A Simple Boo
The Boo stood in front of the crowd of Bowser's former minions. Well, technically, he was a Goomba currently, but that didn't matter. He had a job to do, and he was ready to do it.
"Fellow minions, why do you stay in Toad Town? The Toads refuse to accept you, even though you've done nothing wrong! Why? Because they believe themselves to be superior! All because we believed the Mushroom Kingdom would be better with Lord Bowser in charge!" This sent murmurs of agreement throughout the crowd, but the conversation was just getting interesting.
"Well, what if I were to tell you that our king is alive! I've been working for him in secret, and now he has decided to reveal himself to you. This reveal, however, comes with a choice. You can join us, and assist in taking back the kingdom we controlled for so long! Or, you can stay in Toad Town, and be wiped out along with the Princess and the Toads." More murmuring, with most nodding their heads while a handful seemed hesitant. "Those are your choices, and I hope you will all follow your true leader. Those that wish to join us, follow me." The Boo turned and left the crowd in a dramatic fashion, only briefly turning to see how many were following him. Just as he expected, the vast majority trailed behind him, and only a few stayed behind.
"No matter," he thought, "This will be more than enough to please King Boo." He let out a cackle as the large group made its way towards the mansion.
King Boo
King Boo watched as his new army filed into the mansion, a mixture of fear and awe on their faces as their eyes scanned the mansion. Their expressions improved, however, when they saw their precious Lord Bowser standing before them.
"My minions!" he shouted, watching his new subjects. "Today is the day you take back the kingdom that was once yours!" A cheer arose from the crown, causing King Boo to grin. "However, if this is going to work, you're going to need some improvements." He snapped his fingers, and suddenly around a hundred Boos materialized before each one flew into a minion. Soon, every being in the entire room was possessed, their glassy eyes staring at their leader as Bowser Jr. ran into the room.
"Alright, I'm back, what did I miss?" He suddenly noticed the large crowd, and laughed. "Yes, my army is here! Is it time to attack now?" King Boo smirked as he returned his attention to the army.
"Yes, it is time."
Author's note: Oh, wow, I finally finished another chapter, how long-3 MONTHS?! Okay, I seriously didn't intend to take that long of a break. But, I bring good news, and bad news. The good news is, I think I finally figured out what to do for the rest of this fic, along with some ideas for what to do next. The bad news is, school is starting back soon, and I probably won't have as much time to work on this. Don't worry, though, it won't be as long as this break. So, yeah, I'll see you in the next chapter, probably in about a week or so.
