Hello! This is my first story, please don't judge, but if I did bad with grammer or spelling please tell me in the reviews, or of its too dry, because I really want to know if people like this, or if I'm terrible at it and should stop or ask someone to go over it with me. If you have any suggestions for characters, plot, or anything else, just let me know! I (obviously) do not own Wings of Fire, but I am basing this story (slightly) off of it. Thats why the Icewing queen's name in this fan fiction. The prologue is from Snowfall's perspective. Enjoy and I hope you like it! :3
Chapter One
Snowfall
It had been days since Snowfall had seen the mass of wings across the ocean. At this point, she was just waiting for her home to be invaded. There was just one problem. Snowfall's aunt, Tundra, just might suffocate her with disapproving glares and boredom first. At the moment, she was sitting in front of her desk glowering at a scroll covered with dragonets and adults who had displeased or done something else offensive to people and we're complaining to the queen and asking her to lower their ranks' locations.
Are queens allowed to lower royals' ranks for annoying her? That sounded appealing... Especially Tundra... Snowfall smirked and flicked her tail. "Yes, my queen?" One of the guards next to the door bowed.
"I'm going down to the courtyard. Alone. Make sure no one follows me. Oh, are you a new one?" Snowfall liked to memorize her guards' names so she could tell if their was an intruder. "Yes, your majesty." The guard flicked his tail.
"My name is... Python." He suddenly turned green, then orange, and settled on camouflage and then lunged toward the other guard in the room and killed him just as Snowfall thought Wait... Python... Isn't that a Rainwing name? Snowfall lunged toward the door. A PITIFUL RAINWING WILL NOT KILL ME!
But even as she thought this, something hit the back of her head and the world started to go black...The last thing she saw was the ice rushing up to meet her...
