Arabian Nights
*A brown male owl with brown eyes & an orange beak wearing a blue cloak was riding a camel through the desert*

Oh, imagine a land
It's a faraway place
Where the caravan camels roam
Where you wander among
Every culture and tongue
It's chaotic
But hey, it's home
*Behind them, the sun was setting*
When the winds from the east
And the sun's from the west
And the sand in the glass is right
Come on down
Stop on by
Hop a carpet and fly
To another Arabian night
*He went over a hill, revealing a large city with an enormous palace looming over it. He went into the city & a white Chao wearing a green scarf flew past him*
As you wind through the streets
At the fabled bazaars
With the cardamom - cluttered stalls
You can smell every spice
While you haggle the price
Of the silks and the satin shawls
*The white Chao flew up to a a orange female cat with peach skin, her hair in a high ponytail & blue eyes wearing rags (look up "female Aladdin" by "Kadakithis" on "DeviantArt") with a red bag over her right shoulder & landed on her left shoulder*
Oh, the music that plays
As you move through a maze
In the haze of your delight
You are caught in a dance
You are lost in the trance
Of another Arabian night
*The owl then passed by the gates that led to the palace. Laying on a gold & red velvet fainting chair, was a female hedgehog with purple hair/quills, peach skin and green eyes wearing a white dress, red cape, & a gold crown (look up "Queen Aleena" on "Pooh's Adventures Wiki"), conversing with a a female hedgehog with teal fur, dark purple hair, peach skin, & purple eyes wearing a purple dress (look up "Nasira" on ""Disney Wiki") & holding a gold snake staff. Sitting on a fountain behind them was a male black hedgehog with red stripes, tan skin, & red eyes wearing red & black royal attire (look up "Arabian Prince" by "Sam-Sanabria" on "DeviantArt") & a gold ruby ring on his right hand. A blonde tiger with blue eyes came up to him & he petted it. A male black armadillo with a red shell, peach skin, & blue eyes wearing a red handkerchief around his neck, a blue vest with gold trim, blue gloves, a red belt, baggy beige pants, & red pointed shoes (look up "Sonic the Hedgehog Cosium Style" by "LiyuConberma" on "DeviantArt") came up to them & gave them each a plate of food. A purple parrot with blue primary, tail feathers & eyes flew past them*

*The owl made his way through the back allies of the city*
There's a road that may lead you
To good or to greed through
The power your wishing commands

*He then found himself at an old abandon well*

Out there on the dunes
*Harvey then stopped, got off the camel, & turned to the audience*
Harvey Who: Saalam and good evening fellow travelers. I am Harvey Who, seeker of knowledge. I welcome you to Shamar. A city of mystery and enchantment. It is also the place of where the story I am about to tell you takes place. *he reached into his sleeve & pulled out a large dark green jewel* Do not be fooled by it's common place appearance. Like so many things it is not what is outside, but what is inside that counts. For I assure you, this is no ordinary gem. It once changed the course of a young girl's life. A young girl who like this jewel was more than what she seemed . . . a Diamond in the Rough. Our tale begins on a dark night, where a dark figure waits, with a dark purpose.
*Under the desert night sky, the female teal hedgehog was sitting on a black pasha (look up "Streaking Pasha" on "Sonic News Network"). On her shoulder was the purple parrot. A purple weasel wearing a black cloak, hood, brown pants & black boots riding a grey pasha came towards them. The weasel got off his horse & looked at the hedgehog*
Breezie: You are late.
Nack: A thousand apologies, my lady.
Breezie: You have it then?
Nack: I had to slit a few throats, but I got it. *he pulled half of a gold Chao statue out of his bag. Breezie reached for it, but he pulled his hand back* Ah, ah, ah, the treasure? YOW!
*The parrot had snatched the chao from his hand & dropped it in the hedgehog's open one*
Breezie: Trust me my pungent friend. *she took out the other half of the Chao statue* You'll get what's coming to you.
Wave: What's coming to you! Raa!
*She put the two halves together & the Chao statue suddenly sprung to life. After circling around Breezie twice, the Chao statue flew away*
Breezie: Quickly! Follow the trail! *She rode her pasha after the Chao statue. Nack got back on his pasha & followed her* Faster! *The Chao statue soon came to a sand dune. It split in half & circled around the dune. The two halves went into the dune & the ground started to shake. Both riders were thrown off their pashas a tiger head rose from the sand, opening it's large mouth* At last, after all my years of searching, the Cave of Wonders.
Wave: Raa! Cave of Wonders!
Nack: Whoa.
*Breezie then grabbed his collar & pulled him close*
Breezie: Now, remember, bring me the Emerald! The rest of the treasure is yours, but the Emerald is mine.
*Nack straightened himself after she put him down. He snickered wickedly as he went to the mouth*
Wave: Raa! The Emerald! Raa! The Emerald! *whispering* Geez, where'd you dig this loser up?
Breezie: SSSShh!
*Nack walked up the Cave's mouth. He looked inside & stairs appeared. Before he could take a step in, the Cave came to life*
Cave of Wonders: WHO DISTURBS MY SLUMBER?
Nack: I - It is I, Nack. A humble thief.
Cave of Wonders: KNOW THIS. ONLY ONE MAY ENTER HERE. *Breezie & Wave looked at each other confused* THE ONE WHOSE WORTH LIES FAR WITHIN. THE DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH.
*Nack turned back to Breezie & shrugged*
Breezie: What are you waiting for? Go on!
*Nack gulped & walked up to the mouth of the cave. He set one foot inside. Nothing happened. Suddenly, the cave roared angrily. Nack screamed & tried to escape, but the mouth closed, trapping him*
Breezie: NOOOOOO!
Cave of Wonders: SEEK THEE OUT THE DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH!
*The two halves of the gold Chao statue tumbled down the sand dune. The parrot poked her head out of the sand*
Wave:*coughing* I can't believe it! I just don't believe it! *she picked up the pieces of the Chao* We're never gonna get ahold of that stupid Emerald! Just forget it! Look at this! Look at this! I'm so ticked off that I'm molting!
*She took the pieces back to Breezie*
Breezie: Patience, Wave, patience. That fool, Nack, was obviously less then worthy.
Wave:*on Breezie's shoulder* Oh, there's a big surprise! That's an incredible - I think I'm gonna have a heart attack and die from that surprise! What're we gonna do?! We got a big problem here, a big -
*Breezie pinched her beak shut*
Breezie: Yes. Only one may enter. I must find this one, this Diamond in the Rough.
