll out of the way and dad jumped up while Kinetic struck the ground and caused a crater before I was stunned by what she was doing since that amount of force would kill us.

"Wait, we don't want to fight you!" I yelled in a panic as I rolled to my feet and was forced to back up with my hands up in surrender.

"I'm not giving you two a choice!" Kinetic shouted as I was forced to dodge a kick but she smashed her fist across my dad's face to knock him down, then I was distracted by that and it cost me as I was rendered nearly unconscious from a nasty hit that sent me spinning to the ground.

"I wasn't ready for you two earlier since I didn't know how fast one of you was so you caught me off guard, but not this time because I know what to expect so you're going down! You two are going to pay for what you've done!" Kinetic snarled as she started savagely hitting me and my father when he grabbed her wrists out of desperation to make her stop.

"Please-" Dad tried to beg, but Kinetic powered up her fists with the glowing kinetic force making him let go as the woman glared down at us in a hot rage.

"Shut up, the last thing in the world I need right now is to hear either of your voices! Sergeant Superior was a hero who saved countless lives and he was a great man, but you spilled his blood so I'll spill yours!

You killed him, now I'm going to kill you both!" Kinetic shouted in fury as dad and I were being beaten nonstop, then she used her kinetic abilities to hold our heads up and I reached out for the other Actioneers.

"Please...help us," I pleaded weakly with my eyes filled with terror as I thought about how devastated Jess would be and that my child would have to grow up without a father, then the other heroes started looking horrified as they realized what Kinetic was doing and the line she was about to cross.

"Kinetic, don't do it because this isn't you, this isn't what the Actioneers...what we do so you can't do this!" Mecha-Maid begged frantically, then Kinetic glared at her.

"I can, don't you remember what they did? What they're capable of? They...they-" Kinetic argued, but she was cut off.

"Kinetic, let them go," A voice announced from above, causing Kinetic and the other Actioneers to look up, and whatever they saw made their eyes bug out.

"Sergeant Superior, you're...alive?!" Kinetic gasped in disbelief, then my eyes widened and I looked up until I saw the very person who was supposed to be dead but I noticed something was wrong.

"Not exactly," Sergeant Superior said stoically, just before his eyes glowed red and I was horrified to see familiar fangs in his mouth where his incisors used to be.

"Oh god...not possible," I wheezed out in pain just before dad and I were flung to the ground.

"What the fuck did you two do?! What have you both turn him into, you monsters?!" Kinetic shouted distressfully before Sergeant Superior got in her way and held her back.

"Kinetic, please, you have to stop this because none of this is their fault since it took me a while to realize that it was nothing more than an accident," Sergeant Superior assured while dad and I looked up at him in shock.

"That's impossible, you died...I thought we killed you, I thought we..." Dad trailed off in disbelief while I was rendered silent by what I was seeing right now.

"You and Lycan did, for the most part, but you two left enough of me intact for your friend Zechariah to bring me back so he's waiting for you, now go while I explain everything to my friends," Sergeant Superior suggested.

Just as he said that, dad and I got up and went to quickly climb up a building while I could barely breathe, my mind struggling to comprehend that Zechariah turned Sergeant Superior into a vampire and that he kept it from us this entire time as I ignored the conversation that was occurring below us, just before we reached the rooftop and sniffed around until we picked up Zechariah's scent.

"You can come out now," Dad announced, prompting Zechariah to step out of the shadows and I started glaring at him while trying to restrain my temper.

"You two are getting better at that since I was standing upwind, which is impressive and I guess you met our friend? I'm sorry I didn't tell you two sooner," Zechariah told us sheepishly, though I was far from happy hearing that.

"How long have you had him?" Dad questioned suspiciously, causing Zechariah to sigh.

"Since you both attacked him...I took him right away," Zechariah replied hesitantly, then I completely lost my composure and grabbed the older vampire before throwing him against the wall while he looked startled.

"You didn't think to tell us and allowed us to believe we killed him?! You just let us think that and left us with that kind of guilt?!" I shouted in outrage, then Zechariah turned into mist and that pissed me off even more.

"Dammit, Zechariah, talk to us!" Dad exclaimed in frustration before the vampire reformed.

"Technically, you and James did kill him, but it was what happened after that that I never told you both about," Zechariah clarified, just before dad lost his temper and let out a threatening growl.

"So you turned him into a vampire?! What the hell else are you keeping from us?!" Dad snarled as Zechariah scowled.

"It was the only way to save him, and it saved you both tonight so you should be thanking me," Zechariah retorted calmly, then I let out a laugh of disbelief before I started looking enraged.

"Fuck you, it's our fault that he's become like that so how could you do this to us?! You know what, we were stupid to trust you in the first place so stay away from us and our family because we're done working with you!" I roared in complete fury.

"You two are making a big mistake," Zechariah said, and my eyes narrowed at that while my inner wolf was snarling and urging me to rip his throat out.

"Are we? I don't think so, I'm starting to believe you wanted us to kill Sergeant Superior and I think this was all part of your plan, so I'm sick of you using us because ever since you came into our lives, they've spiraled out of control to the point where we needed you so I don't know why we didn't see it before," Dad stated bitterly.

"Gary, trust me, you and your son don't want to do this so please listen to me," Zechariah pleaded, only we weren't moved by it and I was sick of this bastard's attempt of further manipulating us.

"No, we're through listening to a prick like you," I retorted before dad and I turned to run from him, diving off the roof and heading to where the wolf-car and the drifter bike were located.

After we had gotten to our vehicles, we drove back to the hideout while I felt disoriented and betrayed in the worst way before we drove into the secret entrance and soon arrived at the ground floor, then I saw mom and Dunford with suitcases as dad and I pulled to a stop until we shut off the engines and left our vehicles.

"Hey, what's going on?" Dad asked while I was busy removing my helmet and placing it on the seat of my drifter bike.

"Your lawyer called and, apparently, they closed the embezzlement investigation tonight so you've been cleared and our assets have been unfrozen, now we can go home," Mom explained while she and Dunford put the suitcases down until the older man walked away.

"Tonight? Chloe is sleeping," Dad pointed out in confusion while I was also puzzled by how sudden this was.

"No, I'm just getting ready so Chloe and I are moving back in tomorrow morning without you while James is to come with us," Mom clarified, then it felt like everything just fell apart around me while I was just frozen stiff.

"What?!" Dad exclaimed in disbelief.

I couldn't take it anymore, so I just ran back to my room while ignoring mom and dad worryingly shouting for me to come back before I arrived and went inside, then I just changed out of my Lycan outfit and put on a pair of jeans with sneaker and a t-shirt before I stumbled over to my bed and planted my butt on it until I held my head and proceeded to hyperventilate uncontrollably.

I couldn't handle it, seeing everything being taken away from me and combining that with every horrible thing I've experienced ever since I've become a werewolf had become too much for me to bear as I struggled not to break down right then and there just as someone entered my room and sat down next to me, making me look to see that it was Jess while she held a worried look.

"Hey, I heard everything your mother said so are you doing okay?" Jess inquired in concern, then I calmed down enough to simply stare at my hands and breathed shakingly.

"Zechariah was right, this thing is a curse," I muttered solemnly.

"What do you mean by that?" Jess asked.

"Ever since dad and I became werewolves, everything is just falling apart around us and ending with mom deciding to separate from dad but do you know what's worse? Zechariah was using us the whole time and I can't believe we were stupid enough to fall for it.

You and mom were right, he couldn't be trusted so I'm sorry I didn't listen to you both," I said while tears started to well up, then Jess pulled me into a hug and my inner wolf let out a content whine while I relaxed in her embrace with a soft smile.

"It's okay, he presented you and your father with what was supposedly a solution to your problems so I don't blame you both for taking it since you were scared of what was happening," Jess reassured me while I felt better from that until she let go of me and I looked at her fully.

"Jess, I'm going to quit being Lycan," I stated before Jess looked at me in surprise.

"Are you sure?" Jess asked until I nodded.

"Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking when I decided to become a hero because it's affecting me in a bad way, not to mention that we have a child on the way so raising it needs to be a priority since I'm sure our child wouldn't want my career to take up most of my time," I pointed out logically.

"You're right about that, but what about you turning every full moon?" Jess questioned.

"I'll come up with something, but I need to focus on helping you raise our child and find a job that can provide for us while also giving me free time for our kid," I said before Jess stood up.

"Well, I let you think about that since I need to head home for the night," Jess told me, then I nodded and she left my room.

After that, I was left to my thoughts as I pondered on what my life would've been like if that trip to Montana never happened while a short time had gone by, just before my sharp hearing picked up a commotion coming from the lobby and I quickly left my room before running down the hall until I made it and what I saw made my mind shut down and struggle to reboot.

What I saw was Jess laying on the floor completely unmoving with her throat slashed open while Zechariah was there and holding my mother, biting into her neck and drinking her blood as more of it pooled onto the floor as dad entered the large room and his eyes widened in complete horror.

I couldn't hear what was going on around me, everything just completely muffled as I slowly stumbled over to Jess' body and fell to my knees next to it, then I went to lift her upper half as I just stared down at her fully numb and unable to comprehend what I was seeing.

"Jess?" I questioned with my voice sounding confused and lost until her blood leaked onto my clothes and that when it finally hit me.

My inner wolf started howling and baying in pure agony from losing his mate as I broke out sobbing and wailing from the loss I just experienced, something in me just shattering completely as I finally broke from everything I've been through while the knowledge of losing both my girlfriend and our child destroyed me in such a way that could never be fixed as I wanted to die to end this suffering I was going through.

Once I was finished breaking down, I slipped into shock as I held Jess' body against my chest for what seemed to be hours when someone gently took my arm and tentatively tugged at it in a gesture for me to come with them, just as I subconsciously lowered Jess onto the ground and let the person help me up since I was in no state to do anything right now while I spotted Chloe cowering nearby as I was guided away from the murder scene until Dumford entered the large room and widened his eyes in disbelief.

"Gary! My god, what happened?!" Dumford exclaimed in horror as he dropped the suitcase he was holding in one hand before dad helped me walk over to the older man.

"Dunford, promise me you'll take care of Chloe," Dad said as he placed a bloody hand on Dunford's shoulder.

"What are you-" Dunford tried to ask, only he was cut off.

"Just say it!" Dad shouted distressfully, making the older man flinch while I didn't even react at all.

"Okay, okay," Dunford assured nervously before dad nodded.

"Good, I need to get James away from here because he's in no state to move on his own right now," Dad stated before he helped me to the nearby doors and we went through them, though I wasn't responding or reacting to anything as he helped me to the bathroom.

Dad assisted me in taking my bloody clothes off and left me alone with the reassurance that he was right outside if I needed anything, then I lifelessly turned on the shower and just watched the blood being rinsed off before going down the drain until I slid down against the wall and just sat there curled up into a fetal position with my arms wrapped around my legs as I just stared at the wall with no life in my eyes anymore.

Eventually, the warm water became cold but I didn't care as I stood up and shut off the shower, leaving the stall and using a towel to dry myself off before I got dressed in clean clothes and left the bathroom with dad going in for a shower until he was also done.

"James, listen to me, we're going to need to run because you and I are going to be blamed for what happened, so make sure to wear a hat to cover your face because I don't want you to go to prison," Dad told me, only I just stared at him with an empty look and he appeared uneasy while he helped me to my room.

He had me put on one of my favorite ballcaps and a hoodie before he took me over to his room and went to get some money until he handed half to me while I just stared down at it without blinking, then he guided me to the secret exit that had been built just in case of an emergency.

"James, I know you're in a bad way right now, but we're going to have to separate so that it'll make it harder for them to find us, understand?" Dad asked, then I looked at him before simply pocketing the money and slowly nodding.

"Good, you should flee the country and go somewhere to start a new life because I never wanted this for you, but at least you'll have a chance to get away from all this," Dad told me as we exited the Westedge Outlet Center.

We kept moving with dad guiding me the whole way as we got further and further away from the hideout before we arrived at the shipping docks, then we snuck over to a ship that was ready to leave for Europe and dad helped me sneak into the cargo hold so that I could smuggle myself out of the country.

"I love you so much and I'll pray for you every day, Jimmy," Dad told me tearfully as he hugged me, struggling to keep his composure as the ship's horn sounded out until dad quickly left the cargo hold and I was alone, forced to survive on my own after experiencing such a traumatic event.

A/N Hey guys, I know that it was pretty heartbreaking and fucked up for what happened to Jess, but her death is an important event that'll shape James later on and I just had an idea to make him into a version of a Marvel character that I'm sure you're all familiar with.

If you don't know who I'm talking about, then let me give you a hint by saying that character is a member of a special unit within Shield that was responsible for containing supernatural and paranormal events and if you still don't know what I'm talking about, then I decided to change the story title where instead of the name Lycan being at the end, it's a different name that will give you a big clue so check it out and let me know what you think.

Well, tell me what you think of this chapter and get ready because the next story arc is going to go into the Darkstalkers crossover I talked about a long time ago in one previous chapter, and I can't wait for that to happen so stay tuned.
