Recap

"Ok no more fights today! Don't want my hunky date to be black and blue later. See ya" Sakura winks and turns to start heading back to her classroom.

Syaoran stood there watching her disappear in the crowd of students, not believing his luck that day. He smiled as he pulled his iPod out and put on his headphones while walking to his next class. Nothing a little Modern English to set his mood right.

I'll stop the world and melt with you….

The rest of the school day flew by quickly and as soon as the last bell rang for the day, everyone scrambled around the hallways. Many left the school while others stayed behind for after school activities. Hallways were almost empty except near the gym doors, a group of girls were all standing anxiously waiting by the cheerleading board, waiting for the final announcements on who the lucky handful would be in the team. All talking loudly and laughing, everyone kept glancing at the gym enterence, waiting for the captain to post up the news. Behind the giddy girls, two girls stood by talking among themselves leaning on lockers.

"Aghh all this waiting is killing me!" Chiharu said, checking her phone for the millionth time.

Meilin nods "Right! I just wanna go home and get tomorrow over with. Fang is really pushing this mission to be perfectly done with no fuck ups. If he wasn't so damn scary and hot at the same time, I honestly would be ok with it entirely!"

Chiharu nods and looks around at the other girl who kept their distance from them.

"Even if we don't make it, it was still fun trying something new! Took forever to convince Wolf to let us try out, but luckily it's all on neutral grounds."

"I'm sure we'll make it Chi, I mean we were some bad ass bitches out there!" Meilin smirked till she heard someone scoff in front of them. They both looked at the girl who had long black hair, and was talking to her friend next to her.

"They honestly believe they would make it to the squad? Honestly people these days…"

"Say something Suho? What's your problem eh? Scared that there's another way for me to beat your ass?" Meilin spatted at the girl who commented on their conversation, Mitsuko Suho. One of the top popular girls in school who thinks she is better than anyone just because of her family fortune. She mainly attacks those who she believes are beneath her and is Meilin's biggest pain in her ass.

"I said, do you honestly believe Kinomoto would let trash like you in the squad? She has way better taste than letting you or Mihara bitch asses in." Mitsuko's group laughed as she smirked. Meilin had to hold Chiharu back a bit and both girl's glared at the tall girl.

"Trash? Ha! That's funny because that's not what your hunny bunny calls me everytime he tries to get my number" Meilin winks at the red faced girl, puffing out her chest. Not today Queen skank.

"Bitch!" Mitsuko spatted as her friends held her back.

"Skank" Meilin barked back.

Chiharu stepped in front of her friend, sort of hugging her back from killing. Literally.

"Slut!"

"Whore!"

"FUCK YOU WOLF SLUT!"

"NO FUCK YOU BI-!"

"THAT'S ENOUGH LADIES!"

Everyone looks over at the other voice who yelled out to get everyone's attention. A fuming Sakura and Haruka stood nearby the door they just came out of. Sakura looked at the girls in front of her and nodded in disappointment. Both groups let the hot headed girls go and turn to face the captain. Sakura spoke up again but with calm authority.

"I sure hope whoever makes it in my team would truly act like the lady I believe they are instead of behaving like a babbling, bumbling band of baboons!"

"That's from Harry Potter!" Chiharu excitedly whispered to Meilin, nodding in approval. Meilin rolls her eyes.

"Is my message clear?" Sakura looked over at all the girls in the hallway.

"Hai!" everyone said at the same time, though Sakura didn't miss the look the two girls gave each other. Great, now she has to keep her eye on those two.

"Now...if you can excuse me, gotta post up the list of my new team" Sakura walked towards the board, everyone stepping aside to let her pass with Haruka close behind. She handed Sakura a rolled up parchment and smiled as she stepped back and went back into the room they were just in. The minute Sakura unrolled the paper and pinned it up the board, she turned around and smiled at all the curious eyes upon.

"Good luck everybody!" and with that she walked away from the board that quickly got surrounded.

Sakura went back into the gym where she left her belongings and waved bye to her small cheer committee that was also grabbing their stuff to go for the day.

"Hey Saku, do you have any plans for the weekend besides practice? I heard there's a party going on tomorrow night if you wanna tag along? Imagine all the sexy guys we can meet!" Haruka asked as they both were walking out the door.

"Hmm Idk I kinda have plans tonight and tomorrow I'm stuck at the house after practice since no one's going to be home." Sakura said as Haruka nodded.

"But that's the best time to leave and do whatever you want!"

"Yeah I guess but maybe next time?" Sakura looked past Haruka as she saw Mitsuko go up to the board with her sidekicks. Behind was the other two girls she was bickering with. Maybe she should stay till they clear from the halls.

"Ok but next time you better go!" Haruka winks as she starts to walk away "Night Saku!"

Sakura waved at her departing friend and looked back at the girls who stood near the board. Mitsuko smirked as she turned back at the two girls, whipping her hair over her shoulders. "See I already knew I was already in."

Sakura rolled her as she saw the other two girls walk by Mitsuko as she bumped into their shoulders hard. She was trying to intimidate them as they looked away from her and up to the board.

"Not sure about you two since your nothing but tra-"

"YEAASSSS" screamed both Meilin and Chiharu as they both hugged each other and high fived one another. Chiharu stopped.

"But wait what about Tomoyo? She's not on here?" Chiharu looked at Meilin who also didn't realize their friend's name wasn't on the list.

"Oh! She told my Co-Captain to pull her name off. Something came up unfortunately and she said she wouldn't be able to join." Sakura walked up to them as they both turned to look at eachother with concerned looks and nodded.

"Hmm probably something came up I guess." Meilin said as she turned to Sakura with her hand held out "I'm Meilin Li! This is my friend Chiharu Mihara! Thank you for letting us in your team!"

Sakura nods and shakes her hand "Sakura Kinomoto...Welcome to the team! I hope you guys will have fun this year in the cheer squad! I'm hoping now that since we are a team, we can all work together peacefully and have loads of fun. Riiight?" She looks over at the fiery eye girl, hoping she got the message.

"Hai" Both girls nodded smiling till they heard someone laugh behind them.

"I'm honestly surprised Sakura,but then again you're too much of a pure hearted girl to let almost about anyone in like that. That's why I like you so much." Mitsuko smiled as she started to walk away with her group "Ciao girls...see you bright and early!"

Sakura, Meilin and Chiharu did nothing but watch the group disappear, staring in disbelief. She is something.

"Bitch" Meilin spatted in Chinese.

"I know right?"

Both Meilin and Chiharu looked over at Sakura with wide eyes. The girl knows chinese too!

Sakura looks at her watch, " Hooeeee! I'm gonna be late! See you girls tomorrow!" She quickly started running down the hallway, out the door leaving the wolf girls behind.

"You know the weirder the girl gets, the more I like her!" Chiharu said as she nudged her friend. She wrapped her arm around Meilin's and both girls started walking out to the front of the school.

"Right? I can't wait to tell the guys and piss them off! I know they were hoping for us not to make it!" Both girls laugh evilly going out the front doors.

'It had to be today right? I was doing so damn good till the last minute!'

Syaoran was almost finished with his detention hour. How'd it happened? Well he was concerned about not seeing Sakura in class and pulled out his phone to see if she was ok. But his teacher caught him right when he was about to send the message and gave him detention. Gramps will definitely know about this one. Well at least he wasn't alone. He looked over at Tomoyo and Xue who were whispering among themselves. Guess since there was only ten minutes left, the teacher didn't give a damn. Syaoran was feeling really good about his date tonight and he wasn't going to let a stupid detention spoil it. Just when he was about to pull his headphones out and put them on, he saw his friends eyes staring at him.

"What?" he said, obviously annoyed at their curious looks.

"Looks like someone is in a good mood about something and it's not this here detention." Tomoyo said as she said it in a jolly tune and smirked.

Xue was just finishing putting his books away in his bag and brushed his hair back over neatly. He also gave Syaoran a look, smirking. "We all know you hate detentions, so spill. What's keeping you in a good mood dear cousin?"

Syaoran frowned and put on his headphones. "Its called nonya"

"Nonya? Who's that?" Both Tomoyo and Xue asked.

"Non ya business" Syaoran pressed play on his phone, blasting away his thoughts till it was time to go.

Tomoyo rolled her eyes and looked back at Xue who just frowned. "Shithead"

She nodded in agreement.

"He's been acting kinda weird all day. Super distracted and kinda been ignoring us. Especially around lunch. Meilin told me he disappeared after that football guy got punched"

Xue raised his brow "Punched? Who? And by who?"

"Riku got punched by the lovely cheer captain that's who! From what I heard, she knocked him down and his nose bled." Tomoyo giggles, "Kinda sucks that I won't be in the cheer squad to get to know her but luckily I can record them at practices and at games! Though I feel like I've seen her before."

Xue was honestly surprised. Didn't think sweet little cherry actually had it in her but then again she is kinda spunky and always talking about her bully of a brother. Guess she had to learn some kind of self defense. "Have you ever seen him talk to Sakura?"

Tomoyo nodded "Not that I know of. Eriol hasn't said much either but then again he hasn't said much to me at all since we rarely talk." She looked down at her hands, her mood completely changed.

Xue grabbed her hand in comfort "It'll work out babe. He's just being stupid but you know he loves you. If my cousin fucks this up, let me know and I'll teach him."

"Oh Xue...You had to not like girls huh? Too bad because you can be such a cutie sometimes " Tomoyo pinches his cheeks and winks at him as he smiles.

"Sorry doll. And I swear why do all girls say that? Anyways, the bell should ring any second, let's wake up little wolf over here" He poked Syaoran in the rib and got the reaction he wanted.

Nothing like that death glare.

Right when Syaoran pulled his headphones off and was about to say something mean, the last bell for any after school activities rang, thus notifying the day was over. Everyone stood up instantly and started walking out of the room completely ignoring the teacher as they were saying something. They got to the hallway and started to walk towards the front of the school to meet up with everyone.

"Anyways how the hell did you two end up in detention?" Syaoran spoke up looking between the two figures.

"Well I was late for class because stupid asshole football players threw my bag across the hallway, papers flying all over the place. Basterds." Xue explained as he held his backpack straps.

"I ran to the bathroom this morning, without permission to ask first. I Had a little attitude but I had to go!" Tomoyo whined as both boys looked at her. Syaoran with a curious look while Xue gave her a hopeful one.

"But I feel better now so it's all good. What about you Syao?" Tomoyo smiled curiously on how wolf boy got to stay after school. He occasionally gets in trouble but has been very 'good' at school.

"Phone," Syaoran simply said. "I pulled it out for a second and the teacher caught me looking at it"

"Well that's ridiculous. I swear these teachers nowadays are so uptight!" Xue exclaimed. "Bunch of rubbish if you ask me. What if it was an emergency? Or something like that?"

Tomoyo nods "Right! Or we get a message from our families? I swear my mother has to ask me something at least a couple times in a day…"

Syaoran walked behind them, only one headphone in to somewhat listen to their conversation. Once they got to the parking lot, everyone was all parked near his car, just hanging out laughing. Meilin and Chiharu were giggling about something while Takashi and Akio looked unamused by them.

"Why the long faces boys? Lost your balls today?" Syaoran smirked as he opened his car and threw his backpack inside of it, suddenly receiving a couple of texts. The first one being an address.

-Alright! 7 it is right? Not too early?-

Syaoran texted back quickly and looked back at his pack. Akio was already making a face at something Meilin said as the rest of the group laughed.

"Then that bitch had the audacity to say we wouldn't be on the board, but we were and her stupid ass was so upset! Luckily the captain was there welcoming us to the squad!"

"Hey whatcha smiling at SyaoSyao?"

Syaoran looked up from his phone and all his friends were looking at him. Takashi was the one that asked the question as he held Chiharu.

"Nothing just checking if Wolf messaged me. He's been pretty quiet all day." Syaoran quickly put his phone in his pocket. " Where's Eriol?"

Everyone looks around and shrugs, Tomoyo looking as pissed as ever.

'Fucking Eriol better stop this bullshit.' Syaoran thought as he looked at Tomoyo and the gang.

"He'll be home later, come on Tomoyo. I'll take you home" Syaoran offered and she nodded walking towards his car. "Everyone keep your eyes open, I'll see you guys at the mansion."

Syaoran went over to get in his car and started it. Psychedelic Furs softly playing in the background as his passenger is already buckled in. He side glance at her before starting the drive home.

"I don't know what he's doing but I know he does love you Tomoyo and I'm not only saying this because he's my stupid ass cousin but because I can see that he really does care and love you."

"I swear I picked the wrong one to be with in this family." Tomoyo said as she slightly smiled. "But I know. I just wish he knew how much it hurts"

Syaoran nods, not sure what else to say but just being there hoping it would bring some comfort to his friend. He was trying not to overthink about his date but he couldn't help to feel all jittery for his date later that day. He just needs to see her and forget about his world. No fighting, no killing, no more danger. Syaoran had to stop thinking about her and so he leaned over and increased the volume on his stereo as he drove home with caution. Fucking Aka's are bound to attack at anytime and he wasn't in the mood for them at all.
