Preface: Hello, everybody! Welcome to what's a bit of a different story from me! As you can see from the tags, this is a Bluey story, but it's also a Calvin and Hobbes story! Specifically, it's a crossover with Swing123 and garfieldodie's "Calvinverse"! Of course, there's a lot of content in there, so this prologue will give you what I feel is the necessary info to properly enjoy this story, at least from what I've read myself. Hope you enjoy!

It was finally split from its brother.

It was going to not squander the opportunity to vanquish him once and for all.

And to do that, it needed help from a certain scientist.

[Character Selected: Calvin]
[Current World: Universe Prime]
[Current Location: Unnamed Neighborhood, School Bus]

Calvin stared out of the school bus window as he was being driven home from school. It was the first day of spring break, and exciting thoughts filled his head. The freedom! The adventures to come! The inventions to test out, especially the one he had brought to school that day…

"I know that look," he suddenly heard a voice behind him say. "You're planning on throwing water balloons at me again, aren't you?"

Calvin looked away from the window. Staring at him from the seat across from him was Susie Derkins. "As a matter of fact, Miss Derkins,"he responded, "what I am planning has nothing to do with you!"

"Oh, drop dead, Calvin!" said Susie. "What you did before we started second grade made me think you changed!"

Calvin shrugged and went back to staring out the window. His mind didn't turn to his plans for the break, though. Rather, he began to think about how Susie was right. Even though he was only seven years old, he had been through quite a lot that had changed him greatly.

It all started in the winter of either '96 or '97, when he first met Dr. Retro Griffin. He was tricked into entering the mad doctor's secret lab, and his imagination was manipulated to have Retro take over the world and reshape it to his will. The experience was a little traumatic at first, but it caused Calvin to have a change of heart - one that would lead him to becoming the Earth's greatest defender.

Then, in the summer of 2005, he was sent to Camp Pine and was abducted by aliens. It was the first time he met the alien Rupert Chill, who worked with his brother, masquerading as two Camp Pine counselors, to try and take over the world. It was only the first time Calvin met Rupert, but Calvin was lucky to make it out of that alive.

As the years went on, Calvin slowly began to have more fantastical adventures, venturing beyond the universal barriers and going across all of reality, including alternate dimensions. He fought many more foes, like Dr. Brainstorm, and had more encounters with Retro and Rupert. He also started to have an actual group of friends, including Andy, a homeschooled boy who didn't seem to be fazed by the antics, Socrates, a tiger who was essentially his best buddy Hobbes if he had red stripes and was a huge jokester, and Sherman, Andy's supersmart hamster.

Oh, and there was the MTM, a talking multipurpose machine Calvin invented.

And then came April of 2014, when he discovered something huge: for almost the past 30 years, he, his family, and his associates have all not been aging! An alien group had placed them all in a floating timeline in order to keep Socrates alive, for only he knew a secret code. Thankfully, Calvin managed to erase the timeline, and after three more years, he was finally able to turn seven years old.

One of his most recent adventures was his final encounter with Retro and Rupert, in which Calvin used one of his inventions to trap the two in time-stop permanently. But that time, there was also this 'entity.' He wasn't sure exactly what it was, but it seemed to have had a hand in his adventures, maybe even causing Hobbes to be seen as a stuffed tiger to everyone but him and his friends for most of his life.

Now that that was done, he was breezing through second grade, continuing to save the world, and making more inventions. In fact, now that he was home, he was going to debut one of them…

[Character Selected: Bluey]
[Current World: Bonegea]
[Current Location: Brisbane, Heeler House]

Bluey had trouble eating her breakfast this morning. A thought had been flying around her head that she just couldn't shake. Her dad noticed her picking at her sausage. "Aren't you gonna eat, kiddo?" he asked, concerned.

"I don't know why, but I'm nervous," Bluey responded. "I think today might...not be a normal day."

"Ah, don't be nervous," her dad responded. "Whatever happens to us, we'll make it through together."

Postface: And we're off. I'll be uploading one chapter a week, concurrently with Minecraft Maniacs RPG - The Whisker Haven Saga, so this should be about a four-week ordeal. I hope you enjoy it! P.S.: Swing, g.o., if you're reading this, you're awesome!
