Hello all, this is my first fanfic in which I am going to write about anime's number 1 couple : Goku and Chichi, the motivation behind writing this fic is that there are tones of stupid writers with with zero iq who try to bash Goku and Chichi's relationship by making them cheat each other, divorce each other blah blah blah all crap and OOC writings, they don't even care if they are being offensive with their writing and portraying of the characters to the people who ship them, they also don't care if someone criticizes them for it, so this fic like is a slap for those kind of people, I want to show how many people have misinterpreted Goku and Chichi's relationship completely, I have done enough research on the drangonball franchise so I am confident that I can do it.
Most of the people don't really admire this couple because one thing they are not able to realize about them is that they are so loyal and committed to each other that they just never leave each other no matter what the circumstances are, don't we all look for the same kind of things in our life? I hope yes. So this is a fic which is going to be about their journey together from their first meet to their final moments and beyond.
I will try to stick to canon as much as possible but I will also add a little bit of my creativity in it.
I hope that you all will like it and please give me reviews too so I can improve more.

This first chapter is gonna be from Chichi's perspective btw.
Chapter 1 : Promises
Chichi's Pov:
It was a beautiful day in my castle where I was dreaming about that one guy with a fluffy tail and a cloud who said he will think about me and will make me his bride.
"I was wondering...do you think that you even gonna to think about me again Goku?"
"Yeah I think so.""
Oh.. my.. you're so funny."
"Do you think that.. you.. ever gonna think about me again chichi?"
"Chichi?" A voice reached my ears and I suddenly get snapped out from my daydreaming.
"Yeah dad what is it!?" I shouted without looking back at him.
I heard some footsteps approaching me and I knew it was none other than my father itself, I keep looking towards the sky, my father reached me and I looked at him, he looked like he was panting.
"Oh.. nothing my baby I was just worried that where were you this entire time so I came to look out for you" Seriously my father sometimes worries about me too much, I thought, a little annoyed by his sudden intrusion.
"I am here dad, do you want something?"I asked.
"Nothing my dear, what were you doing?" he asked and I blushed a little.
"Umm.." How should I say it? I kept thinking in my mind.
"Well.. I was umm.. you know... " I blushed even harder thinking about Goku and our little time together. I thought it should just be between me and him as it will be better that way for now, and then I will surprise my father by telling him that I have fallen for Goku the guy who saved our village from the fire and promised me that he will make me his bride. But I was also afraid that what I will tell him now can also be a lie. But how can I lie to my own father?
"Well honey...?" my father asked, he become a bit suspicious about what his own daughter can be hiding from him?
I thought that it will be better to tell him beacuse I believe he likes Goku, he is not the same person anymore who was just killing everyone whoever tries to steal his treasure, I still remembered that day and it always haunted me, he always said I love you and I am just trying to protect you by killing those people, I knew my father always loved me but the way he shows it always scared me, but that's enough thinking about past now.
My father will definitely understand me and the guy who was the main reason behind saving his castle and treasure from the fire.
So with bravery in my eyes, I spoke to him.
"I was dreaming about my marriage with a certain special someone" I said.
"Well.. you know that you are not that age to think about that kind of stuff now do you? or.. do you not?" that little not at the end scared me a little but I believe that I will not back down from saying the truth about me and Goku's promise.
So I spoke to my father again, this time with more bravery.
"I was dreaming about me and Goku and our little promise that we made to each other." I said.
"What Promise?" my father asked.
"Umm.. about Goku thinking about me and making me his bride" I replied.
My father take a moment to process my words, then out of nowhere-
"WAAAAAHAT!!?" he roared so loud that I thought my eardrums are damaged for sure this time.
"You promised Goku without any of my concern that you will become his bride!!?" He asked angrily. Well I didn't exactly said that to him but I knew my father was no fool, he knows what promises are meant for, if I get promised by someone to make me his bride then its obvious that I have made the same promise to him too.
After all promises are those which are made to each other and not by just one person to other isn't it?
"Yeah dad.., but I know you like Goku he tried to save your village and castle and he even helped us to get the bansho fan from Roshi" I said, feeling a bit proud of my future husband's help with a little smirk on my face.
"Yeah I will give him that, but that still doesn't mean that I will give away my daughter just because of some stupid promise!" my father said, and I started getting angry at his words.
"Are you saying that Goku and I were stupid by making each other a promise?"
"Yes!!" he said angrily and I was getting at my peak with his bad reply.
"WHY!?" I shouted, unable to control my emotions anymore.
"Chichi you don't know what you have done!?" he said worriedly.
Listening to my father's words I didn''t understand what he is actually so worried about?
"Why are you so worried?" I asked, a bit calmly this time.
"Chichi I know how much promises mean to you but what you have done with Goku is just downright childish!" he said, a bit louder this time. I get confused by his words, what can be so childish about a promise?, he always told me that promises are made to keep them so if Goku has promised me to make me his bride then he will definitely keep it and will come to me to make me his bride isn't it?
But by judging my father's expressions I thought there is something more than that, does he not like Goku at all?
"Is it Goku which is bothering you dad?" I asked, secretly hoping that its not true.
"Its not honey, but listen to me what I am going to say, its.. serious.." his tone was serious this time and I didn't dare to say anything to him, sometimes my father becomes scary and intimidating when he is serious especially because he is gigantic in size.
"ok dad" I said, a bit intimidated by my own father.
"Chichi the promises which you and Goku have made to each other are not of any value, it was childish for both of you to do that, you both are child right now and you don't understand the depth and gravity of your words" he said calmly. But I was getting a bit nervous, well irritated to be honest.
"Why it is not of any value?" I asked.
"Chichi a promise made in childhood are often childish and forgettable, there is a huge chance that you will, ok maybe not you, but Goku will forget his promise when he grows up and then he will not make you his bride" he said calmly, hoping his daughter will understand the gravity of his words but instead he saw that he just made his daughter very angry. And he knew what was coming for him.
"How dare you say that Goku will not come for me!? He said to me that he always keeps his promises!! so he will come to me and make me his bride!!" I almost shouted, my emotions started to come out because I feel like I almost got betrayed by my own father.
"Honey its not like this but.." he was unable to finish his sentence because he saw his daughter's eyes started tearing up, he panicked and quickly ran towards me, hugging me tightly. He started to pat me gently and tries to soothe me with his words.
"Honey I know how much promises mean to you but you should know that as your father I am worried about you too, I don't want if something bad happens and Goku forgets about his promise and not come back to make you his bride then you will cry your heart out, I know how much you will be affected and I don't want to see my daughter that way" he said in a worried manner. I was almost listening and somehow understanding his words. He is just worried that the promise will not be fulfilled when we grow up.
"Dad you don't have to worry, please have faith in me and Goku, we both have made a promise to each other and we both will keep it" I said confidently hoping that he will understand me too just as I understood him. But his expressions said otherwise.
"I promise you dad, Goku will not forget about me, when we both grow up he will come to make me his bride" I said to my father again hoping that he will now have faith in his daughter and will let me go out of his arms because I was started getting hurt now.
He realized what I was saying, and just like any good father he said that he believe in me and hugged me even tighter, which was now seriously hurting my back.
"Dad can you please let go?" I said hoping he will listen, which he slowly did.
"Sorry honey, I just caught in something" he said, a bit embarrassed by his behavior.
"Its okay dad, now lets go, its lunch time" I said giddy as a child, I grabbed his hand and we both go back inside our castle in order to have lunch and enjoy ourselves.
