Chapter 1: "Say My Name"
Meimi was waiting on Daiki as she couldn't wait for their date to start. When Daiki had finally arrived, he softly smiled at her. "You didn't wait long did you, Haneoka?" Hearing her last name from Daiki's lips shouldn't have bothered Meimi but it did and she pouted at him. Daiki looked at her in confusion. "What's wrong, Haneoka? I'm trying to do everything perfectly." He told her, slightly glaring at her.
Meimi then sighed. "I'm sorry but I was wondering why are you calling me by my last name? We're...together now, right?" Meimi asked him. Daiki nodded his head. "T-then, my first name should be..." Now Meimi felt silly! She then groaned. What am I'm doing? He can call me whatever he's comfortable with. The girl thought as she turned away from him, feeling ashamed. Just because I'm ready to call him Daiki doesn't mean he's ready to address me as Meimi. The girl thought as she had suddenly realized how foolish she was being.
"No, I'm sorry as well. I should have known." Daiki tells her and Meimi looked up at her boyfriend. "We've been dating for a couple of months now. I was just waiting for the right time to use your first name, Meimi." The way Daiki had said her name had sent shudders down the girl's spine as she looked up at the boy of her dreams.
"D-Daiki." Meimi said Daiki's name on her lips.
"Meimi." He said her name again as their lips touched.
It was a gentle kiss that the two shared but it wasn't their first kiss but it definitely wouldn't be their last kiss.
It was to the two teens that their date was forgotten about as they spent time in the park kissing each other.
"I love you, Meimi." Daiki spoke first after they had pulled apart.
"I love you too, you big lug head." Meimi tells Daiki and the teen rolled his eyes.
"Always down for teasing me, aren't you, Meimi?" Daiki asked her and the girl smiled at him.
"How else would I had gotten your attention as Saint Tail then, smart boy?" Meimi asked him and Daiki was floored by the question but he did try to come up with an answer. When he couldn't find any answer other than Meimi's teasing of him, he had to admit that the girl was right. When he had admitted that, he was rewarded with a kiss on the cheek, which made him blush.
"I love you." He told Meimi and the girl responded with kind as they both held each other as they held loving gazes with each other.
