Back with another story! And yes, it's another Frieza OC. I know I've already done at least two stories of my OCs being from our own reality who happen to land in the DBZ Universe. But hey, they are fun to write. No worries, I make sure they all have different plotlines so they are not similar to one another. So without further delay, here's the first chapter to my new story, 'Be Careful What You Wish For'. Enjoy :)

Haleiwa, Hawaii. September 5, 2020

"Dammit V! I told you not to use that new surf board! If Kai finds one scratch on it then your ass is grass Missy!" Shouted the young man in blue surf shorts and a bright neon orange tank that said, 'Surf Life' on the front.

The petite young woman came running over with the newly polished board.

"Oh come on, David. You know when we make new surf boards, I need to try these new babies out. There are no scratches, just take a look for yourself." She said, as she pushed a long light purple streak behind her shoulder.

He sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose. "Look I get it, surfing is in my blood too. But we're expecting a heavy tourist season this time around. That means; more surf lessons and more surf board sales. Sometimes we can't make them fast enough, before the last batch sell out. I really need you right now to help us out with the surf boards. Kai really liked your last board designs. He wants to know if you can dish out a few more."

The surf shop the three of them worked in has been in Kai's family for the last couple generations. His grandfather had a passion for surfing since he was a kid. After winning a few championships, he raised up enough money to open his own surf shop. It was a popular hot spot for both locals and tourists who wanted to purchase some of the best boards around the Haleiwa Area. Violet, along with her cousin David, moved to this beautiful island years ago from Baltimore, Maryland. Both their Dads worked for the same company.

As brothers, they were close. So when one got transferred to Haleiwa, Hawaii the other followed. Both men packed up their families and moved them cross country, to the island in the south pacific. The kids loved it and still proclaim it's the best thing that ever happened to them. It was not long after they moved here they met Kai. Who introduce them to surfing.

It became their lifelong passion, especially for Violet. She was a surfing fanatic and an artist. She often incorporated her artistic talents into surf boards. Kai and herself came up with most of the board designs. While David did best at promoting and selling the boards. And when Violet wasn't working in the shop, she was either surfing or giving surf lessons to young locals and some tourists.

Yet, even though she was happy with how her life was turning out. She couldn't help but feel something was missing in her life. Something new and different. Like many people, she sometimes wish she could be someone else or be in a different time or place. Violet sometimes blames these feelings on her love of sci-fi movies and shows. As a kid, she often wondered what it would be like to live on another world and meet intelligent alien beings. It was stuff like this that got her hooked on anime shows when she was younger.

Hell, she still watches anime shows to this day. David pokes fun at her for having a DVD Collection of a couple of her favorite shows. Violet was brought out of her daydream, when he started snapping his fingers in front of her face.

"Hello? Earth to V. The commander of the mother ship would like you back ASAP with his board." He teased.

Violet rolled her ocean blue eyes and trudged passed him. It's not like she had far to go. The shop was not far from the beach she was at. A seven minute walk at best. On the way, the wind picked up. Blowing dark brown and violet strands of hair into her face. As she pushed her long, thick hair back. Violet felt the hair on the back of her neck stand up.

The young woman looked around, feeling like she was being watched. But all she saw were the usual local beach crowds. No one was paying any attention to her as she walked along the beach. Violet shrugged it off, unaware that a pair of purple eyes were watching her from a distance, in an area slightly hidden by palm trees.

As she walked through the door to Eleu's Surf Shop, Violet was met with a slightly annoyed Kai. He had his arms crossed and was giving her a pointed look.

"Violet Angelina Romano, I'm all for letting you borrow my shit. But ask me first before running off with it." The slightly older Hawaiian man said, in a stern voice.

She smiles, "Chill Dude, you know I always return said 'Shit' when I'm done testing it out. It's certainly a thing of beauty and I wanted to see how smoothly it glides on the waves. And let me perfect my ass kissing skills when I tell you; this baby is a smooth ride."

She ended with patting the side of the board. Kai's straight face erupted into laughter.

"Like I said, next time just ask me or let me know when you borrow something. Plus, if you wrecked it; I would've booted your little ass all the way back to the homeland of your ancestors, in Italy." He joked.

She waves him off, "Yeah, yeah, yeah. Ti amo anch'io, orsacchiotto gigante."

He rolls his eyes, "Yeah, whatever the hell that means, ya pipsqueak."

Violet punches his arm, "Hey, I'm not that short."

Denying the fact that she only stood at 4ft 11in tall. Kai smirks and pats the top of her head.

"Relax, no one else knows you need to use a step stool for the washing machine at your house. Reaching for clothes at the very bottom can be such a bitch." He teased.

He took off running to the back room, with Violet close on his heels cursing him off. After a minute of throwing names back and forth, Violet and Kai started working on a couple more boards. David came in shortly after, when more customers came into the shop. The rest of the day was pretty slow, due to low numbers of customers. So Kai told the cousins Aloha, get the fuck out, and enjoy the rest of their evening. They laughed and exchanged a few more words before heading out.

"So V, where you off to now? No wait let me guess, knitting? No, clubbing. Oh right, surfing." David said, walking backwards while talking to Violet.

They may have been cousins, but they acted more like siblings. They were close in age and David always viewed her more as a sister. Sure, David already had a younger brother and sister. While Violet herself had a younger brother. But The two of them had a lot in common and spent more time with each other than their own siblings. They worked together under Kai at his shop and both of them held surfing lessons. With their own batch of students.

And of course, none of their siblings had a passion for surfing like Violet and David. She playfully punched his arm.

"You bet your ass I am. But first, I'm grabbing some dinner down at Ailani's Tiki Cafe'. You want to come with?" Violet asks.

He shakes his head, "Rain check V. I promised Morgan I'd help her with a science project. You know, for the upcoming science fair at the high school."

Violet smiles, "Yeah, I remember now. Such a good big brother you are."

She says in a baby voice as she pinches his cheek. David laughs and swats her hand away.

"Tell Morgan and Charlie I said Hi." Violet told her cousin, as he got on his moped.

"Will do, later V." He says and gives her a fist bump.

She get's on her own moped that was parked next to his and heads a few blocks down to the Cafe'. She orders a burger, some fries, and a water. Instead of sitting at one of the out door tables, Violet treks down to the beach and find's a secluded spot to sit and eat. There were still at least two and a half hours left of sun light. Plenty of time to get in some surfing after dinner. Her small rental home that she in fact rents from Kai, is a couple blocks down the stretch of beach. It wouldn't take her long to run their and grab her surf board. She was pulled from her train of thought when she heard someone clear their throat.

"Excuse me, you mind if I joined you? You certainly picked a nice view." Came a light, bubbly male voice.

When Violet shifted her gaze to the man in front of her she almost choked on her food. He was blue! He had a blue circle around his head and neck and was dressed in a strange outfit, complete with a large staff with an orb at the end. 'No fucking way! This can't be. He's not suppose to be real!' She thought trying to calm her panicked heart. His eyes widened slightly and he shushed her, thinking she may scream.

"Your? Your?" Was all she could get out.

He smiles, "My apologies, I am Whis. I believe the appropriate term you use here is; 'Aloha' correct?"

Her mouth dropped open in confirmation. Violet knew who he was. The whole Dragon Ball Saga, was one of her favorite anime shows growing up. It was one of the few shows she still watched to this day. It's one of the things that gave her interest in the martial arts. She still proudly displays her first and second degree black belts from her time doing kick boxing and karate.

"But how? I mean you can't be real. It's just not possible." She said between gasps.

"I assure you. I'm very real and your not hallucinating. You mind sharing some of those curly cheese fries? They look absolutely delicious." The food loving angel asked.

Violet slowly nodded and handed him the whole plate of fries. He took the plate with a 'thank you' and sat on a nearby rock in the sand.

"Sorry for asking, but what is it your doing here? I doubt you would crossed dimensions or realities just to try some food." She stated.

He shoved a couple fries in his mouth with an 'Mmmm' sound. "You cut right to the chase. I like that. I came here with a proposition. There is some slight problems happening in our universe. And I think a mortal from this dimension may do the trick in solving it. I think you would happen to be a good choice. Something tells me your familiar with us and our universe, correct? This is why I think it would be beneficial to ask you for assistance. I have searched for others in this world. But none of them sadly seem to possess the strong will and determination that I'm looking for. Well, until I came across you that is."

She shoots up from her spot in the sand, causing the burger to tumble out of her lap.

"Are you saying you want me to go with you?! You have any idea how crazy that sounds?!" Violet shouts.

Whis pops another piece of French fry in his mouth. "Yes, to your first question. Don't fret, it's not forever. Just until you can help us fix these problems we're having."

She raises a dark brow in question. "What kind of problems? Are they extremely dangerous?"

He looked away for a moment. "I'm not going to lie, it's a big possibility. But it's very important. It could spell disaster for our own universe."

Violet crosses her arms. "If that's the case, why not have Goku and Vegeta handle the problem. They were always able to take out major threats in the past."

The blue man sighs, "Unfortunately, there is only one way they can deal with this problem. But I rather look into an alternative route besides that one."

At first thought, Violet was definitely going to decline. She's more than aware what kind of powerful people inhabit the DBZ Universe alone. But Whis, had a bit of a desperate gleam in his pale purple eyes. And she could never turn away from someone in need in the past. Most of it lies in volunteering in shelters both for people and animals alike. She also donates food and old clothes to places that need them.

She closes her eyes for a moment and lets out a drawn out exhale. "You promise you will send me back here afterwards, Whis?"

He gives her a small smile and a slight bow. "You have my word. And my gratitude, V."

Her eyes narrow, "How did you know my name?"

He covers his mouth with his hand and lets out a little giggle. "It's what that young man shouted earlier was it not? He called you V, that's your name correct?"

Her eyes widened. 'He'd been watching me this whole time!?' But she answers him anyways.

"Yeah, though technically 'V' is my nickname. My full name is Violet. Can I just stop at my place first? I need to change and text everyone to let them know I'll be away for a little while. It's only a couple blocks down the beach. You can see it from here. That small light blue house over there." She says, as she points it out to him.

He smirks, "No problem."

He taps his staff once and they are instantly transported to her home.

"Whoa! A little warning next time you do that!" She yells.

"Apologies, but we're kind of in a hurry." He replies.

Violet told him to wait in the living room. She went into her bedroom and grabbed a change of clothes. The young woman then rushed into the bathroom for a quick shower. After five minutes, she was out in fresh clean clothes. She threw her 'Rip Curl' wetsuit in the hamper on the way back to her bedroom. Violet pulled a small, thin duffel bag out of her closet and shoved more clothes into it along with a few other bathroom essentials. She even brought along her small travel sketchbook that was only 5x8' inches big.

She then sent a group text out to her family and friends telling them a relief emergency just came up. So she was taking a leave of absence for a while. Violet knew they would buy it. Because this isn't the first time she joined a last minute emergency flight out for a hurricane relief project to help victims of natural disaster crisis like hurricanes and tropical storms. Most of them replied back after a couple minutes wishing her good luck and to be careful. With that, she shouldered her bag and met up with Whis in her living room.

"Alright, I'm ready. But before we leave, can you tell me what this big problem is that I'll be facing?" She asked.

He gave her a knowing smile. "I'm afraid I can't divulge that information yet. But I assure you that you will know in due time. For now, you will have to trust me, when I say your assistance will make a difference for us."

Before he gave her time to change her mind, Whis tapped the staff three times. A bright luminescent light swirled around them. Then within the next moment they disappeared, leaving her house vacant.

That's it for chapter one! Hope it gave everyone good insight to my OC. Next chapter she will meet our favorite Z Fighters! Until Next Time ;)
