A/N

Heeyyyy— alright to explain what happened to me, basically I got caught up in getting ready for school, and Well let's just say that some personal things happened there. Also my friend has been simultaneously trying to drag me into a new fandom so she doesn't feel lonely—

I don't think you're here to listen to all my problems so like —

Writing issues! Well now I got school going on so I've got to balance my time now.. I don't really know when I'll update the next chapter, but I predict it won't be too fast unless I have a major motivation boost. Though with all the homework I've been having I bought it'll be like that.

Anyway-

Without further a due,

The next chapter.

Enjoy :)

The last thing he remembered.. was..

"..Brother?"

Slowly Madara opened his eyes, at first it was blurred with the haze of sleep. Once his vision cleared, his eyes landed on someone familiar.. Izu.. Izuna. That was his name. Though instead of being within that forest or Hashirama's house he was somewhere he didn't recognize. Except.. he did know this place. It was familiar to him somehow. They were at some sort of camp from what he could tell. Glancing just past Izuna's shoulder as he'd entered the tent, to confirm. He himself was laying down. He was using his arms as a pillow to support his head.

"What is it Izuna." he'd heard himself saying. However, this only made his confusion grow more so. He hasn't actually spoken himself.. but he did?

"Why aren't you sleeping? You have to fight that damn Senju leader tomorrow." Izuna replied back simply, though he sounded angry. Madara, or what he assumed to be him, only gave a hum in response before casting his gaze to the 'ceiling' of the tent. They had to travel for..for something.

"What's wrong?" Izuna suddenly inquired. This resulted with another hum however this time it was in amusement. "Am I really that easy to read?" He'd questioned to no one in particular but Izuna gave a response anyway. "You are my brother, I'd be some kind of idiot if I couldn't tell your emotions. Though you haven't been making that easy.." he mumbled the last part. Another amusing hum. "Sooo..?" Izuna started without continuing. "So what?" Madara shot back. "What's on your mind? Is it what the elders said? If so you know what that means." Izuna said while punching his fist into his hand as if to show that he'd beat someone.

Madara's features relaxed a tad at the playful threat. "No no, it's not that. It's just.." Madara went quiet a moment debating his answer. ".. Do you think.. don't you think we've fought enough wars?" For a moment Izuna stayed quiet studying him before sighing. "Yeah.. I think we all need a break, but with all the demands we've been getting to matched up against those damned Senju's it's just.." Izuna then gave a dramatic groan. "I think I'm done being sore now." Izuna was doing a dramatic pose looking to be like some sort of damsel in destress, a hand to his forehead and everything. Before suddenly dropping to the floor. As if to pray. "Please oh heavenly gods, bless us with a break."

This got a snort from Madara, which seemed only Izuna could do. That or the nights when the Uchiha throw a celebration, then booze is passed around. The drunken fools seemed to amuse him plenty well.

Wait.. How'd he known that..? The thought was interrupted by a sharp pain to the head that caused him to grit his teeth in pain. Then it hit him. Was this.. some sort of memory? It had to be. However it wasn't like the ones he's had before that were just bits and pieces of his fragmented memory.

"Yeah.." he'd spoken again which brought him from his thoughts. "But.. that's." Not what I meant. Madara finished for himself. "Unfortunately not gonna happen." This shocked him a moment. Had he lied to Izuna? Izuna gave a small smile seemingly pleased with that answer. "Unfortunately. Anyway I'm gonna go switch my watch shift now. I'm tired." Izuna said as he stretched and hid a yawn behind his hand. "I'll be back!" With that he was gone.

Madara's gaze landed on the desk with a lit lamp on the desk. Getting up from his place on the ground, he walked over to the light watching it burn for a moment, before putting it out. "I wonder.. How would you have answered.. Has-"

The first thing he awoke to were sounds of yelling. Then something that sounded suspiciously close to the clashing for swords. Madara's eyebrows furrowed.

"Izuna please, I don't thing our poor house can take your.."

"What strange jutsu was that?! Did you just curse me or something you damn Senju!?"

"Guys..?"

"What ridiculous words are you spouting?! I didn't do anything but get us here faster!

"..Guys.."

"Yeah like I'd ever believe a damned Senju like you!"

"Why you-!"

"Can't we just-"

"Shut up Hashirama!"

That last line was said in unison before the sound of a shuffle was heard. Madara gave a mental groan. Slowly he sat up from his place on the futon. His hand went to his head as he took a moment to steady himself before his eyes fluttered open.

The seen before him was.. interesting..

This time he was in fact in the house where Hashirama and Tobirama resided. How that wasn't the interesting thing. The interesting thing was Tobirama and Izuna were both fighting as expected, except he'd opened his eyes just in time for Izuna to dodge an attempted punch by crouching then kicking out his leg and swiping at Tobirama's legs which inedibly sent him to the ground. Izuna straightened up but just as he opened his mouth to most likely, make fun of the fallen albino. Said albino kicked Izuna's legs out from under him. "You damn-!" Then he hit the ground with a small 'oof'.

Then there was Hashirama.. he was doing that thing again. He had his head dropped and a cloud appearing, and he practically screamed depressed. Madara debated on wether or not he should pretend to still be asleep. Just when he was about to lay back down Hashirama happened to glance his way, and just like that the cloud of depression was whisked away. "Madara! How are you doing? Are you in any pain at all?" Great.

At the mention of Madara's name both Tobirama and Izuna's scuffle came to a holt before Izuna was shooting up and getting to Madara's side, leaving Tobirama on the floor. Though the albino soon stood up, patting himself off as if to clear the dust before his eyes settled upon the seane, observing from his place by the door.

"I'm fine." Madara mumbled as his gaze shifted to Izuna. At first the younger looked worried, before a look he didn't recognize at first had shown on his features, then it was gone again. The The realization that hit next was not a pleasant one. In fact,Madara felt a pang of guilt within his chest. He knew that look. It was of a distant haze like memory, but he knew that look. One that he'd silently promised he'd never have to see again. Wait.. How had he known that..? Just trying to remember the memory that had started to come to him caused him pain, and instinctively, he raised his hand to his head grit his teeth from the pain caused.

However a short few seconds later Hashirama's hands took his face, just as he went to argue or ask to be released, his protest died off assoothing warmth enveloped him, and just like that, the pain was gone. Involuntarily, his body started to relax from it's once tense form.

Finally after a moment Hashirama released his face nad was now giving him a look. It was then that Madara realized he'd said something. "..what." The words had come out a little more harsh than he'd expected, like more as a demand. However it didn't feel wrong to speak that way.. Strangely enough, it felt familiar, yet vile at the same time. It reminded him of his dream like memory.

From the corner of his eyes he saw Tobirama tense at his harsh words, Izuna gave no response simply a blank face. Hashirama remained silent for a moment. After a few seconds of this strange silence Madara began to tense up again now be gaining to wonder if he should correct his tone. However before he could Hashirama spoke up. He smiled, "I asked how you were feeling or if you remembered anything." His tone was calm and kind as usual, but it was more..

"Madara?"

He flinched at the sudden hand on his shoulder, his arm even twitched in need to smack the hand away, however Madara resisted the urge.

What was going on..

He hadn't even though of trying to do that before now. The raven was also tensing the longer Hashirama kept his hand there. Not only that, Madara was starting to become more aware of his surroundings, taking more attention to the smallest shifts in movement.

With this new hyper awareness, he noticed that Tobirama was becoming more tense by the second. His expression remained hard. He'd always been.. stiff and hard to read, but not like this, or was it that he'd always been this.. wary?

Izuna was still, not making making any movement besides the rise and falling of his chest. Madara still wasn't sure how to perceive the younger male, however he felt that this behavior was unnatural for other.

Hashirama however, remained the same. Calm, relaxed, and caring. Well mostly. There was still uncertainly within his eyes. Just then he realized he still hadn't spoken yet. Though he really didn't know how to answer..

How did he feel? He felt.. different. Like his body had reawaken or remembered something that he hadn't. Distantly, Madara wondered if it was that Dream like memory that caused this change in him.

"..I'm fine.." This time Madara's tone was more normal, at least to him it was. Tobirama seemed to think so as well, he had relaxed a little. "..I'm just tired.." he replied as he studied them.

Tobirama remained silent. Izuna looked as though he wanted to say something. Finally, Hashirama looked conflicted for a moment before nodding. A small smile remaining on his features as he spoke. "Alright. We'll let you rest, and check in with you another time then." With that said he stood up from his place on the floor.

Tobirama exited first. Though he lingered by the doorway for a moment before disappearing from sight. Hashirama hovered until Izuna shot him a glare to which made the man drop his head, his depressed state returning as he dragged his feet on his way out the door.

Izuna however, did not move from his spot. Crouched onto his knees, now looking to the blanket that covered Madara. He was silently with an unreadable expression. For quite a while they remained quiet, at first is was a comfortable one, though he started to second guess that claim. Just as he was about to clear his throat to speak, Izuna stole his chance.

"Brother.." his monotone matched his unreadable expression so Madara had a hard time discovering what he should prepare himself for. As if not trusting his own voice Madara made a hum is response.

"..You do remember me.. right?"
