Sakura blushed as she unbuckled her seat belt and opened her door to step out. She walked up to her gate but before she walked into her house to look back at the car and smiled as she waved. He had his window down so she saw him wave back as she went into her house.

Syaoran sat in his car for a second looking up at her second story window lit up. He smiled as turned his car on and drove away back to the mansion, replaying a certain song he will forever cherish. The same with a certain emerald beauty as she laid in her bed with her headphones having the song on repeat.

Chapter 11: Leaving the past behind

"Jiaolong come on! Let's go play over here!"

Sakura blinked a couple of times, adjusting her eyes to the scene in front of her. She was inside of what appears to be a huge living room with probably the tallest ceiling she's ever seen. Lovely crown molding all on the walls, a large table in the center, along two flights of spiral staircases going up to the second floor while the floor was beautiful marble tile. Sakura was honestly speechless and couldn't help but feel out of place. She was too lost admiring the huge cozy home to notice the two small children playing around her.

"Ow Neddy that hurt!"

Sakura looked down and saw the cute little girl from the last dream she had. Except she looked a bit older and her hair now shoulder length with black curls. The beautiful little girl's bright green eyes looked concerned at the little boy with messy black hair with crooked thick black rimmed glasses who was rubbing his arm. Wait...the little boy with messy hair? But without glasses...Why does he look like…

"Sorry Jiaolong! I didn't mean to…" Neddy looked down sadly.

The little boy, Jiaolong, frowned a bit as he fixed his glasses on his nose and nudged her shoulder.

"Hey don't be sad. Want to go bug my dad? I bet he's being a boring old man and wouldn't mind us cheering him up?" he looked at her smirking.

"You don't think he'll get mad?" Neddy looked up with a twinkle in her eye. "My daddy never liked when I bugged him when he's working in his office."

"It's fine," Jiaolong grabbed her little hand and started to lead her upstairs.

'They are both so cute. But that little boy though..."

Sakura followed the children up the stairs and watched them run down a brightly lit hallway with many family portraits all around. They stopped at the huge double doors at the end of the hallway. Jiaolong placed a finger in front of his lips, indicating they stayed quiet as he placed his ears up against the doors. When Sakura stopped next to the little girl, both of them also placed their ears against the door.

"I think daddy is mad again." Jiaolong frowned as Neddy nodded, her hair bounced lightly as she squeaked a bit.

"I hope not at mommy"

Jiaolong nodded "My daddy never yells at girls. He said that's not very nice to angels"

Sakura smiled at the young boy, such a sweet little gentleman. She turned back to the door and concentrated on what the voices were saying.

"Just stay here Aya. We can protect you and Neddy" a familiar husky voice said in a concerned tone.

"Yeah cousin. You got the wolves here to protect you both. And once I'm announced Leader, I'm taking both of you back. The rest of the family and Kitsune can go fuck himself." another male voice said sternly, Sakura doesn't recognise it.

"I told you Feng, I'm not letting her out of my sight" the husky voice growled.

"And I told you Xephon, She's my responsibility as my cousin! Uncle Masaki will never forgive Kitsune for what he has done to his daughter and now it's my time to show that our family will never be disrespected like that again! Those fucking Fox's are seriously pushing for war and We're gonna hit them back hard!"

"Guys! Stop it at once! Look I'm grateful for both of your concerns for me but please, I just need Neddy safe far from him. I don't want him to turn my daughter into the monster that he is and wants her to be." a soft voice said before breaking down in tears.

'Ayane?' Sakura thought before hearing shuffling next to her. She looked down at the little girl who was already in tears.

"Mommy..." She said as wiped her eyes and reached for the doorknob.

"Neddy no!" Jiaolong whispered but it was already too late.

As the door swung open, Neddy was in a full run into the large room as she threw herself into her mother's arms. Ayane, who was sitting in front of the large desk with the two men standing by close, was surprised at the sudden hug. The office was huge as there were sets of collections and portraits all around with a bar and a fireplace along with fancy looking couches and furniture. Sakura recognized Xephon standing close by with his drink in his hand. The other figure that was near Ayane was what really caught Sakura's attention.

'He almost looks like...oniichan?' Sakura thought as she saw the little boy was already by Xephon, clutching his leg in a hug.

"Neddy baby are you ok? Why are you crying?" Ayane asked the tearful girl as she double-checked her daughter, teary green eyes lightened up as she looked at the youngling.

The little girl wiped her tears as she looked up at her mother with the same eye color.

"Don't be sad mommy. I'll protect you"

Ayane smiled as she brushed back the little girl's black curly hair behind her ears and pulled her into a tight hug.

Sakura's chest tightened while she watched both mother and daughter in their moment of solitude. She looked over at the other gentlemen in the room she didn't know. He smiled as he crossed his arms, giving both girls a good distance for themselves and Handsome Xephon placed his hand on his son's head as the young boy smiled up at him as his glasses slid down his nose but pushed it back up to his face.

Sakura was about to get closer inside the office to be closer to them until she heard a faint voice in the back of her mind.

"Saku...Sakura! Hello!"

"Ahh!" Sakura jumped back a bit in her seat as someone clapped their hands together in front of her face. She looks around and notices she wasn't in that office anymore but now sitting at the bleachers with her notepad in her hands and looks up at Haruka.

"You ok?" Haruka asked.

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm ok." Sakura got up and dusted herself a bit. "Everyone almost here yet? We should be starting soon. Let's start with some stretches and then laps"

Haruka looked at her captain closely and nodded as she turned back to the group of girls. She yelled at the group of girls and began their Saturday practice. It was already a busy morning with the football players practicing on one side of the field and the soccer players on the other side. All the girls started on the track in a circle as Sakura got up shaking her head a bit.

"It's happening now during the day time. Why do they keep popping up to me?"

Sakura sighs as she checks her phone that was in her bag and smiles at the text message she received.

-Morning :) Hope practice is going well. Can't wait to see you again-

~Morning :D A Little tired but practice is going great! And I can't wait either. Sleep well?~

-Best Sleep! Kept dreaming about the wonderful girl I went out on a date with yesterday. She's breathtaking.-

~Oh? And I went on a date too! The handsome boy I was with was super charming. And he was super hot! I hope he calls me back soon for a second date. ;)~

Sakura giggled as she placed her phone back in her phone. She needs another night like the perfect one she had yesterday. There's just something about that boy that makes her heart glow.

'Anyway...back to work!' She thought as she picked up her clipboard and walked towards the girls. She nodded her thoughts away to concentrate on starting practice. Her mind is not far from the vision she had beforehand.

The practice had a good start from warm-ups to learning some new routines. After an hour or so the captain allowed a short break before continuing the morning.

"Man I don't know if I'm really out of shape or she's just trying to kill us," Meilin said as she drank from her water bottle. Chiharu was wiping her face with her wet towel.

"It's been a while since we've done any kind of physical activity. It's been really quiet around the mansion." Chiharu smirks.

"Well I know it's been a while for that! He's been so hung up on his stupid game and whatever training he does with Xiaolang." Meiling says as she stretches her muscles.

"Well, I have no problem in that department. Guess I'm lucky there" Chiharu smiles evilly.

"Har Har. Don't worry girl, after the mission tomorrow, I'm getting my way" Meiling smirks as high fives Chiharu. Both girls kept to themselves from the rest of the group but luckily some even talked to them, helping them out on their moves, which they were both thankful for and caught in too quickly.

"Looks like Tomoyo is having fun watching!" Meilin smiles as she pointed out to the girl sitting in the bleachers with her camera out on a stand. They both started to wave at her as their cheer captain came from behind.

"Hey girls! How's practice treating you?" Sakura asked as she held her clipboard to herself, smiling at the two newbies. She looks over to where they were waving.

"Tomoyo came in for support," Chiharu said as she smiled. "What the?-" she quickly looks at her friend in the stand concerned.

Tomoyo suddenly cupped her mouth and bolted down the stands towards the restroom near the exit.

"What the fuck? Tomoyo?" Both Meilin and Chiharu were about to go after their friend till their captain held her hand out.

"Don't worry I'll go check on her," Sakura said as saw them nod. She looked up to the rest of the team. "Alright girls...time for some laps!"

Everyone groaned as they all got up, got in small formation, and started to run. Sakura looked at her co-captain.

"Haruka, I'll be right back. Hold down the fort?" Sakura placed her clipboard down and giggled a bit as Haruka did a small salute.

Sakura jogged a bit towards the direction the girl ran to. She stopped right outside the restroom door and opened the door slightly going inside.

"Hello?"

Sakura walked into the girl's restroom as she heard someone in the stall emptying out their stomach. She grabbed a handful of paper towels as she walked inside and stopped in front of the closed stall.

"You ok in there?"

"Yes. I'll be right out" the girl said weakly and she flushed the toilet. She opened the stall and Sakura looked right into the girl's violet eyes. They were slightly red with tears.

"I'm glad my friends didn't come here to see me like this, though I am truly embarrassed," Tomoyo said as she wiped her eyes.

"There's nothing you should be embarrassed about. We all get sick sometimes" Sakura smiled a bit and offered her the paper towels she had in her hand.

Tomoyo smiled back a little as she took the offered paper towels and wiped her eyes.

Both girls walked over to the sink as Tomoyo began to freshen herself up as Sakura watched her worriedly. Throwing up was never fun and to do it outside from home was never a good feeling. Tomoyo turned over to her.

"Thank you so much even though you didn't have to," Tomoyo smiles.

Sakura nodded as she gave her some wet towels "Here put this on your neck. And don't worry about it."

"Arigato…" Tomoyo said as she placed the cooling towels on her neck.

"It can get pretty hot up there in the bleachers," Sakura said as she saw the other girl's face color turn back to normal from being pale.

"Yeah, I guess next time I should bring an umbrella or something." Tomoyo giggles. " I hope my recording isn't such a bother. It's just a hobby of mine to record my friends and family."

Sakura nods "You don't look like a creepy perv to me, so all is well!" Both girls laugh a bit.

"But if it's ok with you, I would like to see some of the practice recordings? It could help me see where we need to improve?"

"Of course! Anything to help the team!" Tomoyo said excitedly.

"Actually I have a better idea…" Sakura smiled widely "Since you were technically in the team, how about being in the team again but as a staff member?"

Tomoyo's eyes widened as she grabbed Sakura's hand, surprising her.

"I would be honored!" She squealed as Sakura laughed nervously. Out of excitement, she stared at Sakura making her a bit uncomfortable. There was something about the captain's eyes that pulled Tomoyo in.

'Wait...those eyes...why do they remind me of-'

"Alright then," Sakura said as she noticed the girl's stare lasted a little too long, "Welcome back into the team Ms… Wait I know your name but I can't recall your last name Ms?"

"Daidouji...Tomoyo Daidouji" Tomoyo replied quickly, snapping out of whatever trans she was in. She noticed that she still held her hands still and pulled back a bit, smiling nervously.

"Ms. Daidouji, Welcome back! Now you feeling ok to be going out there again or we can start next-"

"No, it's fine! Thank you, Captain...I'm sorry if I made you feel a bit uncomfortable a second ago. It's just...you reminded me of someone that used to be close to me a long time ago..." Tomoyo said as she tied her hair up into a ponytail. She always did that when she felt nervous.

"Oh my god, I was just thinking the same thing!" Sakura said smiling widely "It's funny because I have a cousin with the same name as you but with a different last name who I haven't seen in a long time. Same hair color as you but really short and had the voice of an angel when she sang"

Tomoyo stopped breathing, 'No it couldn't be...can it?' she thought.

"And my brother used to pick and scare us all the time. He still calls me Kaiju even though I'm almost 18, always brings up the story of when I dressed up like Godzilla when I was really young for Halloween, claiming it only brought out my true nature. He can be such a Baka sometimes and he also- Hey you ok?!"

Tomoyo stood there stunned with her eyes watering. It was her. HER! She couldn't believe it. It was her Sakura-chan! It had to be! That was a Halloween she could never forget. All this time of wondering how her sweet cousin was doing, she's been here this entire time at the same school since she moved back. Although she always wanted to go visit her, she didn't really remember her house location since they were both very young since they last saw each other. And her talking about her aunty to her mother is still a touchy subject. Now to really confirm that it's really her Sakura…

"Aw, is Touya-Kun still bringing up that time Saku-chan?"

"Yeah! You think since he's 25 years old he would mature..Wait...How do you know-" then it clicked. Sakura didn't move as she looked back at the smiling girl. Is it…

"Tomoyo-chan? Is it…really you?" Sakura choked up a bit, not knowing why she was whispering. She was really holding her tears in not believing her beloved cousin was in front of her.

Tomoyo nods "I hope so...Touya still at home? And your dad? and….Kero-chan?"

"Both are at home and Kero… he's bigger and fatter than the last time you were here."

Tomoyo giggled as Sakura smiled widely. They both looked at each other before suddenly embracing one another. Finally, Both cousins were reunited and it never felt good!

"Wait but your last name is different?" Sakura pulled back a bit as she wiped her eyes.

"Mom remarried when we left Japan. Your hair is so long now! I remember you had it so short!" Tomoyo said as she smiled widely.

"I just started to let it grow. Now to keep it tame, that's an everyday challenge." Sakura joked a bit as they both pulled back from their tight hug but still holding hands.

"You recently moved back here right?"

Tomoyo nodded " Yeah at the beginning of the year from China. My stepfather stayed behind but he'll be with us later."

Sakura looked at her beautiful cousin. She wore a purple v neck shirt along with her grey shorts. Her curly lavender hair grew to her waistline. They both had their hair somewhat short when they were younger and both were always mistaken for sisters. Which was ok for Sakura since she loved her so much. She hopes for them to be like that again since they found each other and reunited once more.

"You look really good Tomo-chan, I'm so happy you're back! We have a lot of catching up to do!"

"That we do. And me? Look at you! You look so beautiful Saku-chan and honestly, how can I forget those eyes of yours…" Tomoyo smiled as she played with her cousin's hair, taking a closer look.

Sakura blushes as she nods from embarrassment. "Stop it Tomo...anyways how are you feeling now? No more to throw up in that flat belly of yours right?"

Tomoyo looked up at her cousin nervously as she coughed a bit. "No, I'm fine! Just dandy! We should really be getting back for the team. Meilin and Chiharu are probably freaking out now"

"Yeah, you're right. We should be finishing up soon though so we shouldn't be out too late." Sakura said as she checked her watch. Time surely was going by fast.

Before leaving the field, both girls pulled out their phones and took each other's numbers. They're definitely never separating from each other ever again.

When the two cousins came back onto the field, Sakura gave Tomoyo the small umbrella she always had in her bag so she wouldn't be overheated from the midday sun. Before she closed her bag up again, she looked down on her phone to read the text message she received from a certain chestnut-haired boy.

-Hope practice is going well! Can't wait to hear from you again :)

Practice finally ended. Finally.

Just as everyone was gathering their stuff at the end, Sakura stayed behind chatting with some of her squad. All seemed excited for their future return to practice a lot more. When half of the team left, Sakura and Haruka were gathering some of their equipment as Tomoyo approached them with the camera in hand.

"Hey, good job out there guys! I got the whole thing for you to see Saku-chan!" Tomoyo said happily, tapping on her camera.

"Perfect! Haruka, let me re-introduce you to Tomoyo Daidouji, our newest/returned member of our team! She's gonna be part of our staff instead of the squad." Sakura smiles as she watches both girls shake hands.

"Glad to have you back on the team Tomoyo! I'm glad you stayed in our team and I hope we work together to get that championship!" Haruka said as she held her bag close, welcoming the girl with a thumbs up.

Before Tomoyo could reply, two sudden figures hugged her from behind.

"Tomoyo! We were worried about you girl!" Meilin said as she held her friend.

"Right?! But I felt much better seeing you back behind that camera again! Feel better?" Chiharu asked her close friend.

"I'm fine. Guess whatever I ate got the best of me, and the heat didn't help either." Tomoyo smiled as her friends pulled back.

"Thanks for checking up on her capt! We were worried sick till we saw you both come back with her alive " Meilin joked as she saluted.

Chiharu rolls her eyes but smiles at Sakura as she bowed a bit respectfully. "Yes thank you for bringing back Tomoyo"

"It's no problem guys really." Sakura smiles as she nervously waves her hands.

"Well, guys I'm gonna go home and rest. I'll message you later Sakura?" Haruka said as she looked at her captain.

Sakura gave her a thumbs up and Haruka said her goodbyes to the group as she turned to leave.

"So Sakura, you need help with your stuff?" Tomoyo asked as she saw a good amount of boxes around her cousin. Meiling and Chiharu nod as they asked as well.

"Oh yeah sure that would be nice! Here let me just clean this table off and we can -hey!"

The girls screamed as something knocked everything off the table. All of Sakura's stuff was on the floor as She looked down to see a football waddling around her foot. She looked up to see some of the football players laughing hysterically.

"That mother-" Meilin said as she got held back by Chiharu. "Come on! Let me beat the smirk off his face!"

Tomoyo looked worriedly at her cousin as she saw her clutching her fist. Right before she had the chance to grab her as well, Sakura was already stomping towards the football players. Specifically, a certain blonde who she had a feeling had something to do with the ball that was thrown at them.

"Aw sorry," Riku mockingly said. "Guess my hands slipped" his team laughed even louder and Sakura was preparing herself to knock that smile off his face.

"Guess I really got t-" but Riku never finished his sentence since he missed the flying soccer ball that came at him, knocking him on his ass.

"What the fuck?!" He screamed. Riku and the rest of the players all looked up to where the direction came from.

Across the field stood alone a soccer player with messy short spiky black hair. He was wearing a black tank undershirt, grey shorts with his long socks up to his knees and his soccer shoes clung tightly to his feet as the spikes under his shoes dug into the dirt.

"Hubba Hubba" Meiling snickered as Chiharu slapped her friend's shoulder. Tomoyo started to record the scenery in front of her and she looked over at her cousin to see her frozen on the spot. A mixture of hurt and anger was shown on her face as she clutched her hands into a fist.

'What's wrong saku? Who is he to make you look so mad.' she thought, concerned for her cousin as she recorded away.

Over to the football side, Riku wasted no time getting on his feet with his team right behind him as he walked up to the soccer player, blood running down his face as he angrily wiped it off as he stood about ten feet away. "What gives Shang? Got a problem?"

The soccer player shrugs innocently "Sorry, kicked the ball and it must've slipped." he looked over to Sakura, who looked like she was ready to walk away at any given moment.

"Is there a problem?" he looks over to Riku. Now behind him was his team who slowly stood behind him, ready to protect their teammate.

Quickly Sakura snapped back to reality and walked up to stand in the middle of the two athletes. "Nope! No Problem! There's no problem." She said firmly, hoping a rumble wouldn't start.

"Damn Riku, looks like someone else got to your nose before my ball slammed into it" The soccer player snickered.

"Kaito! I said stop it!" Sakura said as she glared at the soccer player who held both hands up on surrender

"Sorry Sak" he looked over to the football team as he gave Riku a snarky look but it was enough for Riku to finally snap. He was about to swing first till his own team held him back. Kaito just stood there smirking as his arms stayed folded across his chest.

The girls flinched a little as Riku started to say profanities while his team held him tight. That was until someone on the sideline cleared their throat making everyone turn their heads over.

"Well well well, looks like our athletes don't know how to play nice anymore these days, now is that the kind of representation we want from our students to others?" A boy said as he had a couple of other people in his group all dressed up in their uniforms, holding their clipboards.

Meiling and Chiharu looked back and forth from the newcomer and the soccer player. They almost looked the same! Well almost except the newcomer had his hair combed back neatly and his school uniform looked top notch, there wasn't a wrinkle in sight.

"Cassian" Both Sakura and Kaito said at the same time. They both looked at eachother, but Sakura looked away first back to the newcomer.

"Thank kami your Cas, these knuckleheads already want cracked heads." Sakura said as he approached her, passing the other girls as he gave them a flirty smile.

"I claim this one" Chiharu whispers to Meiling, they both giggled as Tomoyo smiles, still recording the intense scene.

"Of course Cherry, as school president, I only want peace and happiness within our school grounds for our students," He looked from Riku to Kaito "Now Captain Shang, you wouldn't want to get in trouble again do you?"

Kaito rolls his eyes "I didn't touch him! He had that nose broken by someone else. I wish I could've congratulated them if I knew who they were." he smirked as he looked back at Sakura. She was avoiding his gaze but he did see her roll her eyes.

"Well I think that's enough for the field today don't you think gentlemen?" Cassian smiles as he tucked his hands in his pockets. "Me and the council need it to start our plans for the next game, so if you all don't mind"

Riku finally calmed down and was then released by his team. He wiped more blood off his nose and looked over to Kaito. "You'll get yours Shang," he looked over to Cassian and then to Sakura "...Kinomoto " he turned to leave along with his team right behind him. They gathered their supplies and finally left the field.

"You too Oniichan, I'll see you tonight at home" Cassian smiles, looking at his brother.

Kaito frowned as he looked back at his team. He nodded over to the side, signaling them silently to also grab their stuff to go. He looked over to Sakura. She still looked at him angrily as she crossed her arms,then looked away.

"Whatever. I'll see you later" Kaito turned quickly and followed his team out.

Sakura sighted, glad nothing went too crazy, but even so, it was really hard to avoid a certain pair of eyes that kept staring at her from the soccer side. 'Damn him'

"Well that was a close one huh?" Cassian joked as smiled, he turned back to his group "Remind me to tell our VP to maybe think about a speech about violence not being tolerated here in our beloved school for the next assembly"

His group jolted down on their notepads, setting up the reminder. He looked back at Sakura "You alright Saki?"

Sakura nodded "Yeah I'm fine. Riku...he really hates me now" She smiled evily.

"Let me guess, he asked you out and you gave him that pretty nose job?" Cassian smirks.

"Yeah, I almost….almost! gave him a chance but he was just a fucking asshole. Trying to claim me even though I barely said anything to him. He's lucky I haven't told oniichan about him. I wouldn't mind seeing that beat down" Sakura crossed her arms across her chest, puffing her chest out as she giggled to herself.

Cassian chuckles "Oh Saki, I miss you and all of our evil chats we used to have. We should hang out again. I know it's because well...of him that we stopped, but I'm glad it didn't make you change or anything."

Sakura smiles as she playfully punches his arm "I miss you too Cass. It feels like forever but we definitely should hang out!"

Cassian coughs as he smiles widely, rubbing his arm. Man that girl can hit!

"Just let me know. See you around cherry, ladies." He said as looked over to the group of girls behind her and winked while walking away with the rest of the council.

Sakura turned back to her girls behind her and suddenly blushed as they were all smiling at her.

"Hooeee!….Tomoyo...were you recording?"

"Every last bit of Sakura...it was too irresistible with the drama and especially with the Shang brothers so close by." Tomoyo said as she winked at her.

"Tell me Sakura...How do you know the Shang brothers? They're like almost royalty here at school and the one in the black tank was giving you the goo goo eyes?" Meilin said as she threw her arm around Sakura's shoulder, smirking as she wiggled her eyes.

"Nothing worth going over. He's just history that staying in the past." She unhooked Meilins arms around her shoulder.

"Now I don't know about you guys, but I'm beat and I have a fat dog to feed at home. Wanna help me get this shit in the car or I can throw in some extra laps next practice. Choose one I guess" Sakura said as she smiled at the girls then started to pick up her equipment.

Tomoyo didn't miss her annoyed look. 'Gotta find out about him.'

Meilin and Chiharu didn't hesitate to help their captain. As they gathered all of the equipment and cleaned their area before they left the field, they packed it all up in Sakura's little car.

"Well Sakura there ya go!" Meilin dusted her hands together as she loaded the last box and turned to the other girls behind her.

"Thanks guys...Today was pretty good for the first day right?" Sakura asked worriedly.

"It was definitely good! Got my legs pretty fired up!" Chiharu said as she smacked her thigh.

"I'm probably gonna feel this later," Meilin sighs, not really looking forward to that kind of pain.

All girls giggled as they turned to the sudden sound of a car horn. Akio and Takashi were waving out to them from the red sports car with fire decor on the sides.

"Well that's Akio's car. You have a good night, Sakura!" Meilin said as she turned to walk towards the car, Chiharu behind her as she bid her farewell as well. Tomoyo and Sakura looked at eachother.

"You got my number right? Because I'm not losing you ever again" Tomoyo said as she gave Sakura a hug.

"Yup. Call or message me whenever it's ok?" Sakura smiled as they pulled back. Tomoyo waved at her as she walked towards the car.

Sakura waves at the group as Akio sped off with the music blasting, but as they left she noticed a familiar grey car not far from where she was at. As well as the tall soccer player watching her with his arms crossed leaning on his car. They stared at each other for a moment until Sakura looked away first.

Nope not dealing with that today.

Never again she hoped.

She got in her car and drove off home, not looking back. Never never ever again!

Syaoran, Eriol and Xue all sat around a table in the entertainment room while music was playing in the background. Xue was making sure everything was set up for the night as Syaoran and Eriol played chess.

"Just tell me Eriol...are you sure you're not cheating on her?" Syaoran looked at Eriol seriously as he moved his black rook over on the chess board that was between them. Xue sat at the table as well next to them as he was typing away on his laptop. He looked up at his cousin, full attention to see what he would answer.

"No Xiaolang I'm not. I'm just super busy at school. That's kinda taking my extra time. I promise I'm not cheating on my beloved." He moved his white bishop, taking out the last black pawn.

"Why do I get the feeling you're not telling us something though?" Syaoran frowned as he looked down at the board plotting his next move.

"It's nothing to worry about, your precious little head dear cousin. Just some extra work I'm doing at school is all" Eriol gave him an innocent smile. "Me and Tomoyo are getting better so don't worry. I know she's like your little sister or whatever but I assure you that I'm not doing anything wrong." He moved his knight close to Syaoran's king. "Check"

Syaoran raises his eyebrow, not breaking his poker face as Xue looks over to Eriol.

"We're just making sure you're both doing ok and that your not doing anything stupid. As our future Alpha, Little wolf over here is just making sure our pack is as strong as ever, right cuz? And that you know that you have a pure, perfect queen and not go for trash." Xue looked at the chessboard and back to his laptop, already having said what he had to say.

"Right" Syaoran yawned as he moved his queen, taking out Eriol's white knight.

"Checkmate. Imma go hit the shower. Make sure you tell those idiots to prepare and not to be late.I don't want to hear Fang bitching again. See you guys in a bit." He patted Eriol on his shoulder as he walked by them to his room to relax before getting ready for the war they are about to start that night. He's been training non stop for tonight and Isn't about to lose to a bunch of asshole Aka Foxes. After his quick shower, he got ready dressing up all in black and tying up his black combat boots. He reached over to his phone as he layed back on his bed checking his phone.

~Hey just woke up from a much needed nap! Today was pretty interesting after practice! The Damn Football and Soccer team almost went for eachother but luckily that was stopped before it got out of hand. Lol Well I know you're probably with your family so call me later before bed. I miss hearing your voice./ Ja ne ~

Syaoran smiled as he quickly got up from his bed and pocketed his phone. He went over to his drawer and pulled out his wolf mask and grabbed his jacket, leaving his room to meet up with the pack. He can't wait to hear her voice too.

Sakura's night was pretty busy after her much needed nap from practice that morning. On the board showed that her dad and brother were gonna be out late so she just basically cooked dinner for herself and cleaned whatever mess she made and more. After taking Kero to the park for a while she came back home and showered as she changed into her pjs for the night. She decided she was going to watch TV since she had it all to herself and turned it on with the news channel showing.

Her phone beeped at that moment and she looked at her phone smiling.

-Still awake?-

Sakura quickly started to go back to her room as her phone started to ring and she answered "Hello..?"

What she didn't see was the television had breaking news on the screen as well as a burning building with many police and paramedics running around with the news anchorman in the middle of the screen.

"From what information we collected from the police, it seems that this is caused by an act of war from the notorious gang Kuroi Wolves to the deadly Aka Foxes. These two powerful gangs have been at war with each other for almost the past 55 years in Hong Kong and it seems like they have moved back here to our beloved town of Tomoeda. Since the last attack 12 years ago…"
