LOZ BOTW 1 - This is set after the defeat of Ganon, and Link and Zelda are starting to re-familiarize each other and themselves.

All 13 Memories have been collected

First Journal entry since The Awakening,

How had so much happened in such a short time? Yes, one-hundred years is long, but that depends on whom you're asking, right? To me, dear reader, my slumber felt like a few precious seconds. But in that space, the love of my life devoted herself to holding the Calamity at bay, and the beloved Kingdom of Hyrule fell to ruin. The people are nice, I guess, and I keep running into some guy name Beedle. He has really helped me throughout the journey of discovering myself while keeping me sufficiently stocked on arrows and insects for elixirs. I'd probably be dead if it wasn't for him and the stable masters. Right now, Zelda and I are at my home in Hateno. Although I remember very little of myself and the champions, I seem to be able to cater to Zelda's every unspoken request.

She's polite that way.

It's midnight, but of recent I have been unable to sleep. The frogs are loud as ever through my open window, the owls hoot and the crickets chirp. Zelda is sleeping upstairs in my bed, but I don't mind. I wish I could join her, but she made it clear the first night that she's a kicker. I still carry the boot sized print on my lower back from when we first slept together, not sexually, just as companions still trying to figure themselves out. Tomorrow, if she is up to it, I will show her around Hateno and take her up to the Ancient Tech Lab. Zelda is as beautiful as my limited memory remembers. Her long golden hair flowing down her back, the way her bright green eyes soak up everything. Even when we sit in silence, I can hear her thoughts rapidly ticking away as he mind takes in the first real non-calamity-related input in over a century. She tells me often that she is happy to be alive, and is happy to have seen me again. I didn't know how to respond to this so I stayed silent, which made her laugh for some reason.

Anyways, I think Zelda is having another nightmare so I'm off to go calm her down (again).

Sincerely,

Link.
