Zenzizenzizenzic: n. the eighth power of a number
Hogan was never best at math. He did what he could, but math was too logical for his tastes. There was no room for creativity, despite what his teachers said about school math being different from professional math. He did remember some math from back then, and one thing was how exponential numbers worked.
With anything done by himself, it did not matter how hard he worked, because it was still just himself. One to the power of anything. But even with one other, two for example— 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256… Well, he could do anything.
